Please be honest. I'm too fat to wear this outfit aren't I?

Yy, agree on Ted Baker as mentioned by Cellardoor, gorgeous dresses.

Your figure is lovely btw.

Imscarlet · 09/08/2016 23:57

At any wedding I've been at recently, the style has been dresses or tops and skirts that have that 50's style full skirt and I think that style would be lovely on you.

Racheyg · 10/08/2016 06:13

Wow thanks guys. I have been in topshop and tried lots on but I might not have been in the right frame of mind.

I love that reiss dress but not sure if the colour is very "wedding."

Was thinking of staying away from bodycon as I'm not very confident and I carry all my weight around my middle.

I saw this on eBay but what bra?

You probably need a multiway bra.

Love that dress btw

PUGaLUGS · 10/08/2016 06:28

The second dress is lovely.

Marks and Spencer's sell a bra that you put special sticky tape on the sides to keep it in place. There isn't a back to the bra. I bought one myself for a dress with a similar back to your second dress. It worked a treat.

The first dress does your figure no favours whatsoever.

nilbyname · 10/08/2016 06:33

I don't like that eBay dress at all. Sorry. Looks cheap- sorry!

Ellieboolou27 · 10/08/2016 06:45

Love the dress but not the colour, white (over yellow)? It looks like, with your figure you could wear one of those 50's style vintage dresses-all vey nipped in and flared at bottom - will try and link some ideas later

nilbyname · 10/08/2016 06:51

I think that high neck lone would zilch for your figure as you have boobs.

I don't think a fit and flare would look right on you, but something more tailored/structured would. A kimono shaped printed dress would look amazing on you. I saw something in mango let me have a s

TheGreatDessert · 10/08/2016 06:55

Dress one is awful. You need to be straight up straight down to get away with cutouts like that. I am not, so I leave these things to my teenage niece.

I don't like dress two either. As said above it looks cheap, is not a very nice cut and looks like it'll be too short.

What's your budget?

nilbyname · 10/08/2016 06:57

Not sure if the colours but this sort of shape would look good on you.

Everyone seems to recommend 50s style dresses and for the most part they look quite fancy dressish to me! Definitely not cool if that's what you're going for.

I don't think the colour suits you.

TheGreatDessert · 10/08/2016 07:09

This is similar to dress one but nicer. Kimono dresses up above are also nice.

HippyPottyMouth · 10/08/2016 07:12

You are not fat but the dress is too tight. If you like it, can you try the next size up?

Thisismyalias · 10/08/2016 07:19

You're not fat at all.

The outfit is wrong, and if you don't feel comfortable in it, you won't look good in it.

Can you pull the skirt up so it sits just underneath the top of the top, then get a belt or ribbon to hide the join?

Thefitfatty · 10/08/2016 07:23

Not to fat, but wrong outfit. You could to the crop top and skirt with something less frilly? Maybe a solid color?

ButteredToastAndStrawberryJam · 10/08/2016 07:27

The designer made a mistake splitting it into two.

mogloveseggs · 10/08/2016 07:34

Sent too soon. This is lovely?

GlindatheFairy · 10/08/2016 07:35

I think a dress in that shape instead of separates would look good. How about this?

GinIsIn · 10/08/2016 07:35

You aren't fat at all, but the outfit is a bit too small at the back. Can you swap it for the next size up?

TheGreatDessert · 10/08/2016 07:36

ted baker - nice dress horrible zip

GlindatheFairy · 10/08/2016 07:36

Oh that's lovely Mog also.

TheGreatDessert · 10/08/2016 07:42

love this skirt

WeekendAway · 10/08/2016 07:43

You are not fat but that isn't a nice or flattering outfit. Someone with no excess flesh at all could get away without any rolls appearing in the gap but it still wouldn't be a very nice outfit. Unless you were a Caberet dancer.
