it's nice but it will be very heavy and sticky outy for want of a better explanation on the waist. i think the skater style will compliment your lovely figure though.

Reds not really my colour so i can't say i like it much. prefer a wine red but that's just personal choice however i did read online bold brights colours are best avoides at weddings as eyes will be drawn to you on group photos.

You certainly don't have a lot of tummy! There should be plenty oh boutiques in London that would have this neckline!

Racheyg · 21/08/2016 17:24

I'm keeping the dress whether I wear it to the wedding. I really like the dress. Obv I will wear with a better bra Grin

Is the leopard print shoes too much? Does the fit of the dress make me look huge?

I like that one best, with a better bra though like you said. I do like the shoes with it too actually.

augustusglupe · 21/08/2016 20:49

You don't look fat in it, but it doesn't suit you,
It wouldn't suit me either, I really don't like it. As others have said OP, you've got a good shape, you just need to find the right dress.

gingerbreadmanm · 21/08/2016 22:32

i quite like it. it does look a bit tight on the back aroynd the shoulder area. i wonder if a control slip would sit nicely underneath it?

shoes go quite nice too.

PUGaLUGS · 22/08/2016 07:07

The dress is too tight. It isn't the right style/shape of dress for you. Sorry.

Imscarlet · 22/08/2016 08:42

It's the waistline, it makes you look boxy.

Gatekeeper · 22/08/2016 08:45

sorry but that red dress does nothing for you; boxy looking and it's pulling on the back

Runningupthathill82 · 22/08/2016 10:55

The dress might work OK in a size up? It just looks really tight and makes you appear bigger than you are (which isn't big at all). Sorry.

Racheyg · 22/08/2016 14:08

What's better? The strapless dress or the "boxy" dress? I don't think I can face trying anymore clothes on. Sad I wish this wedding would hurry up, I don't think I have been so concerned with how I look before.

id go for jumpsuit with a fascinator and different shoes. maybe some barely there sandals in black?

Runningupthathill82 · 22/08/2016 14:25

The red is better than the pink strapless, IMO, but would be better still in the next size up.

talksensetome · 22/08/2016 14:38

I must have missed the strapless one. That is my favourite. I love the colour.

Imscarlet · 22/08/2016 17:51

I just went back through the thread and saw the strapless one. It's not bad per say, but it looks like it needs to be hoiked up at the front and it doesn't do your back any favours. To be totally honest, they both look too small for you, and that is not to say that you are fat, you aren't, but those dresses on you make you look like you need to shed a couple of pounds because they are too small and catch you in all the wrong places. If either of them were a size up they would probably look better.

Ineedmorelemonpledge · 22/08/2016 18:00

I just find that dress a strange mix and I'm not sure of what it's supposed to be doing?

Classic lace and shape/length - with a cutout? Confused

I also think they are extremely hard colours to wear on pale skin.

It's the dress that's confused, I think.

Looking at your hair and tattoos etc it seems you are a bit more edgy than this dress can be. A bold colour and cut would work better. You're legs are great and you have dainty ankles and nice shoulders, so they could be shown off a lot more too in something skimming and fitted above the knee???

Imscarlet · 22/08/2016 18:18

I think a Bardot dress something like this but maybe not as long m.johnlewis.com/jolie-moi-floral-organza-prom-dress-black/p/2809085

Or maybe something like this m.johnlewis.com/oasis-floral-print-cowl-dress-blue-multi/p/2943335

I'm not mad about the floral print on either of them, but I think the shapes might suit

SexNamesRFab · 22/08/2016 18:53

I really like the red dress with the leopard shoes. It's a great colour, edgy enough for your look and v flattering. I think it's just the camera angle which makes it look like your shoulders are out of proportion to your hips. I am hourglass and cannot stand photos of me taken from this angle.

SexNamesRFab · 22/08/2016 18:54

Ps burn the pink one - it's not you.

DakotaFanny · 22/08/2016 19:08

I think you'd look lovely in a colourful pencil skirt, preferably patterned, and a nice Cani top. You have a great figure but this look would show off your slim bottom half and minimise your wider shoulders...(I wish my shoulders were only as wide as yours!!!)

DakotaFanny · 22/08/2016 19:10

Something bold like this.....(the first one on Google!)

Imscarlet · 22/08/2016 19:19

A Bardot top would be lovely with a pencil skirt like that too
