Just reporting back on today's exciting find - Sam Edelman flat strappy sandals (not gigis) in tk maxx. That's sorted holiday shoes, depending on what arrives in my M&S package this week. Dispatch is sooo slow but looking forward to opening the beauty box.

Got some cheap Primark skinnies too as fat between sizes and nothing fits me Shock

KanyesVest · 18/06/2016 20:42

I've turned into a compulsive shopper. I got a gift of a voucher today which would almost cover this beauty. Thing is, I have norks aplenty, rarely wear black and I never go out. It is very good value at half price though...

Hello!!!

I am drunk. Very drunk.

But new jeans were bought today. Ankle zip ones from oasis and I loves them,

Well I was out yesterday and felt really hot (bloody weather) went in a boutique locally saw unbranded (not known) khaki green bomber jacket (with lovely orange lining) and camouflage short sleeve with metal rivets along shoulders t-shirt top (unbranded says 'vintage' i think. Went really well together a lot cooler than the clothes I had on and I have nothing like them and was toying with buying a bomber jacket so quite pleased. I actually wore both items out of shop!

Murinea · 19/06/2016 13:17

JackandDiane He/she/it was spamming for some webstore.

taybert · 19/06/2016 13:22

I assumed they'd linked some more ugly shoes and Jack had reported them.

whirlygirly · 19/06/2016 20:48

Apparently salt water sandals are "the thing" amongst the mums at school. But bearing in mind that crocs were "the thing" here just a few years ago, I'm proceeding with caution.
Anyone on here got a view on this?

LaConnerie · 19/06/2016 21:12

Does anybody have an Ollie & Nic bag? I keep seeing them popping up online but have never seen one in RL. Am still on a quest for the perfect Tote...

AdoraKiora · 19/06/2016 21:46

Kanyes, that dress is sex-ayyyyyy Grin

Like.

I would look like a cross between Shirley Carter and Cher in it, though, I fear.

AdoraKiora · 19/06/2016 21:48

whirly - Hmmm Saltwater...popular on MN, but I feel the same way about them that I feel about Birkies, Crocs, clogs and Fit Flops though....might be comfy but look clumpy N frumpy. So depends if you're going for style or practicality....

freshprincess · 19/06/2016 21:57

I'm sure I've seen OLlie and Nic bags in TK Maxx.

Has anyone seen the not-real M&S leather jacket mentioned up thread IRL? I need a lightweight Spring/summer jacket and I quite like the look of it. Our M&S here is teeny so stock basics.

WhisperingLoudly · 20/06/2016 06:28

Debating getting some hush harems for slobbing around in. Bit worried they might be super long in the leg for a shortie. Can't decide on colour either. Not sure it should be this hard Grin

Murinea · 20/06/2016 06:56

Whispering - How shortie? I'm 5'2 and they're ok - the ruched bit is just not as stretched out as on the tall model. In fact I have another colourway coming to me in the mail as we speak. Blush

WhisperingLoudly · 20/06/2016 07:01

Thanks Murina I'm 5'3 so will give them a go. I'm thinking slate blue which look very grey online (which is what I want) or the charcoal although they look a bit brown ish - any thoughts?

PrimalLass · 20/06/2016 07:23

I love my Saltwaters - I have them in patent fuscia. They are not clumpy at all.

JackandDiane · 20/06/2016 07:28

Oh fgs. This is not a fugly sandal thread

WhisperingLoudly · 20/06/2016 07:41

Another thread has got me thinking about boots. Quite fancy a pair of these

PrimalLass · 20/06/2016 08:26

They are not ugly, they are pretty Biscuit

taybert · 20/06/2016 11:52

Help me with work shoes! I like these Steve Madden ones but a bit more than I usually spend. I fancy a blocker heel than usual due to always wrecking thinner ones almost immediately. Quite like high, prefer pointy or almond toe to round. Some kind of black or grey, I've got tan, navy and colours covered. Thanks!

Nearlyadoctor · 20/06/2016 12:16

Freshprincess It was me that mentioned the jacket and have subsequently bought it. Tried the midnight and the black - chose the black. IMO it's very good value for money, doesn't look at all cheap.
I had fallen in love with an AllSaints one at £330 but honestly couldn't justify the extra expense.

deutschland83 · 20/06/2016 13:28

Sorry I was drunk on Saturday. I'm still hungover.

I also did a massive Borden order whilst pissed GrinGrin

Who knows what's coming.

Nearlyadoctor · 20/06/2016 13:56

Borden?? Are you still pissed? Wink
