The Zara and top shop sales have started but typically none of the things I had my eye on have gone on sale. Does anyone know if they add other stuff later on?

Keepon - it sounds like you prefer the Gap linen dress on you. I am neither short nor big of nork, so I can see how it might be better than the Boden one. But it's all in the accessories, I think....

Very - I LOVE that Uniqlo dress. I really really don't need any more dresses, though.

Now, what do you think of this faux leather wrap skirt? I saw it on Style Guile (don't start...) and thought it looked really cool on her.

I think I saw that instore, Cointreau and was impressed. Shame I don't like khaki.

I'm looking for the perfect pair of flat black sandals, at a reasonable price
A black leather tote similar to a jaeger one I have in tan, but fancy a different brand
Could also do with a new purse
Trying not to consider clothes unless v v cheap as dieting and hoping to go down a few sizes

Trix you may have to hold your nerve, but it feels from looking around the shops at the moment (not to mention the biblical rain tonight) that sales will be aplenty this year, sadly.

I am trying to avoid the Cos sale as i absolutely cannot buy any more clothes this summer, I adore Cos & hove more clothes from there than anywhere else.
I have gone so much over budget that I've had to make the uniqlo dress part of my birthday present from DH .
Am hoping for vouchers from family so I can buy the sandals I really need for my holidays, so still some shopping on the horizon.

Think I've found an alternative to the all saints jacket. Not that it's cheaper. Or available online. Decisions

Gosh, I shouldn't have looked at Jigsaw, now I want stuff. What is their sizing like? If I'm an 8 in Boden, what size top do I take in Jigsaw?

Jigsaw comes up slightly big (but I think so does Boden although I only have ravello top) so you'd probably need an 8 or XS

Promised to feedback - So collected biker jacket from M&S today and suitably impressed...
I had just come from AllSaints and fallen in love with one for £330, so understandably had very low expectations of a fake leather one at £55.

It is obviously more lightweight but does not say PVC in any way shape or form. I did change the midnight blue for the black as I thought with hindsight it would be more useful. I really like it and don't feel I'll have to live and die in it to justify the price. My mum was with me who is a real snob ( could never be seen with a bag that isn't leather or cost less than a small mortgage ) and she was very complimentary, having already seen the seen me try the AllSaints one.

Did you see the midnight blue too? I would definitely want that and not the black.

Yes Floisme, it was the midnight blue I originally ordered and when I went into collect they had black instore.
Really liked the blue but having assessed my wardrobe over the last couple of days, decided I really don't need anything else that is either Navy, or stripey. ( I also possess about six navy coats in varying styles). Being blonde I have always thought black a bit harsh.
Tried both on and thought that my denim jacket could fill the gap where black isn't suitable, but own very little black so that's what swayed me in that direction.
I don't think you'd be disappointed - just lacks the lovely real leather smell.

Also left me enough funds to buy both a charcoal grey jumper in Mint Velvet and a blush pink vest t shirt in All Saints.
( No navy or stripes!!!)

It is actually really lovely. Big enough to fit in all the essentials for a day out, but not huge like my usual day bag which just ends up stuffed with clutter and I have to rummage to find anything in!

Total indulgence though..
