hopefully I tend to order now whilst returns are free, if I like it and they still have in the sale I reorder and return sale one with original order form and free label.

I've just bought these sandals:

Hopefully · 28/06/2016 16:11

What will you wear them with dancer? I'm always interested in shoes like that, but can't imagine how I'd style them.

Dancergirl · 28/06/2016 16:34

I think they'd go with both jeans and dresses wouldn't they? Or am I missing something?

Hopefully · 28/06/2016 17:12

I think they probably just aren't quite right for my style, which is why I can't visualise myself in them. I am clinging on to the rapidly dying Birkenstock trend with both hands though Grin.

JackandDiane · 28/06/2016 17:27

I hardly live in the Shetlands. Still

I'm in London too Amber - and right now (and in living memory) it isn't exactly ... summery. Pissing down and not even warm. You'd regret bare legs if you were out and about.

KanyesVest · 28/06/2016 18:36

So the jumpsuit arrived. I like the colour, but that's about the only thing going for it on my short dumpy arse. Leather dress also arrived and it's gorgeous. Would have been delighted at full price, so very pleased with my half price bargain.

Floisme · 28/06/2016 18:42

Took some Carvela silver pointy flats back to TK Maxx. Sorry can't see a link (they were in clearance). Really lovely but they didn't work with shoe liner thingies and I could tell they were going to rub.

And got some trews in Whistles sale for £45. Not showing on website but slim leg, cuffed at the ankle, light khaki. A bit like the ones that French singer was wearing at Glastonbury - the one who could dance like Michael Jackson.

Sorry for link failure.

taybert · 28/06/2016 19:48

I've just put the heating on.

CointreauVersial · 28/06/2016 23:01

Shame about jumpsuit, Kanye. It probably just needed a bit of height. Can you link to the leather dress? It sounds excellent.

Hopefully - order that Hush dress! I wish I could but I don't need any more summer stuff.

I may have just scored a gorgeous Whistles dress on eBay.....

KanyesVest · 28/06/2016 23:41

You're very kind, Cointreau, but more height and less girth would be the ideal combo Grin

Fantastic dress here. 12 is perfect on me and just the right length.

JackandDiane · 29/06/2016 06:58

Love that dress. I can't quite see. Is it half leather?

OP posts:
KanyesVest · 29/06/2016 07:23

Yep, the front has a leather panel. The rest of the dress is a scuba type fabric so good for holding in my wobbly bits.

CointreauVersial · 29/06/2016 12:42

Oh yes, I remember it now. Great price!

Was in town today and realised how lazy I have got about shopping in real shops. Can't be bothered to sift through rails of stuff when i can just apply filters when searching online!

Am also on the hunt for light tan Chelsea boots for a/w, if anyone see any. Also low heeled ankle boots with some form of tassel going on.

Hopefully · 30/06/2016 14:59

Sees, not see.

hippiedays · 30/06/2016 15:03

I'm the same Hopefully. I went into the local shopping centre and found myself getting annoyed with the very long queues and the clothes were just in a mess. I know its sale time but another reason to avoid them as I've far more chance of getting what I want in my size online........

I've realised that I never look 'put together' because of my shoes. I live in converse/ash trainers. I really doesn't matter what I wear, unless I wear shoes that finish the outfit. The problem is I walk/drive/run after small children so need that dreaded word 'comfort'.

Ha! Had the same experience today looking for some trousers for DS. I was huffing at having to scan the rails for sizes and remember which colours where in his size. I whipped my phone out t find the inside leg measurement of the trousers I was holding in my hand!

taybert · 30/06/2016 17:33

Fine shoes are nice and I will keep as less than £30 but probably no good for work. Hmm. The search for black shoes which fall somewhere between supply teacher and dominatrix continues.

JohnCheese · 01/07/2016 13:58

This frill top from Cos arrived. Finally. Very straight cut which is probably not the best on me but I still really like it. Lovely fabric, love the colour and the frill detail. I am currently a large 10 (post holiday excesses, I do it every time, never learn) and the 10 is plenty. Size down. H likes, kids hate it, I like a lot.

Also got this necklace, this navy v-neck tee which I love, this skirt, also lovely, planning on wearing all 3 together. They're a great navy.

Also this tee fell into my basket,, really like, lovely neckline.

That's it.
Refusing to buy anything else.
Until someone links ConfusedGrin

A few cheeky holiday buys from Gather&See - silver sandals, gorgeous kaftan and summer dress. It's all fair trade and ethical so thats my excuse that it is all OK as going to a good cause!! Wink

nickdrakeslovechild · 01/07/2016 15:45

Went into real life shops today. Walked out of M&S! I went in looking for the "leather" biker jacket, asked 2 members of staff for help to find it as my local one is huge. Neither knew where it could be so I ended up walking out. I had lots of bags and DD in tow so not really ready to look around for an hour. Did find some amazing jackets in primark they are bomber style but glittery, I ended up getting the pink and blue but cant find pics of either on line.

The accessorise sale was great too, ended up buying a leather look shopping tote in red its nicer IRL.

SuperFlyHigh · 01/07/2016 17:27

JohnCleese wish I could wear Cos - it looks awful on me - on SIL and her SIL (2 separate people) it looks great...

I have a red skirt and a black and white checked top from there but I don't really like both of them... prefer &otherstories.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/07/2016 17:36

Love that v neck t-shirt. Think I might get the khaki one, if our store has got it.
