SnuffleGruntSnorter · 04/03/2016 08:00

These shoes featured in my dreams last night! That makes them the shoes of my dreams I suppose. Anyone want to lend me £100?

BadDoGooder · 04/03/2016 08:01

My eyes!!
Just wtaf are those things??

Just showed them to DP and he said they are the mousedogbird of shoes!
I said more like a sheepcowboot! Grin

WomanScorned I love those boots! Envy

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 04/03/2016 08:02

Yeah, but so is Donald Trump

Grin
PurpleDaisies · 04/03/2016 08:05

I think there should be a price for the first person spotting someone wearing them in real life. Maybe bleach for their eyeballs. Or alternative a badge would do.

PurpleDaisies · 04/03/2016 08:05

Price? Prize.

Stellar67 · 04/03/2016 08:15

God I wish I hadn't seen those, er, shocks?

But this thread is funnyGrin

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 04/03/2016 08:22

THEY COST 100.00! Shock Its an early April fools gag. Must be. Grin

OutwiththeOutCrowd · 04/03/2016 08:23

Actually the socks are quite nice.

I think Clarks should lower the price drastically and market 'em as socks with removable shoes

... with emphasis on the removable!

bakeoffcake · 04/03/2016 08:30

You do realise they are the perfect boot for the British climate. You know, those days when it's freezing in the morning and then about 10 mins of sunny weather in the afternoon?
Just start off in full boot and casually slip off the sock when required.
When it gets chilly again, slip the sock back on and glow in a sense of accomplishment as passers by stare in wonder and jealousy at your adaptable attire.

You're all missing a trick.

FlorisApple · 04/03/2016 08:31

Definitely designed as camouflage for hooves. Not very good camouflage.

I serious thought they must have been a gag at first, though.

Grapejuicerocks · 04/03/2016 08:52

Ha ha. That is a fake web page, right?
Please tell me no one in their right mind would buy those or think they are a good idea to sell?
Someone or someones need sacking.

sparkleface · 04/03/2016 09:04

Bahahahahhaahha SHOCKS Bahahahaahahahhahahaah!

Completely accurate Stellar67

Firstlawofholes · 04/03/2016 09:16

Don't you all get it? These are the PERFECT solution for the "shoes on or off in the house" war! Leave the outer contraption at the door, walk around in your stylish and warm fleece socks, safe in the knowledge that you haven't REALLY taken your boots off, only half. Hey presto, world peace is restored, on MN anyway.

Clarks' designers next job: resolving the parent and child parking debate.

SugarMiceInTheRain · 04/03/2016 09:17

Thanks for this. I laughed so much that hot chocolate came out of my nose, followed by several minutes of violent coughing and choking then another 10 of laughing so hard I cried. This thread has really brightened my morning!

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 04/03/2016 09:19

Is anyone else finding the more they look at them the more viable they're becoming? I'm mentally wondering what I could wear with them. A bed sheet is all I've got so far.

Lweji · 04/03/2016 09:20

If only Clarks could sort the toilet roll debate, that would be genius.

ChinUpChestOut · 04/03/2016 09:20

Holy fuck. I really wish I hadn't clicked on that.

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 04/03/2016 09:23

Wow - I didn't expect them to be that bad, I actually did say, out loud, "what the fuck are those?!"

They're APPALLING!! Shock

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 04/03/2016 09:23

Would they be any good for people with their leg in a plaster cast? I wonder how wide they open up... Hmm

I also don't understand what season they might be for - wet optional socks anyone? Lovely!

And all for the bargain price of 100 British pounds.

PurpleDaisies · 04/03/2016 09:26

^Would they be any good for people with their leg in a plaster cast?*

That's it! They must have been aiming at that (very) niche market.

foffx · 04/03/2016 09:38

I really can see this thread being in the DM under the caption "hilarious" soon.

Only for once, they'll be telling the truth

Livelifefortoday · 04/03/2016 09:45

Still laughing. Laughed discretely in the playground while dropping off DD. Couldn't get the vision of sheep shoes out of my head. Must have looked like a simpleton.

Thank you Op, made my week.

Goodness, now I know why the MN sockpuppet hasn’t posted for a while!

It’s trussed up face down in a dodgy boot.

Shall we pay the ransom or not? Only 200 100 pounds!
