dress tried on, adored it, longer on me shortarse but because it wasn't lined it felt scratchy and I just couldn't figure out what I'd wear with it. Fab colour and fit though.

dress in H Nics. More midi on me. If I needed another black dress this would be the one. Absolutely amazing on, fabric sucked everything in, not for big boons.......lovely. V me.

There was aMihael Kors dress in Selfridges, can't find the link . Just below the knee, shift fitted shape with capped ruffle sleeves in teal.......nearly cried it was so gorgeous.....but £800ish....totally wonderful.

Busy, busy week ahead but have booked all of next week off as I really need to relax. I did a big declutter of DD's toys over the weekend and labeled drawers etc so that she -and DH-- know where things are supposed to be put away.

I need to do that Lib. I was on the case in July and managed to get rid of some baby toys but then stalled in the hols.

I've got another fancy dress party this weekend, think my friends are trying to recapture their childhood. We're going add the Avengers - it's an "A" theme - but am in a bit of a panic as will be wearing a leather catsuit eek. So just resumed the 30 day shred for the first time since pre- holiday and now hurt. I should be living on lettuce but don't think that's going to happen!

I've bought these Next shoes - awful pic from the Next website but I am really pleased with them and have worn them 2 days running, they look good with jeans and dresses / skirts.

Lib this dress and these trousers are quite Marni-esque.

On a long train journey on my own, bliss! Need to do some work but wanted to check in and wish Shop all the best for today and a speedy recovery. You'll be back recuperating in your (very clean) house breathing the soothing lavender scented air before you know it.

Stokey you do go to a lot of fancy dress parties, so much fun. We dressed up vintage style for Goodwood revival yesterday. Loved how everyone really got into the spirit of it. They even had a retro beauty salon doing victory rolls, chignons etc. Good luck with shred. I stopped it as ds kept talking about 'butt kicks, kicking my own butt' and dh said it sounded rude!

Lib love the Marni dress and do remember Blair linking it. Hope it's good but you're quite right to send back everything you weren't sure about.

QueenC love that shirt, thanks. Need more shirts and jeans and would like some dark trainers too. Wearing stans every day atm, they stink (sorry, that's not very Vogue).

well, i had my official confirmation over the weekend that i'm progressing to the next level of my course so that's really good. On the bad side, I had a huge allergic reaction to something unknown so have a bright red rashy goatee of shame! really hoping it calms down in these next couple of days as it's enrolment day this week and I already feel nervous enough without worrying about what my face looks

Feeling much better thanks. Just sick of it all really. I also had some light bleeding a few days ago at day 9 so I feel like I'm constantly on my period. Felt a bit lightheaded at circuits this morning and have decided that today is not really a day to fast and that my body needs food more than it needs to lose 4lb.

Is it raining with everyone? Utterly hideous here. Had forgotten how awful the school run is when it's p'ing down. Wearing cosy gap sweatshirt though. I'm contemplating getting another in grey but then the danger is that I'll wear nothing else all winter!

I have been sat on this hospital bed in paper pants with support socks on since 8am! Soooooo hungry it's ridiculous. Loving the links to divert my attention

I am hungover (stomach ache). Went to Radio 2 live in Hyde Park yesterday and it was a bit of an all day/evening thing. Really fun though :)

And...! Instead of buying a whole new bag to achieve the cross body thing, I have scored a leather strap on Ebay to wear with my Mulberry Mitzy hobo. It's apparently brand new and from a Mitzy East West crossbody. It cost a lot but was much less than a new designer bag.

I got mine off EBay blair. New, I might add. It has a zip that goes all the way around the bum. Don't want to think about why it's there.

My polo neck is navy - chocolate would make me look recently exhumed - I think it will be useful. The AA dress is great - really sucks you in. I'm v pleased with it. Nervous about starting back but feel I have nailed the wardrobe!
