I tried lots of coatigans on too - whoever linked this one a few days ago, I tried it on and it is lovely. Didn't buy it as it doesn't have a collar.

In fact, I loved just about everything in Jigsaw yesterday.

This Boden coatigan is definitely my favourite and I think I will get lots of wear from it - it arrived a couple of days ago but I need a smaller size so that should arrive early next week.

That's a great price for cashmere Shop and gorgeous colour.

shopafrolic · 02/10/2015 18:46

It's a merino cashmere mix Fedup

justasecond · 02/10/2015 19:03

Hope you feel better soon shop antibiotics are horrible Flowers
The woolovers jumper looks good.
Love both the Hobbs dresses Fedup
Blair ime the scales are usually on if there is skin but I always remove it after cooking. Shame about the coat but best wait for the perfect one. My DH usually keeps his comments to himself but when I just started working and was living at home my brothers said I looked like a football manager in a camel coat I bought from Jigsaw. I took it back and got a black one instead!
Wore my new Raoul top last night to dinner with a friend. I was nice wearing something bold and different for a change.
Did anyone see the Uniqlo Lemaire collab? I quite liked some pieces. I came in late last night so ordered the navy long cashmere polo neck www.uniqlo.com/uk/store/goods/161236 most of the stuff is gone already though.

MarshaBrady · 02/10/2015 19:14

Justa ah meant to say great to see you! Welcome back

Fedup yes I really like them, great dark indigo.

FedupNagging · 02/10/2015 19:26

Ah yes, didn't see the 30/70 cashmere/merino mix - still good though.

That jumper looks soooo snuggly justa, you were lucky catching one in stock.

Having a quick look on the Uniqlo site, I think ds2 would love some of the graphic print t's. He's not really interested in fashion (SIOB!) but has a great sense of humour and loves t shirts with quirky pictures or slogans on. I bought him slim leg jeans and told him they were normal but come up small but hey, wear them anyway!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 02/10/2015 19:47

I think some more of the Uniqlo Lemaire items are being released next weekend, so I am going to check them out in store.

shop Grin I did get the refund. But I didn't have anything else for dinner, I shop at Waitrose every day. She did mention they would need to send it off to be looked at, but I didn't see the point - it wasn't like a faulty batch, it was just substandard in my view. Thought that was the point of the little guarantee they print on everything. Right I'll shut up now.

Is anyone looking forward to Balmain x H&M? I am considering taking the day off work! Never done that before.

Drywhitethanks · 02/10/2015 21:11

Scales are disgusting. I only eat skin if it's crispy.

OOTD:
Tomato red Hobbs skirt from last year
Black and white stripy top tucked in under black cardigan
Black suede Hobbs wedges

DH actually commented how great I looked......he never normally notices in a good way must like a bit of ooooh la la Grin

Drywhitethanks · 02/10/2015 21:13

Shop lovely that you and Dh were able to go out on such a lovely day

AmberNectarine · 02/10/2015 21:38

I don't really rate the H&M collaborations - I always think it's Designer money for H&M quality - would never pay £250 for a H&M dress. The Marant one was ridiculous - £200 for a jacket when a real etoile one was about £280, I don't think so.

The Wang one was shocking - the clothes were hideous.

VivaVegas · 02/10/2015 22:10

Yes, a thank you to Linus from me too, picked up my shortened MiH jeans today and they are now perfect, glad I took the plunge!
Also collected these today Temperley Heels and they are just what I need for (rare!) nights out. Look good with skinnies but also with a LBD.
So that's me spent up for this month!

Ujjayi · 03/10/2015 01:20

Justa - I've ordered the navy v-neck slouchy cashmere jumper from the Uniqlo/Lemaire range. Going to collect it tomorrow so will report back. That particular cut of knit has been on my wishlist for the last 10 years...no pressure! I'm also toying with another gorgeous chunky, slouchy perfect weekend knit that I will link to later if I decide to go ahead. Love knitwear but it's a nightmare when you hate synthetics. And sadly you cannot guarantee a wool or at least wool-rich blend even with a splurge on designer pieces. Not prepared to drop £250+ on an acrylic/viscose piece.

I agree with Amber about the H&M collaborations being not great value for money. The only exception being the Matthew Williamson co-lab, which I'm still collecting pieces from now via eBay.

Heading to London later for a belated autumn shop. Knits, plaid shirt, khaki chinos or skinny cargos, & ankle boots (flats & midi heels) on my wish list. (I'm also doing 70's & folkloric vibes with dresses & blouses but already own a bit of this style & designing/making some pieces myself). Where should I head to? Am thinking Russell & Bromley for boots but unsure for knits & trousers.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 03/10/2015 01:35

best thing i've purchased recently is some burgundy skinnies. they are just right and something i've been searching for for ages. I bought cheap as shh don't tell anyone but i've lost a stone and a half according to the scales! I jumped on them this afternoon, for the first time in weeks, as I just wanted to check i'd not gained any more and bam, surprise huge loss! I genuinely wasn't expecting it at all, i'd not even though about it really

AmberNectarine · 03/10/2015 07:54

Urgh, up all night with vomiting DS. Have tried to soften blow by ordering these boots which I have liked for about 3 years. Quiet day today, I think!

Longislandicetee · 03/10/2015 08:15

Morning! Amber poor you and poor ds. That was dd and I 2 weeks ago. I hope he recovers quickly.

I come bearing links...

I popped into town to get https://www.pinterest.com/pin/380202393521356443//_ these RB boots]] in a size 4. Don't know whether it's my imagination but the size 3.5s don't have a lot of room.

I went buy M&S and bought https://www.pinterest.com/pin/380202393521480152//_ this animal print mini skirt]]. Looks great on with long boots.

My nanny left yesterday. I got her a couple of gifts because she hasn't slacked off at all over the last 3 weeks. Plus dh pulled a stunt that i wasn't very happy about which left her in sole charge of the dcs overnight and she got on with it with no complaining or expectation of being paid. So I got her https://www.pinterest.com/pin/380202393521484835//_ perfume]] and https://www.pinterest.com/pin/380202393521484838//_ this Kate Spade organizer]] from my travels. Our new nanny starts today. Hopefully we can hang on to this one! (I think I can now joke about this, so Flowers to the lovely Voguettes who have held my hand through a very crappy few weeks).

Finally, thank you to Lib and the other Voguettes who persuaded me to treat myself to https://www.pinterest.com/pin/380202393521484829//_ these Saint Laurent glitter pumps]]. Flowers. Lib you were right, I have liked them since QueenC first linked the top shop version (damn her and her lovely Sunday links!!). I popped this https://www.pinterest.com/pin/380202393521484822//_ Marc Jacobs bracelet]] into the basket as I love my Givenchy one.

FedupNagging · 03/10/2015 08:24

Blingy all your links are blank! I hadn't realised you were having such a tough time nanny wise - glad it's all sorted now though.

Amber nice boots - did you link them before as I remember seeing and liking them. Hope ds has a swift recovery.

Love, love those Temperley shoes Viva.

Have a great shop in town today Ujj - look forward to the links later.

Well done One - great surprise for you. Is your dsis still staying with you?

VivaVegas · 03/10/2015 08:38

Saw this cute skirt in Next yesterday:
cord

Longislandicetee · 03/10/2015 08:56

Oh no! Try again (using new ap)...!

Saint Laurent shoes inspired by QueenC
Marc by Marc Jacobs bracelet
animal print mini skirt by M&S which look great with R&B radar dry boots
Kate Spade organizer with the coco mademoiselle perfume was for my nanny

Think that was it!!

FedUp yes it's been a rough few weeks. Sleep told me a few months ago that when I am under stress, I don't radiate it outwardly (couldn't function in my job!) but it takes a toll on my body. This time, it's my scalp....which has gone very very dry. Hopefully the nanny situation is sorted out and my scalp will calm down.

MarshaBrady · 03/10/2015 10:50

Gorgeous Blingy fabulous Saint Laurent sparkles

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 03/10/2015 10:54

thanks Fedup yes, Dsis is still here and will be for a while yet. it's not easy for either of us but we are managing as we just have to get on with it

shopafrolic · 03/10/2015 11:06

Blingy look after yourself please - and get your scalp seen to before hair starts falling out (just happened to a friend) Shock

libertydoddle · 03/10/2015 11:45

blingy I am v similiar when stressed. I don't really show it. I have told a couple of colleagues recently how stressed I have been with work and they were genuinely shocked and said I always seem very calm and unflappable at work. It's definitely a double edged sword as it serves us well in the workplace but not so good for health and wellbeing. Great purchases. M&S mini looks great.

I am on a sodding speed awareness course today Blush. Really annoyed about it. Might be meeting some friends later. Outfit is the R&B Chelsea boots, teal tights (testing out alternatives to black opaques), dusty yellow Bellerose drop waist mini dress, leopard print taupe scarf with orange trim, and oatmeal Jigsaw knitted biker cardigan, MbMJ Natasha bag in taupe. Gold studs and gold&olive leather woven bracelet. Not 100% sure it all works but trying to mix things up a bit more. I have some lovely clothes but realised I am often a bit conservative about how I put outfits together.

QueenCardi · 03/10/2015 12:07

Morning. Outfit sounds great lib, would love to see a photo.
one well done. I've been thinking of ditching the scales as I get obsessed with them.

I currently have little dd asleep on me so I'm going browsing....
