The brochure dropped through my door today too - I absolutely love just about everything in it but yes its expensive and designed for tall leggy people.

i definitely do Dry i know my style definitely sin't to everyone's tastes but to be so rude about it is just, well, rude! I would never be so rude as to comment in the same way about their clothes, shoes, bags or hair styles etc. I don't mind if someone is being honest and saying something really , genuinely doesn't suit me or say, the colour looks bad on me but to completely assassinate someones style like that is very crushing

Gosh, thought you'd all gone a bit bonkers talking about WIT and all the Cape love last night, have just seen her in her Cape and I have to say it's a fantastic outfit. Love the striped black and white top, skinny jeans and heels (all black and white, all easy to copy)......fab.

That droopy boob dress is a bit unfortunate looking. Why didn't anyone notice before putting it into production.

Yesterday I found out that for the last 4 months I've been paying DH's credit card bill as well as mine!

I wanted to make a withdrawal at the atm only to see I had no money left and when I called the cc company after seeing their huge debited amount (well when DH spoke to them as they wouldn't tell me what's happening as I'm only an add-on cardholder) it appeared that ever since DH started using that card, I have been paying for it!

Shocking book keeping on my part but DH reimbursed me immediately.

He never used that card before as he has several so it never was an issue.

Blimey Linus! My DH is so tight on our funds that he noticed last night he'd overpayed me by £20 last month! He almost asked for it back until I pulled this face

Hi everyone. I've been lurking for a few days, have been a bit stressed while I got over a bad cold and worrying about work. Now doing a mindfulness course and getting back into my running (I realised I like it because it clears my head) :)

I've missed loads but shop I hope you're recovering better now and are past the worst few days. At least the weather has been lovely for when you get out and about.

Mara I hope your course is going well and One hope you're enjoying being back at uni and are well.

The remainder of my AW wishlist is a camel wrap coat, Xmas party LBD, couple of going out tops, black blazer and black skinny trousers. And no doubt a few more random bits.

I love my whistles leather jacket Blair, buttery soft. Did you size down? Mine is a 6 and still a shade roomy.

I didn't Amber, but I have bought one from them before in a 10 (and sent it back because I'd just had my colours done, ugh!) and it was ok. I just hope the arms are nice and slim on me, fingers crossed.

I'm really , with JL, I placed an order and it was supposed to be delivered to a friend who is coming over here tonight, delivery was supposed to be on Monday! Still no show!! , called them and they said delivery will be out tomorrow, and delivery to the address will be on Friday!! i paid for next day!!,what's the use in paying for next day if it will take as long as a free one!, ,

ujjayi ladylike and grown up styles is something I could never master, ,WASPS, Hitchcock leading ladies, The way betty draper dresses, it all looks so flawless and beautiful, but I could never do that, and yes marant-esque with a bit of boho and a bit of edge sums up my style too,

Wore my chloe fringed jacket for the first time today, really love it, have a white chloe silk shirt under,and skinny cropped trousers, the shirt is about 5 years old,maybe older, lost count, but very identical to the ones they currently have, so glad I didn't give it way when we moved,

I tried the chloe fringed over the knee boots, love it but I need to be certain about it,

lara I don't order from JL anymore after a few bad experiences. They don't deliver here so I had my orders sent to DMIL and twice the item wasn't delivered.

They did send a replacement after I complained by e-mail but one was a Christmas present that didn't arrive on time and the other was like yours something that needed to be flown to us afterwards.

And then after we got the replacement, we got a second replacement a while later. Once even months later!!! Mad!

I had a bit of a crap day today so opted for retail therapy

Russell & Bromley heeled chelsea boots. I have debated these for a few weeks and tried on loads of cheaper ones but these are really comfy and look good with dresses and jeans so decided as they were the same price as the sensibly returned Marni dress I should get them.

Forest green Cos dress. I dithered a bit over this as it's poly but I didn't feel hot in it in the changing room, possibly because it's a loose fit so decided to go for it.
