Those Rossi Mary Jane's and that silk shirt are perfect QueenC.

Morning all. Mad day here today, tag rugby for DD, then a birthday party, then off to Wembley for NZ/Argentina. DH has selected outfits for me and DD Grin lots of black and silver ferns involved. Did anyone see the Japan/ SA game yesterday? Amazing I may be a total rugby bore for the next few week

I like that coat too QueenC

The D&G mary janes are similar to the ones One and you (?) have - I think someone else too, maybe Ujjayi??

I love the Max Mara cardigan.

Marsha you have gone check mad Grin I actually quite liked the bag but don't think it is really your style.

I am a bit out of the loop but wanted to report back on my style day. Interesting day, though a lot of the 'wardrobe management' stuff I had already learnt on here.

Style wise she found me really hard to pin down and I am not sure I totally agree. She thought I was almost fully 'natural' (which I do agree with) but with a bit of something else which she finally decided on as 'ingenue' - QueenC is that your CP?

What I've taken from it is I need a bit of a feminine aspect to my outfit - though I love to dress in a more 'masculine' style, I need something feminine in there to add to it. I'm not sure ingenue captures it though as to me it is a bit too girly / frilly. I may be getting that bit wrong though - will muse some more.

Am dressed in full natural mode today with hush harems and Lib's APC stripey jumper.

Your day sounds good Lib - are you on hol next week?

Shop when I saw the IM shoes, they reminded me of Hudson boots though nothing stands out as really similar or Penelope Chilvers cuban boots but they are £££ anyway so you may as well go for the Marants

There was a natural dramatic in the group yesterday and it made me think of you!

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 20/09/2015 09:53

the cord skirt i bought this week is fast becoming a favourite, it just goes with everything. pity they don't have it any colours like deep red or plum, i'd love those. hoping the denim one i got is as hard a worker.

oh yes, they are bernice and it is ujjayi that has them too. i'm saving mine for the c word season since i can't wear heels really. they may be a bit much though if i wore them with my sequin sparkly skirts haha

how are you feeling today shop? are you managing to sleep at night?

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 20/09/2015 09:54

really like this bag it's really tempting me but oooh i don't know if i can justify it

BerniceBobsHerHairAgain · 20/09/2015 10:02

That's lovely One - quite classic so you could use it for ages, don't think it would date. I need to go to Primark to look for your cord skirt.

libertydoddle · 20/09/2015 10:51

one I popped into Primary to see if I could find the rust version of your skirt but no luck. That VW bag looks perfect for college. Just the right size for A4 notebook!

Bernice natural is definitely you but agree that ingenue seems off. Maybe a bit of gamine? I think HoC rule out gamine if you are tall but I think the quirky elements of gamine might be you? More masculine with a quirky element rather than the feminine if that makes any sense at all!

And yes I am on hols next week.

Incidentally it's 9 year wedding anniversary today. Remembered when my mother texted to congratulate us this morning oh the romance

BerniceBobsHerHairAgain · 20/09/2015 11:08

That's funny Lib - when I saw the categories I thought Natural Gamine too.

BerniceBobsHerHairAgain · 20/09/2015 11:14

Congrats for your wedding anniversary too!

QueenofCardigans · 20/09/2015 11:58

bernice I think I said natural and gamine for you. I'm suprised by the ingenue aspect for you but maybe you came out quite yang on the personality test? Yes, I'm ingenue natural so need to add detail/feminine bits to my outfit. But it doesn't need to be full on girly. Just even a pintuck on a tee can make the difference to a plain tee. I love the quirky gamine look and sometimes borrow aspects of that or use it for inspiration but I know that if I dressed head to toe in it I'd look silly. Can you still do shirts and masculine shapes like that?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 20/09/2015 14:29

Happy anniversary Lib :)

QueenC great links, I do like a bit of DVF.

Bernice sorry to hear your style day wasn't totally satisfying. I do think so much of it is down to personality and the consultants find that hard to understand in a few hours. We're much better at diagnosing each other on here! I think the overalls/dungarees that everyone said suited you are a good example of the natural/gamine thing.

Shop glad things are a bit more under control now and that you're being well looked after Flowers oh and glad you like the alpha gold.

VivaVegas · 20/09/2015 14:36

Lovely D &G Mary Janes Queen. In fact love the whole outfit.
Ran a half marathon this morning so super tired!

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 20/09/2015 15:51

oh god, you are enabling me!! i do love it though

shopafrolic · 20/09/2015 17:15

Might have to ask for the IMs for my birthday.
Not loving the font on iOs9
Interesting Bernice I'm a classic dramatic - not sure about ingenue for you..... I don't know my stuff tho

AmberNectarine · 20/09/2015 17:26

Exciting news chez Nectarine - we have a cat! He is a 10 week old tuxedo cat called Sven. He seems to be settling in very nicely so far!

MarshaBrady · 20/09/2015 17:26

Bernice sounds interesting, but I think you could have done with more direction from the HOC person. Did she say which celeb it is most like? Or in a short phrase like 'rock chick' - I think that was Karcheer. I feel like we need more to hang on!

I also think you have a lovely distinct personal style, which is young in feel, so perhaps that is the ingenue part.

Happy anniversary Lib

Shop you should.

MarshaBrady · 20/09/2015 17:26

One get the bag! It's perfect for you

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 20/09/2015 17:33
