QueenC, no I adore velvet, but DH can't stand the stuff..........

Ahem, if anyone sees a tasteful Christmas jumper in cotton let me know .........can't face the acrylic Primark one this year

Waves to Topaz
queenC love that you've diagnosed DD. All I know is that DS suits navy and red, but not beige or muted colours. Perhaps a fellow Winter..... He looked awesome in a fuschia pink tee with turquoise stripes!
Sounds as though you had a fun time. Love that blue coat too.
Bought some basic vests from GAP today, and I think I may have found some decent glasses but I need to try them on when I'm made up and feeling a bit brighter. Will go wearing make up on Tues for eye test. So hard to get glasses right I think. Have to buy from Boots as I get them half price. The ones I like are Prada....

QueenofCardigans · 06/09/2015 20:32

shop my ds is almost definitely a winter. Same colouring as me and looks fab in bright blue/red etc. also looks good in white.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 06/09/2015 20:33

mara the skirt is A-line, I can't find a link to just the skirt, hate Next website. I actually saw it in store when I was in Wales and wish I'd just bought it!

Dry not leather, would be very cool if it was! Defo try to look at the jumper, though I think it is more coral than the pic shows. But striped ribbed jumpers seem to be around a lot this season.

QueenC how lovely that you are diagnosing your DD, that sounds so fun. Do you think your DH is warm toned and that's where she gets it from?

topaz great to see you and glad the move went well, congratulations on new house!

AmberNectarine · 06/09/2015 20:36

Velvet (the fabric, not the brand) creeps me out QC, so I won't be fantasy buying those boots! Love the dress though.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 06/09/2015 21:09

Dry do you suit polo necks? Another nice stripe jumper here, bit more neutral.

MarshaBrady · 06/09/2015 21:12

Swoon at those Rossis

Congratulations on the new home Topaz

QueenofCardigans · 06/09/2015 21:27

Tbh amber I wasn't sure they were entirely you anyway. How about these instead

QueenofCardigans · 06/09/2015 21:35

these are totally freaky....

Longislandicetee · 06/09/2015 21:49

Evening Voguettes! Back from a fab weekend away though currently ds doesn't want to go to sleep so I am sat by his bed. Keep the links coming Grin. My outfit for the wedding went down well and particularly loved the hat which was a last minute buy.

Dry good luck for tomorrow and to you too Amber for Tuesday. Smile.

Topaz many congratulations on the house move!

I have had a little Outnet order tonight as they have 70% off on dresses.

this McQ Alexander McQueen dress is on its way as is this Heritage dress. I am going to a wedding cocktail do in a few weeks time so thought that might work? While I was browsing I spotted this Michael Kors traveller bag which I want for travelling with the kids. I used the
Michael Kors jet set bag for our last holiday. It was great but just a shade too small. I shall ignore the fact that it might feel like everyone else on the plane has an MK bag too!

Drywhitethanks · 06/09/2015 21:52

Lovely colour QueenC, but are they serious styling it with those terrible shoes? Shock
Blair I do like polo necks but only on very cold days, I wear a black merino when I'm pretending to be a French surrealist Grin........

onemightywizard · 06/09/2015 22:02

those stocking boots are awful, just awful!!!

I'm at my stylish peak right now in harry potter pjs and slippers and a chewbacca dressing gown. don't tell me you all don't want to be me right now Grin i'm waiting for my sedatives to start kicking in so i can climb into bed, my insomnia has reached crisis point so i had to ask for something, i was gievn an old anti histamine which dr said is a sedative and used in treatment of insomnia as i said to him i'd try anything but i wouldn't take zopiclone agian as the way it makes me feel the day after is not worth it

blair ive never been able to work dh out. I held up the rust top to him and it looked yuck. I'd love to work him out as I buy pretty much all his clothes!
dry I know-trainers and zarita do not go!

shopafrolic · 07/09/2015 07:43

Well welcome conscious. Stick around - it's good here.
We seem to be ready for school v early! I must be keen Grin

LinusLovesBretons · 07/09/2015 07:54

Morning!

I've finished doing my drop-offs even though we were nearly late as DS decided he didn't like to put on the red trousers I had laid out for him.

The fact that he's worn them for the last year didn't have any effect on him Hmm He did wear them in the end .....

It was only 9 degrees this morning so I dug out my lovely and soft Hermès scarf. I forgot how warm and cozy it is. My sockless feet were a bit cold but I refuse to wear socks in September!

Have a good day everyone and welcome to conscious!

MarshaBrady · 07/09/2015 08:30

Sounds gorgeous Linus, I really would like a huge cashmere scarf to keep me warm. Saw a really nice Marant one, bit expensive.

I'm having a boot-off still.

Decided to send back the Jimmy Choo bikers as the brown and gold wasn't working for me.

And have ordered two more, one JC one Marant. I better find an everyday AW now.

Will link and update when they get here, making me nervous so many boots on my account in circulation.

AmberNectarine · 07/09/2015 09:29

Dropped both the kiddlies off. House is SO quiet. All I can hear is birdsong!

QC yes those toga trainers are much more me. Can everyone stop linking lovely shoes now though because I have NO SPACE for any more.

blingy I like that MK bag. I have two Jet Sets - I find them useful for work - I don't worry about slinging my laptop and shoes in like I would with a more expensive bag.

My wedding anniversary on Friday - we are having a night out on the town and staying in a hotel (K West near Westfield - am planning on getting there early, doing a spot of shopping and having a glass of champagne). Am wearing this dress but not sure which shoes to wear with it. Also not sure if it'll be tights weather or not. Decisions.
