Our kitchen was newly done when we moved in so I haven't had any 'need' to change it. We'll probably move in the new year or so and I've decided I'm either buying off plan and getting it done to my spec or doing a wreck from scratch. DH seems to be keen to move now we've almost paid off the mortgage and I was getting excited about going on spending sprees so it's probably something I need to start thinking about.

Stokey I haven sized down at all actually - I got my usual jeans size which is fine - unusual for Gap!

Cosy outfit today - hush sweatshirt dress, opaques , JC bikers, whistles biker jacket, tartan scarf and of course the Chanel (which is just the perfect size for me, carries everything I need - hate big bags unless for work).

Tomorrow I am going in search of work dresses. Sigh.

god, i would LOVE a big, new kitchen but no dice here, not unless I gave up the rest of the room space in which the kitchen is housed. the living/sitting/front room and kitchen are int he same room with just a small division between them so to get the kitchen of my dreams i'd have to give up the rest of the space which just wouldn't be practical and then the place would have little to no re sale value anyway if i did

Mara I smiled at your comment of channelling me - you do know my style well: today I am wearing red / white breton, jeans and Finery loafers.

Blair I have only bought shoes from Finery and only kept the recent loafers. I like their packaging too and their delivery and returns seem good. This post is funny.

Evening all,
I've been super healthy this week, gym everyday and eaten well, I'm very proud of myself.
Spent the day in gym clothes, oops.

Love all the shoes.

I don't mind my loubs, but I only get 85mm, I do think a pair have stretched though as my foot really slips in them now.

I hate my kitchen, but it'll be a while till I can change it. We are starting in the extension soon but this is more bedrooms and bathrooms rather than kitchen. I will get my dressing room and gym though!!! Yippee!!

Loving all the kitchen chat. Ours is reasonably small - and we are trying to bring in a washing machine and tumble dryer which are currently housed in an old outhouse which needs knocking down to landscape the back garden.
All our floors are uneven (and the walls). We have an AGA that will stay as it is less than 5 years old.
I would like integrated washing machine, tumble and dishwasher but DH says it will be a lot more expensive and harder to replace if any issues down the line. Would like shaker style, light coloured painted cupboards and drawers with light granite work surfaces but early days. Hoping to get some plans to look at before I go into hospital. No idea on costs. But less than building a new outbuilding outside we hope....

Wearing my Woolovers black crew neck sweater today with GAP skinnies which are too big (so frustrating when jeans stretch), and had my black IM Crisi boots on earlier. DH has lit a fire tonight - what with Strictly and X Factor he is clearly feeling Autumn is officially here.

I have serious kitchen jealousy - I really want to redo our kitchen but H isn't keen...

BTW has anyone owned/been tempted by the Mansur Gavriel bags? The new it bags it seems. Not sure I'm convinced yet although some of the colours look cute.

Yep autumn is definitely here :( :) (good and bad!) The heating is not on here yet but am wearing a snuggly wrap cardi. And I got my pistols out for the first time today - typically they need reheeling right away.

Kitchens don't excite me much, but maybe it's because we couldn't do much with ours as it's not that big. We aren't looking to move for about 10 years either.

I changed into my first Tippi merino jumper of the season to bring DS to a birthday party. I wasn't sure if I could just drop him off so wasn't going to risk my lovely cashmere jumper surrounded by ten 4 year-olds with chocolate cake on their hands.
