Not quite sure how that went so quickly. Continuing the search for stylish bargains. Lurkers welcome - bring links and a smile :)

Lovely shoes MyVegas
stokey and QueenC have brilliant holidays.
liberty I do love my special bags, with bags I do seem to stick to my rule of less is more. Strange.

QueenCardigan · 23/07/2015 08:24

stokey I haven't been able to find a hat that suits so I'm hoping to find one there.

AmberNectarine · 23/07/2015 08:26

I just ignore dry clean only and machine wash everything. So far I have never gone wrong with the hand wash cycle.

Ujjayi · 23/07/2015 08:43

Dry, you can do it! I've been a sucker for cheap tat too but have got better at finding the things I really love. I'm always anxious about a high end purchase but now break it down to predicted cost per wear & find it eases my conscience Smile

Amber, same here with handwash cycles for DCO clothes.

Stokey, QueenC & MVB, good luck with the final packing push!

Ujjayi · 23/07/2015 11:36

More additions on the Outnet clearance. There'll be a few more by tomorrow too - I returned the IM dress and jumper that I ordered Grin as I love the IM dress I bought locally...can't be greedy!

Topazandpearl · 23/07/2015 12:18

Dry I was admiring that bag at the airport the other day, very nice!

I hope all the packing gets sorted and Stokey, Queen and Myvegas have a lovely holiday.

I'm the same with DCO clothes Amber. I used to very gently hand wash a LKB dress until I accidentally bundled it into the machine with other things and it was fine.

I haven't given into sales shopping yet as I had decided to save all my money for decorating the new house, but there is something I have my eye on. Will link when I have decided.

OneLittleLady · 23/07/2015 15:38

just ordered this BAG and this CARDIGAN can't wait for them to arrive. I've also got another bag with a flamingo print coming as well though that one is more bowling back shaped and is a turquoise colour

QueenCardigan · 23/07/2015 17:12

Why do suitcases look big until you start filling them Confused.
I've culled my clothes down to:
4 pairs shorts
2 evening dresses
4 evening tops
6 vests
1 day dress
2 kaftan/cover ups
2 bikinis
1 swimming costume
Flip flops
Pumps (in case go walking in the mountain) not likely

I'll be wearing skirt, vest, hoodie and saltwaters to travel in.
It's probably still too much?

Ujjayi · 23/07/2015 17:26

Great choices One Love the shape of the cardigan.

QueenC what will you wear the evening tops with? Do they go with your shorts? How long are you away for? Do you really need 6 vests? Do you have access to a washing machine? And how many evenings "out" do you think you will go on (I think you're staying in a villa, no?)

Last year, we spent half of our evenings in the villa and so pretty much stayed in cover-up/kaftan. The other nights we were either going straight from beach to dinner or we came home to change first but the island was generally very casual rather than dressed up. So I barely used any of my evening stuff. I'm trying to remember that when I pack this weekend!

Ujjayi · 23/07/2015 17:54

I want to weep. ASOS order is all total pants. Going to have to head to London on Saturday I think.

Ujjayi · 23/07/2015 18:54

Oooh I have some "fashion designer" related gossip...the quotation marks are intentional since surely nobody actually believes this person is an actual bona fide designer. Am wondering if I can risk on thread or better shared off thread?Wink

MarshaBrady · 23/07/2015 19:07

Before you do I'm guessing.

HH or VB naughty

Topazandpearl · 23/07/2015 19:14

I would be cautious Ujjayi, perhaps best not here ????

MarshaBrady · 23/07/2015 19:16

Oh yes say off thread

City mapper just told me to get off at Victoria! Like the use of the !

Blair and I too with you on the strawberries, even worse

MarshaBrady · 23/07/2015 19:18

Stokey sorry! Never be lazy and avoid the scroll back!

MyVegasBaby · 23/07/2015 19:52

Queen I'd say you're packing nice and light and if you won't be changing to go out every night then it's perfect.
I daren't even start mine! Luckily the DC get a full luggage allowance now so there should be plenty of spare KG for me! DH is like the luggage police and starts snooping to see what I'm packing and gets told to clear off! I am taking less this year, determined to only take what I need, honest......

Shame about your ASOS order Ujj, hate it when you have high hopes or need stuff, when do you leave?

Stokey · 23/07/2015 20:43

I love Citymapper, my favourite app.

Good advice about not needing much evening wear Ujj, I took far too much makeup too last year and wore none.

I hope you get your holiday wear sorted, Freya or Hoola bikinis is my advice, although seem to recall Shop did well with Boden.

Your list sounds fine QueenC, if anything I think I've over packed but we were only using 3 of our 4 allocated bags so don't feel too bad.

Have great holidays QueenC, MVB & Ujj. Not sure what our Wi-Fi will be like but may pop in. Taxi booked for 4.15, eeek, so off to bed.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 23/07/2015 21:05

Ooh group PM Ujj? Wink

So jealous of all the holidaying Voguettes, have a great time Stokey, QueenC, Ujj and MyVegas.

Love those buys One, can really see you in them Grin

My Allium B and Me+Em dresses arrived yesterday but I've felt too hot and sticky to try them on yet. Also found out we've been asked not to wear black at the funeral tomorrow - surprisingly hard when all my wardrobe is navy or very bright. I think I'm going to wear a grey dress with something coloured, belt or scarf.

Great bag Dry. I think I'm going to join you on the big purchases this AW, plus a few "fashion" items/accessories. I want a camel coat and a leather biker jacket. I also don't own any flat boots at all. Better start saving!

MyVegasBaby · 23/07/2015 21:09

Happy holidays Stokey!

QueenCardigan · 23/07/2015 21:58

ujjayi I'll wear shorts in the evening (boden chino ones) and denim shorts in the day. My tops for evening aren't anything special-just my usual tops but ones that I wouldn't wear during the day as I don't want to ruin them with suncream. Not sure how much we'll go out as it depends how near we are to bars/restaurants.
stokey have a fab time. We'll be up at the same time on Saturday.

MarshaBrady · 23/07/2015 23:57

Very tipsy, back at Victoria waiting for overground home. Awesome night out.

Stokey we booked a very reasonable afternoon flight and they rescheduled it to 6.30am weeping at our get up time of around 2.30am. Have a great holiday!

QueenCardigan · 24/07/2015 08:26

Hideous rain here today. Gutted as I wanted to take the kids out to wear them out so they go to bed really ready to be woken in the middle of the night. Looks like I'll have to suffer soft play. To cheer myself up im going to do a bit of fantasy shopping....l

QueenCardigan · 24/07/2015 08:28

Anyone for leather flares?

QueenCardigan · 24/07/2015 08:29

QueenCardigan · 24/07/2015 08:30
