Not quite sure how that went so quickly. Continuing the search for stylish bargains. Lurkers welcome - bring links and a smile :)

Thanks Shop and Bernice. have ordered the crew neck cashmere in sulpher in a size 14.

AmberNectarine · 22/07/2015 10:57

Even I have a 12 in my Boden cashmere.

libertychick · 22/07/2015 10:59

Bloody hell Amber if you're a 12 I'll need a size 20!!! not sure I can do that

QueenCardigan · 22/07/2015 11:13

I ordered these jeans yesterday. I took a chance on the 20% discount as I felt these would sell out quickly and they've arrived today and are perfect. Annoyingly though there's 25% off today Hmm.

AmberNectarine · 22/07/2015 18:02

God, are you all, like, working or parenting and stuff?

shopafrolic · 22/07/2015 18:08

This Ganni dress has arrived and I love it but fear it may be a bit bodycon for me - much more fitted on me than on the model - have ordered the XL to try. How weird that my black Ganni dress is a Medium and my red and cream stripe one is a Large. Mad sizing......
The MiH is a definite keeper though - super slouchy (comes up big), good long sleeves and a lovely waffle texture.

Hello,

Just been browsing all the lovely links. Some great bargain-hunting going on.

QueenC jeans look a great shape. Have hardly worn my flares as they need such a high heel but love them.

Marsha love the Ganni. A belated happy birthday for yesterday, hope you had a fab night out. Great Outnet jumper bargain, summer is the best time to get a good price on cold weather stuff.

I too took advantage of the 80% off in clearance to buy some silk pyjamas. Bit of an acquired taste maybe but I'll match dh in his red paisley dressing gown Wink. Won't wear them in bed just as loungewear for an injection of the 1920s glamour that
is missing from my life...

shopafrolic · 22/07/2015 18:09

Not me Amber - actual parenting?! GASP

Love the MiH Shop (and the Equipment one you ordered). Dress is lovely too but as its meant to be bodycon xl may be all wrong on shoulders etc.

shopafrolic · 22/07/2015 18:13

In other good news I have just realised that when I first tried the black Ganni I paid £63 - when I sized down it was down to £50 so that's a result.

shopafrolic · 22/07/2015 18:14

Will try it Mara - free delivery and returns so worth a punt I reckon.....but yes, take your point. Need to stop saying that it's only £27 and just see if I actually like it :)

Looking at the catwalk video it is as tight on me as that - think I may be bit too old to pull it off......

shopafrolic · 22/07/2015 19:17

DH has seen it on and said a resounding keep it ;)

Sounds good shop. You are definitely not too old Smile

Drywhiteplease · 22/07/2015 20:36

Had never heard of Ganni before. Loved your dress on Shop at MU, can absolutely see you in the stripe ignore stupid sizing love Marsha's too.

Stokey · 22/07/2015 21:11

Not too much parenting here but running around sorting pre-holiday stuff. Now collapsed on the sofa watching "Life on Marbs", eye-opening stuff. Skinniest woman I've ever seen has just said she needs a rib removed!

Marsha keep meaning to say I'm so with you on Ocado, their strawberry game sucks too!

Ujjayi · 22/07/2015 21:35

Hi All.

Mara I love those pjs. They will require a champagne coupe or martini glass in order to give the full-on 1920s vibe.

Stokey Life on Marbs sounds fab. Have made mental note to find it on catch up.

Shop well done on the sales bargains. Clearly worth holding out for.

Marsha love the Ganni dress. Can totally see you in it.

I had a total disaster today as the tension on my sewing machine has just gone Angry. Still, at least it happened now and not in the middle of wedding dress mania which I've been stuck in for the last 3 months! Altho that's probably what's knackered it! I had spent the whole afternoon sorting through fabrics, patterns and even drafted a new pattern for a maxi, because I couldn't find exactly what I wanted for my hols so thought I'd bite the bullet and make it all. Gutted as I unearthed a beautiful silk sari I had forgotten about which would have been perfect to use for the maxi. I have a spare machine that I used in college but it isn't much cop. Still, hopefully it will be "good enough" as it's just for me. I couldn't face trying it out tonight so instead I placed an ASOS order (think I may have found my bikini...) and threw in a few dresses just in case the spare machine isn't going to play ball either. I'll link if any of them are keepers. Delivery due tomorrow.

Right, off for wine and snuggles with the DCs. Night all!

QueenCardigan · 22/07/2015 22:03

Gah, I can't see any outnet links for some reason. Was wanting to see the pjs.
mara I always planned on getting flares for a/w as my boots have a slight heel and so they're wearable during the day. As long as its dry they'll get lots of wear.
Like stokey I,m in packing hell. Piles of clothes and stuff everywhere but I won't actually stuff in the suitcase until ive done the last round of washing tomorrow.

MyVegasBaby · 22/07/2015 22:14

Can relate to the pre holiday stress, working up until Friday PM so will have to sort it after that.
Really wish I had enough leave to take a day or half day off before to get sorted but struggle to cover childcare for the holiday weeks I'm working as it is.
I'm having one of those working full time sucks moments- can tell I need a break!

Drywhiteplease · 22/07/2015 23:13

So I'm officially in the fashion desert Hmm. Everything I've ordered lately has gone back Sad. Not at all inspired. Wish I was good at sales shopping. V Envy at all of your great bargains. I'm just rubbish at sales. I'll live.

But.......I may have a plan Grin

You have heard it before.Hmm

I'm going to SAVE my money Shock

I have my eye on a new job handbag.

And maybe after that I might at last just go for it and buy the H bracelet I've been lusting after since last summer's MU.

And.....have decided that I must only buy machine washable clothing for work, just can't do DCO which Is hard for bottoms.

Just thought I'd let you all know Smile

it's been 3years and I'm still trying

My name is Dry and. I'm a hopeless shopaholic, specialising in compulsive mass ordering of cheap tat that invariably gets returned and doesn't make me Smile

Drywhiteplease · 22/07/2015 23:18

Sorry, amateur mistake, forgot to link possible bag purchase red would fit in with everything I have. Red,black, camel, grey and becoming big staples in my wardrobe.

MyVegasBaby · 23/07/2015 06:45

Nice bag Dry. I'm not a bag fan really but do love shoes!
These were both in Grazia when I was at the hairdressers at the weekend animal print and Massimo Dutti lovely shoes if you're starting to think about AW.
Right off to work, 2 more days and then a whole 2 weeks off, hurrah!

libertychick · 23/07/2015 07:14

I hear you dry. I suspect I will return all the stuff I ordered from Uniqlo and M&S the other night - when will I ever learn? Lovely bag I am mentally reliving the Disco and the Nancy

Hang in there myvegas. I would love some time off but no hols now until November for me.

Can't wait for AW to hit the high street. I am so lacking in work wear it's stressful.

QueenCardigan · 23/07/2015 07:57

Lovely bag dry. Very you. Do gap trousers fit you? They can be machine washed although I often get them dry cleaned as they come ban nice and pressed.
vegas saw those MD shoes at the weekend and they are lovely. You may need to size up.

Stokey · 23/07/2015 08:04

Great bag Dry, I think Longchamp's leather bags are excellent value for money.

Less than 24 hrs till we leave here, I need to pop to Accessorize to pick up cover- ups for the Dds this morning and am hoping I can find a hat for myself and maybe some of Novice's layering necklaces.

Good luck with the rest of the packing QueenC, we're nearly there!
