Not quite sure how that went so quickly. Continuing the search for stylish bargains. Lurkers welcome - bring links and a smile :)

One that's a really good idea, I definitely need to do that. I hope I'm not intolerant to anything, as I hate the idea of having to restrict what I eat - but I'm thinking about food way too much at the moment anyway because of my worries. I also worry that I eat too fast. Blush

OneLittleLady · 21/07/2015 16:33

you should do a diary for at least 4 weeks blair and report any symptoms as they happen each day and time. it might give you some idea if there's any food or drink causing the issue. i hope you aren't intolerant as well as it can be major PITA but keeping the diary will help try and eliminate anything that could be causing the problem. fingers crossed it helps eliminate things

QueenCardigan · 21/07/2015 17:23

blair do you like peppermint? Tea or capsules can help with bloating/uncomfortableness. I went through a stage of constantly blowing up and being in agony and it's pretty much settled now and only very occasionally will happen. I read lots some stuff about ibs and one thought is that you can be sensitive to something but if you're not stressed or it's not combined with any other foods that you're sensitive too then you can eat it fine. But with added factors that food stuff can set off an attack if that makes sense.

Happy birthday marsha Flowers Cake Wine

stokey/vegas I will look properly at your lists later. I'm 2 weeks in a villa and I think I'll just take as much as I can fit in the cases. I know I'll have to do some washing as none of us own 14 pairs of pants but I don't want to be doing loads. I envisage pretty much living in bikini/denim shorts/vest/kaftan during the day. I've currently got piles of clothes for myself and dc as ive washed stuff but need to go through things properly.

MarshaBrady · 21/07/2015 19:16

I'm on my way out in the Ganni dress, so I guess I'm keeping it!

Back later to look at links.

Thanks for birthday wishes Smile

shopafrolic · 21/07/2015 19:22

Love those sort of decisions Marsha! Have fun.

QueenC I have mint tea sometimes and have been thinking I should try to have a cup every afternoon as I know it helps. I just had dinner, and slumped on the sofa I look pregnant! (When I wake up my stomach is flat!)

Defo going to do the food diary.

Stokey · 21/07/2015 20:38

Thanks for the shorts tips. We're leaving at some Godforsaken hour of the morning on Friday so don't think I've got time for a delivery but may pop into Gap on Thursday. What size are yours MyVegas? I'll have the DC with me so won't be able to try on but will just take a punt.

Hope you feel better Blair, food diary sounds like a good plan.

MyVegasBaby · 21/07/2015 21:17

Stokey my shorts are a 4R so a Gap 8. I'm normally a 10 elsewhere but these are typical Gap generous sizing and they are comfortable and not tight - so hopefully they will still fit me the second week of the holiday!
Queen my list is far too long but it's the first time I've tried stuff on and am only taking what's on the list as it all matches as opposed to my usual randomly throwing stuff in my case! HVe just checked and I have 7 night time dresses on it!

Drywhiteplease · 21/07/2015 22:21

Hope you're having a great time Marsha, which Ganni dress did you get? missed that

Visitors are here. House is spotless. Wish the bloody sun would make an appearance.

libertychick · 22/07/2015 07:59

Any sun today dry?

Nice day here. OOTD is Other Stories navy midi skirt, off white scoop neck t, cream Mango cropped jacket. Tan belt and sandals (matchy bliss). Coral Jaeger tote. Sunnies, pearl earrings, long gold tone Accessories necklace.

Did a Uniqlo and M&S order last night. Will link if any good. Some nice prints on tanks and tshirts in Uniqlo ATM.

Sending good day vibes to all Smile

Drywhiteplease · 22/07/2015 08:24

No sunshine here liberty but at least it's not raining. hate it when Londoners visit and weather is crap .
Spent 1/2 hr with my DSIl trying to start DHs car he's away, need 2 cars gave up, planned train journeys. 16 yr old Ds gets in does itcstraight away Hmm

AmberNectarine · 22/07/2015 08:45

Morning all.

OOTD is this tee, black Baxters and silver espadrilles. Not exciting but I'm on parenting duty, so what can you do?

Need to think about this wedding on Saturday - have a choice of the yellow DVF Zarita, the pink snake print DVF wrap or the flamingo full midi skirt with a pink cami and cardigan. And then there is the shoe issue. Sigh!

AmberNectarine · 22/07/2015 08:47

In other news I ordered this lamp which I have had my eye on for a while.

MarshaBrady · 22/07/2015 08:48

Dry this is the Ganni dress. I like the thick material. Bit short on me for work but fine otherwise.

Lib I want your sunshine too, cloudy today.

Love the Equipment jumper Shop, great when you wait and get a huge discount.

I ordered a Madeleine Thompson cashmere jumper from outnet clearance, grey with stripes, as I really need new jumpers in AW and find them far too ££ usually. Will find link.

MarshaBrady · 22/07/2015 08:49

Great lamp, love the pineapple.

QueenCardigan · 22/07/2015 09:06

Lovely dress marsha, can really see you in that.
amber does dh share your love of pineapples? Great lamp but my dh would be Hmm at it.

MarshaBrady · 22/07/2015 09:13

This is the Madeleine T jumper. Because 80% off cashmere is music to my ears. Worth a try. Will see it if works with pale grey skinnies.

libertychick · 22/07/2015 09:17

Good jumper buying Marsha and shop. I am dithering over a Boden one. Find it hard to buy cashmere when it's warm out.

Sun is ducking and diving between clouds here.

MarshaBrady · 22/07/2015 09:35

Here too. I know what you mean about the jumper buying in summer.

My jumper situation is a bit dire however!

shopafrolic · 22/07/2015 10:14

LOVE that cashmere Marsha - knew you'd love the 80% - it was like they did it as a birthday gift after all the times we've moaned before :)

Meant to say Lib it was a nice start to the morning getting good day vibes from you :) Especially after the last few days of crap. Will respond to your text today x

Shop your post was perfect timing, had that cold sweat moment of acting quickly.

Hope things are feeling better today too x

libertychick · 22/07/2015 10:26

Shop what's sizing like on your Boden sweaters? Keep distracting myself from editing a v boring report by looking at them. may as well just order and then I can concentrate maybe Smile

shopafrolic · 22/07/2015 10:29

I have the pink cashmere crew neck and wear a Uk14. Am a medium / 12 but don't like too fitted.....

BerniceBobsHerHair · 22/07/2015 10:47

Just thought I would add my two penny in Lib and say that I find Boden knitwear quite neat in the sizing. I also have 14 and would usually go for 12 in most tops.
