So glad I'm home in the sun reading Peter Carey while the dc play. Beats being anywhere else right now ie work Out tonight, Thursday and Saturday. Feels like a week off work to laze around and celebrate. Definitely going to remember this as the way to do it.

Could do a last minute order tomorrow on premium delivery for Thursday.

Gosh am in a bit of a quandry as to how much to take on holiday. We're going for 2 weeks and it's going to be hot. One week in hotels by the beach and one week in villa. So far I have :
3 bikinis
3 beach cover ups
4 day dresses (3 of which would be OK at night)
Denim shorts, knee length skirt & maxi skirt
5 tops - 2 shirts, 2 Tees and one boho peasant type
2 dresses - 1 midi, 1 knee length for evening and 1 jumpsuit that I've never worn.
Oh and flip flops, Gigi's and Sam E Trina's.

I think I've got too much, help!

Stokey I have far more, but I'm terrible and always overpack! We are away for 2 weeks too in a small apartment complex with a pool in a small resort. Days will be beach or pool and walks to the harbour for lunches some days. Evenings will be drinks and dinner at local tavernas. I have tried to be organised and have written a list as packing really stresses me out.
I have 4 bikinis, 1 swimsuit, 3 kaftan type things, 2 day dresses, denim shorts and a multitude of vest/bandeau tops for the day.
For evening I too have a jumpsuit I've never worn (!), 5 dresses, black chino shorts, one pair of cropped jeans and 3 tops. Oh and far too many sandals! Luckily the DC won't need all of their luggage allowance

Just ordered - another one I've been lusting after for a long long time.

That makes me feel better MyVegas.

Let's both try and wear the jumpsuits and compare notes on return . Mine was given to me a year ago and still has tags on so needs to be worn or chucked.

Black chino shorts is what my holiday wardrobe is missing I think, otherwise I'm quite coordinated this year in mainly black, white, navy with a touch of green and red.

My DC are still small so we will be mainly eating in at night but there is some kids entertainment at the hotels.

Stoked I can thoroughly recommend the Boden Chino shorts. When are you off as they deliver pretty quickly, even on a Saturday.

The black shorts for evening are a new venture for me this year, I got mine from Gap and delivery was very quick Gap Shorts have got / very bright tops and a black lace type vest as options for on top.
I normally take lots of cropped jeans and then get hot and bothered so have gone for shorts, dresses or the jumpsuit this year.

I got some black chino shorts from H&M for £7.99. They are SHORT though, not for the faint hearted!

I've just been out to lunch at Cote and yet eaten NO carbs today... But still feel horribly bloated and uncomfortable. I gave in yesterday and spent £30 on a load of probiotics, I hope they help me because I'm sure there's something up with my insides . (STILL NOT PREGNANT THOUGH! )

Stokey that sounds like a really good amount for 2 weeks to me! My holiday isn't for 4.5 weeks but I might start doing a list.

Urgh. Had a good mooch around Monsoon/Accessorize and TK Maxx and neither had anything remotely okay in store. DS is being brilliantly patient with me - although I had just sat through Ant Man as a pre-shop reward!

Off to trawl the Outnet, ASOS and Monsoon online.

blair do you or could you be suffering with a bout of IBS? is there anything in particular you can think that you've eaten or had to drink that could be triggering it? i get very similar symptoms and i do have IBS as well as sensitivity to both gluten and lactose. Onions and anything in that family are a big trigger for me and leave me with major bloating and cramps among other things. perhaps keep a food diary and see if there's any patterns to the issue? just a thought

I bought a couple of long tight vests to wear under my new harry potter crop top. No one needs to actually see my stomach but I'll be happy enough wearing it with a longer vest underneath, I think even if i was all toned and everything, i'd still be self conscious about showing my body off
