Not quite sure how that went so quickly. Continuing the search for stylish bargains. Lurkers welcome - bring links and a smile :)

Shop - love your JCrew haul. I'm going to have a good look on the site later.

Marsha - I think too worky with the Max Mara dresses but love Dry's suggestion of the DVF Carrie dress. I think that would look fab on you.

One sorry you're having a bad day with pain. Hope all is going well with DSis moving in though.

QueenC - I'm attempting to pack this week too. My least favourite part of holiday prep. In theory it should make you excited for the trip. In reality I find it stressful.

I went bikini shopping today (with youngest DS in tow - that was fun!) No results for bikini yet but I did find a gorgeous pair of Marant Leo-alikes in Zara. So not an entirely wasteful day...although they will be less useful in the pool... Grin

Ujjayi · 20/07/2015 20:55

Ohh....Definitely the Vince dress Marsha!

Now, Dry, any chance you can find me an entire holiday wardrobe that can all be ordered and delivered by next Monday?!

MarshaBrady · 20/07/2015 21:29

Brilliant thanks for all the links!

Dry I love the Carrie ones, but think they are all out in my size, will check again.

Stokey love the blue silk, I'd like to go in store to try on stuff there to check sizing. Wonder if I can drag the dc to Regent St. Oh yeah I do have a Hamleys voucher to spend I can bribe them with.

Love the Vince too, but not my size either damnit.

Ujj how exciting about wardrobe packing, where are you going? (don't say if you don't want to!)

MarshaBrady · 20/07/2015 21:29

And Shop Shop you are brill! going to have a look now

MarshaBrady · 20/07/2015 21:41

Topaz it must be hard, hope it's ok Thanks

maradesbois · 20/07/2015 21:48

Marsha a few more ideas:

Equipment floral love the print but not sure about length

Sonia Rykiel has funny ruffle detail on front but linked anyway as nice shape, colour and good price

Richard Nicoll gingham

Etro love this

MarshaBrady · 20/07/2015 22:02

Love those Mara

The Equipment would be ace if a bit shorter, but still perhaps I shouldn't dismiss it.

And the Nicholl gingham is in the basket, what does everyone think about the gingham? Too short?

shopafrolic · 20/07/2015 22:37

I nearly Pinned the Equipment but thought the length was off. Love the gingham but may be too short if it is work entertaining?
Love the Vince one

Hmm it's different but reminds me too much of school uniform sorry. Great shape though.

Really wish shops could take styles that have sold out off or put a great "sold out" sign on the pictures in stead of getting your hopes up.

Drywhiteplease · 20/07/2015 22:42

ujj what are you looking for? I'd go bonkers on ASOS, they are fast at delivering.

MarshaBrady · 20/07/2015 22:46

Not work but birthday celebrating Smile. Worried the top part will be too big as borderline on model. And prefer a bit longer. But maybe worth a go.

MarshaBrady · 20/07/2015 22:46

Yeh good point Dry

MyVegasBaby · 20/07/2015 22:58

What do you need UJJ?
We are going away at the weekend and I had a huge clearly of holiday clothes this year so have had to buy quite a bit to replace things. No idea of your style, colouring etc or if any will be any good.
I bought these in the Monsoon sale today really pleased with both kaftan
bikini. I'm not normally a huge fan of Monsoon but they had some nice bits.
Have also got a few dresses from ASOS and Hush that were delivered very quickly as were some shorts from Gap. I think if you ordered today/tomorrow you'd be OK, ASOS stuff comes next day if you have. VIP account, if not worth it for £10 for a year.

Drywhiteplease · 20/07/2015 22:58

Sorry M

Ujjayi · 20/07/2015 23:52

I need:

  • Bandeau style bikini (pref strong colour or bold print - can't do small prints)
  • Maxi for evening wafting around Grin - day dress for sightseeing
  • beach cover up/kaftan

Got to be cotton, silk, bamboo or viscose/rayon. No polyester. Style-wise: bohemian, love Matthew Williamson, Antik Batik, Isabel Marant but don't want to spend a lot as I can't justify on a cost per wear basis. Dresses need to have that "throw on", easy to wear quality & happy to have thin straps thanks to minimal boobage Wink.

Will take a look at ASOS but welcome all suggestions Smile

MyVegasBaby · 21/07/2015 07:13

AmberNectarine · 21/07/2015 07:48

Ujjayi · 21/07/2015 07:50

BerniceBobsHerHair · 21/07/2015 08:43

This is quite cute Ujjayi

Not sure it fits your brief though - maybe as a beach cover up?

I actually really like that Richard Nicoll dress - love the 2 different colours of gingham.

BerniceBobsHerHair · 21/07/2015 08:44

Cake for Marsha

Topazandpearl · 21/07/2015 09:12

Have a great day Marsha Cake [fizz]

Ujj I've bought a Hoola bikini this year and a Seafolly kaftan - not the cheapest but I'll feel fab wafting around the beach.

I've got a J-Crew maxi skirt from last year that I'll be wearing on the plane.
