Not quite sure how that went so quickly. Continuing the search for stylish bargains. Lurkers welcome - bring links and a smile :)

Sod flowers, I deserve a medal Wink

More power to those of you drinking again today. There's no way I can go near alcohol (though I suspect I may have consumed a tad more, ahem). Have just got into bed - I am SO HAPPY:

MyVegasBaby · 20/07/2015 07:12

Morning,
Hope those who had hangovers yesterday are getting that great feeling you get when you wake up without one the next day!
I posted this on the main S&B board but thought I'd ask here too, do you or have any if you had a spray tan before going on holiday and if you looked after it properly did it just fade as you tanned or did it go patchy and you went home whiter than you started?

MarshaBrady · 20/07/2015 09:33

Not sure Myvegas

At home today, very nice.

How's everyone feeling? I feel better than yesterday. We went to a 'country fair' and it was very loud, but at least dc went on a child's roller coaster without having to brave a real fun park.

Topazandpearl · 20/07/2015 10:12

Have never done the spray tan Myvegas so can't advise but would have thought if you moisturise loads it wouldn't go patchy.

I was going to suggest a medal Amber but then I thought that I would prefer Flowers. Actually you deserve both Grin. Hope you are feeling better today.

I will be leaving DPs later to head home, with mixed feelings. DM is much better but DF's condition is worsening. It is so sad to see and DM has a hard job dealing with him. He is very independent, though, and won't accept any outside help. I am looking forward to being home, though (and I will get to do some airport people-watching on my way).

The fun-park days are ahead of you Marsha but it is best to keep them at bay for as long as possible!

OneLittleLady · 20/07/2015 10:49

argh! receive important phone call and within a minute the cat was scratching and howling at the door. This, this is what happens when you end up with an attention seeking pedigree mix animal. Much as I love her, she's a real PITA sometimes

no fashion news to report, slobbing out in slim cut black trousers with tiny white dots on and a white batman tee before I have to go pick some stuff up i need to be getting on with something. then Dsis is coming to start the slog of moving her stuff in. busy day I fear

maradesbois · 20/07/2015 11:38

Topaz sorry about df but glad your dm is lots better. Must be difficult that they're a plane ride away too.

One good luck for living with dsis.

MyVegas I had one once and it was a patchy orange disaster but I am very pale and fare a lot better with the daily moisturiser ones but haven't even done that this year.

Marsha enjoy your week off and time with the dc, btw am so with you on theme parks. Luckily have a dsis with no dc and love of rides who's promised to take all her dn on whatever they want when they're older!

Slow start today, slept about 9 hours last night, was fab and finally feel like Saturday's prosecco is out of my system. Ootd is denim shorts with AV long sleeved yellow tee and stans for trip to B&Q which will be hell and then nursery to choose plants which will be nice.

QueenCardigan · 20/07/2015 11:53

topaz it's so difficult isn't it? My fil was worsening but a stubborn independent thing refusing help. He's so bad now though that they've got a live in carer as well as night carers and it is so much easier for my mil now.

no fashion news here. I'll be in a style wilderness all week as things will start being packed once they're clean rather than put in the wardobe. Poor kids will be in trousers and long sleeves by friday.

OneLittleLady · 20/07/2015 13:04

topaz i'm glad to hear you Dm is doing better but sorry to hear about your DF, it must be so hard for you all especially if he is refusing any extra help. I hope he can come round to the idea that outside help isn't a bad thing and might give him the independence he craves. I hope there's a happy resolution for you all Thanks

today is a very bad pain day. i'm exhausted after doing the less than five minute to and from the corner shop. going to have a nap i think and then do a little wardrobe clearing i think. Dp says he will take any bags for the charity shop this coming weekend when he's hear so trying to get as much cleared out at once as i can. i've been very good at not refilling the spaces apart from with good things that i actually need

Love that Shop and well played. I really want to get something, no idea what though.

I need a dress for going out this week, a couple of times.

If I don't get one I'll be in tshirt-land again. Rossis are nice, but working up and getting more casual as it goes higher is ok standing but sitting at a table for dinner means I'm just in a tshirt like any day.

I need to resolve this.

Max Mara Studio too dull and worky?

S Max Mara too dull?

MarshaBrady · 20/07/2015 19:17

They're not great are they. I can't find anything.

Get this colour M,fab

Stokey · 20/07/2015 20:42

Great buys Shop, cab really see you in the MIH jumper.

Have you tried & Other Stories Marsha? They've got good dresses including some in silk like this blue one.

Sorry to hear about your father Topaz, ageing parents are very tough. Hope you're feeling a bit better too One.

I've started packing too QueenC, not sure how much I need for 2 weeks. I feel like I don't have enough bottoms but then think I normally end up just in dresses.

Drywhiteplease · 20/07/2015 20:43

is this you?
