Ha yeh, noted Grin

BrandyAlexander · 19/07/2015 11:29

Morning! I deserve a bloody halo!!! According to dh I passed out in bed at about 10pm. I was in the kitchen at 7.30am knocking out pancakes then took the kids to church. It's been so long since I did it that I had forgotten that God makes sure it hurt even more if you go to church with a hangover! Grin.

I might be the final round up, so here goes.....

What I loved most was just fantastic conversations with fantastic people. On reflection we just talked about so many things, including...clothes, bling, the hot older chick that Shop was trying to hit on Wink, sex, boobs, matching underwear, men and their middle aged crisis, new jobs, shit things life throw at you, health, how money is divided in the household, my current lost list Grin, affairs, secrets from husbands...oh and very rarely...... the dcs! A proper proper girlie day. Loved it!

On the style side....

Marsha's hair looks great. So foxy and bohemian. Loved her floral skirt and lovely pale blue shoes and how she just so casually chucks a grey tee on. I find it inspiring.
Shop, her hair is looking fabulous, much softer now it's gone past the in between stage, and absolutely loved her dress. Just so stylish.
Dry, Hobbs body con dress looked amazing on her. A little loose, not tight, just perfect. Her hair as always, I just want to stroke.
Mara, omg, lovely lovely equipment floral dress. All loose and casual and she looked beautiful.
Sleep what can I say? Great boobs as always Grin (please don't tell dh I always say that he might begin to wonder about me!Wink). Loved the top, where is it from? I also have to confess that it was you who inspired me to get my fabulous holiday layered necklaces from Accessorize.
Stokey, absolutely loved meeting her. Great person, really pretty. Oh and I loved the bracelet. Please can you send me a link to it?
Amber, also loved loved meeting her properly. Loved her whole outfit, risqué and chic.
And finally QueenC, the hair looks fab! Don't think I had properly thought that from the photos I see of you. Also that jigsaw bag is absolutely gorgeous!

Phew! Need a lie down now!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 19/07/2015 14:47

Hello all. I'm feeling better today. Dry and Marsha can't believe you thought I was just hungover! Grin I'm in trouble if that's all it was, I may as well never drink again! But not pregnant either. Funny you should mention ABs as tbh I've not felt "right" since I came off the ones I was on for 4 months and also stopped taking the probiotics (they were too expensive really).

shop how awful for you and your family, I hope it all gets sorted soon and it's good that you got him arrested. Hugs.

Ujjayi your Marant sales buys sound great, you describe them so well. I too have been enjoying your OOTD pins.

Hope the party goes well Amber.

Ujjayi · 19/07/2015 14:53

Glad you're feeling better Blair.

I've just sorted thru my holiday clothes & I hate about 95% of it, loads of it is now too big or too worn or no longer my styleConfused We leave on 29th. Not really got much time to shop & even less time to make anything.

MarshaBrady · 19/07/2015 14:57

Blair darn my post is missing an important word. Should be I thought ill but.. I definitely thought you are ill. Hope you feel better soon

AmberNectarine · 19/07/2015 15:59

Well that was obscene.

BerniceBobsHerHair · 19/07/2015 16:58

Sounds like you all had a great time at the MU.

Shop sounds scary, glad the police were able to deal with it swiftly. On another note, I didn't realise you were still growing your hair. From all accounts sounds like it is looking fab.

QueenC like the sound of navy with pink nails.

Ujjayi nice to 'see' you back _ I've also been enjoying your OOTD pins. Great sales shopping and Marant bargains.

Linus it's been said already but no way are you frumpy. V classy and chic I would say.

Blair glad you are feeling better and the morning sickness has passed Grin Shame you couldn't make the MU.

Lib how is your time away going, is it a week or weekend?

Amber hope you can have a well earned rest now!

Drywhiteplease · 19/07/2015 18:03

Well done for getting through it Amber

Righto....DH off the the U.S. tomorrow has told me to give him a list. Scary/exciting prospect. Has to be specific, he's useless at buying me any fashion stuff and psychologically scarred from previous attempts.
Any ideas?

Fedupnagging · 19/07/2015 18:23

Hey ujj welcome back - wondered where you had got to.

Blair pleased you are feeling better thought you might be pregnant too

Shop what a nightmare.

Linus you are most definitely not frumpy - I met you in rl last July MU and you are really stylish.

Topaz love your ootd - blues and Bretons are a fave of mine.

And finally, the MU round ups - LOVE 'EM! Sounds like you all had such a fantastic time and looked fabulous dahlings. (Sleep when are you coming back to the thread?)

shopafrolic · 19/07/2015 18:28

Dry I would get Goldsign Lures in a 29 and post them to me (joke)
Anything you fancy from Madewell or J Crew? So much cheaper there.
Dickhead bloke denied all knowledge and has been released without charge. Angry

OP posts:
QueenCardigan · 19/07/2015 18:45

What a bastard shop. Is there no cctv anywhere on the road to prove it although presumably police have already checked.

I realised in my round up that I forgot the lovely stokey. I love your style, just so easy and funky. And gorgeous hair.

I survived my day just but looking forward to my bed later.

Drywhiteplease · 19/07/2015 18:45

No way Shop Shock

QueenCardigan · 19/07/2015 18:46

dry as shop said, madewell, j crew or American brand handbags? I like modcloth but probably not your style. Tiffanys?

AmberNectarine · 19/07/2015 18:54

This has been the longest day of my life. My Elsa act was interspersed with vomit breaks. It was hideous but DD had SUCH a wonderful day so it was all worth it. Party went without incident and all the planning paid off :)

Tonight I shall be laying on the sofa staring into the middle distance.

AmberNectarine · 19/07/2015 18:55

dry nice things from Sephora and Bobbi Brown. Maybe some premium denim? Sam Edelman shoes?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 19/07/2015 19:05

Amber oh dear! That sounds horrendous but glad the party itself went well.

Marsha hehe, pregnancy suspicions are far more worrying Grin

shop that is unbelievable, so sorry to hear it. Does that mean your house insurance premiums will rise?

That's tricky Dry. Agree re handbags or anything from US brands, can you do a pinboard and give him a link? US shop assistants are so helpful, if he can show them a pic/link to an item that might be a safe way for him to get you things. Tippi jumpers etc. I love J crew pencil skirts so you might too?

maradesbois · 19/07/2015 20:28

Evening,

Topaz thanks for your message yesterday, missed you at the mu and hope you can make the next one. Good packing skills btw, can't go wrong with navy and white.

Shop oh no what a shitty thing to do, can't believe they couldn't hold him either. Flowers for you.

Dry judging by your VW bag tale yesterday your dh needs strict instructions re gifts! Agree look at US brands like J Crew, Madewell, Kate Spade that are so much cheaper over there.

Amber congrats on surviving the party and glad your dd had a wonderful time.

Ujj welcome back! Saw your Marant ootd, gorgeous.

Blair glad you're feeling better, we did have a discussion yesterday about how we didn't want you to be offended and think you weren't wanted but that you really sounded far too ill to come and should stay at home in bed.

Felt amazingly chipper this morning & even made it to church like Novice for first time in ages. Prosecco bloat was there though and refused the champagne dh wanted to open for lunch guests. Relaxing now with tea and papers, so nice to be in the same house as dh on a Sunday night even though we're both on our respective screens.

libertychick · 19/07/2015 20:45

Oh exciting Dry. Do a J Crew list for him to hand over to a SA!

Shop that's outrageous. Angry for you.

Well done for hanging in there Amber.

Bernice it's just a weekend away, we travel home tomorrow and unfortunately have to leave early as I am so busy with work so can't do a leisurely drive home. Marsha day 2 has been good, lovely weather and DD has been well behaved. Yesterday she was like 4 going on 14 for some reason Confused.

Loved all the round ups especially novice's with the account of the chat. Definitely need another one soon.

QueenC love both the dress and bag you linked for me.

Anyone see Pandora Sykes article in ST Style today about her uncomfortable Celine shoes?? Made me laugh!

Stokey · 19/07/2015 20:57

Gosh Amber well done for going through with the Elsa act, your DD must have had a lovely day.
Great round-ups everyone (and thanks for remembering me QueenC) it is amazing how easily the conversation flowed. Novice here is a link for the Hipanema bracelet, I could only find mine on the US site but it's in the sale Wink. Lots of lovely ones on the UK site too, could line up a few presents quite easily.

I went to a children's birthday picnic in the park this afternoon and was handed a glass of Prosecco. I nearly said No but I didn't

What about Coach Dry? Nice structured bags for you.

BerniceBobsHerHair · 19/07/2015 21:14

Cool bracelet Stokey

Topaz I meant to say I love that breton you posted - is it from mih?

BerniceBobsHerHair · 19/07/2015 21:15

Oooh Dry I have nothing helpful to add, but am envious. Love the look of most J Crew and Madewell stuff.

Okay, last post from me.

BerniceBobsHerHair · 19/07/2015 21:16

Sorry I lied - how are the massimo dutti shoes QueenC ?

QueenCardigan · 19/07/2015 21:33

I love them bernice. They're much more pointy than I would normally do (although when shop saw them she said they're not pointy!) but the pink and suede softens them if that makes sense. Can't wait to wear them- will do nights out with all black or all navy outfit and during the day with jeans. Can't see me wearing them much in the next 6 weeks though- they're not really chasing kids round the park shoes!

shopafrolic · 19/07/2015 22:23

I would say they are almond toe
Yes Dry Coach would be good for you
Stokey I hit the wine again today too (so angry I needed to drink*
Blair premiums will Defo go up. We don't seem to have much luck here. I promise I do live in a nice area...... Night all

OP posts:
Topazandpearl · 19/07/2015 22:25

That is definitely above and beyond the call of duty Amber. You definitely deserve Flowers.

Agree re the CCTV shop but unless it shows it happening, it could be just circumstantial. How infuriating though.

Yes, Bernice the Breton is MIH. I got it in a pre season sale over a year ago and I wear it quite a bit. It was cool here today so it was just right.

Dry I would print out a list for Sephora or, something from Coach as Stokey said. I am always reluctant to ask for clothes in case the size isn't quite right.

Glad you are feeling better Blair. Bet you didn't expect to stir up so much speculation!
