Morning all. Last night in the middle of he might I was woken by a couple arguing on the street. Next thing I know the guy had kicked in our front window. Called 999, police were awesome and arrested him based on my description. Had to wait till 4am for emergency repairer to block off the gaping hole. Not how I wanted my fabulous day to finish Some people in our village ruin it for everyone.

OMG Shop how terrifying, glad they were arrested but not great you had to wait up till 4am, hope you have an easy day planned today.

QueenC those mary-jane style Ferragamo pumps are stunning. I'm looking for shoes at the moment. What I really want are the Marant Leo's but the world has shopped & it appears there are no more left . I've tried variations on the theme but they just won't do.

Anyone had any sales success? I have been very restrained & only bought/kept things that I truly love instead of being swayed by the fact it's a bargain. I bought the Marant Tacoma dress for an absolute steal (£150 down from £455). It's a crochet knit & has the most fab & flattering shoulder detail. Wore it on friday with bare legs & flat sandals & it's perfect. I felt trés Parisienne Will also work with heels & opaques come cooler weather. I also bought a fab pair of slim fit khaki trousers also by Marant. They are linen blend with a raw/fringed hem & are proper ankle grazers. When you have been "blessed" with sturdy ankles, mid-calf crops posing as ankle grazers are not your friend. Can't find them anywhere online but will Pin a photo later. Also have an Outnet parcel waiting to be opened containing a Marant jumper & dress (have you spotted a theme yet?!). But I've been so busy this week I've had no time to open it. From the high street: Boho-esque black Dress from Zara with flouncy & full sleeves & gold beading & embroidery at the waist (it's in my Outfit of the Day pins). A bit too warm for now but will be perfect for autumn.

My OOTD will be my Paige Hoxton Shelbys with either my Breton or silk top. I will also wear my Clarks navy and white flats. ( I am away - with hand luggage only - so choice is restricted. I have gone for a navy base this time which is working well, although I wonder if people think I am wearing the same clothes all the time!)

Well, I got home at 2.45 and feel as good as I deserve after 12+ hrs of drinking .

Must now gird my loins for the onslaught of 25 3/4yos

Topaz they will think you are incredibly chic & will be in awe of how "put together" you are. Packing around a base colour is a great idea.

Just managed a snooze on the sofa whilst little one watched about 1000 episodes of topsy and tim and the elders played minecraft. I'm such a role model . Just about to make a picnic to head off to the beach to pick up dh after a 70 mile bike ride!
