dh usually buys me a bottle for xmas, I have chanel mademoiselle, Ralph lauren romance and shalimar but I have no idea what to get this year, had a smell of the new D&G the one?? but that reminded me of a calvin klein fragrance.

Would you trust your DH/DP to make their own judgement and buy a bottle or do you always tell them which one you would prefer.

has anyone tried any of the Roberto Cavelli??? perfumes

I think you should have different ones for daytime and evening. I have the CK Summer one that ndp mentioned but only use it in the summer. I do sort of see Cod's point and try not to have too many different ones.. I also like the Paul Smith one but wear that in the evening.

now i get freebies from chanel and there are new No.5 bath and body special edition bottles due out (could be out now infact) but I've not had a whiff of No.5 think i need a trip to boots for snifter round the counters

I asked for a specific one 2 years ago as I smelt it & it was lovely. Last year my friend just picked one for me & that was also lovely.

My favourites at the moment are Hugo Boss Deep Red, the pink Armani City Glam, Armani Remix & Hugo Boss Pure Purple. Don't like perfumes that smell tooo flowery!
