dh usually buys me a bottle for xmas, I have chanel mademoiselle, Ralph lauren romance and shalimar but I have no idea what to get this year, had a smell of the new D&G the one?? but that reminded me of a calvin klein fragrance.

Would you trust your DH/DP to make their own judgement and buy a bottle or do you always tell them which one you would prefer.

has anyone tried any of the Roberto Cavelli??? perfumes

I'm "funny" with perfumes; can't linger in the perfume section of a department store else I get a headache and mild nausea. dh bought me Bright Crystals by Versace recently as a little suprise gift and despite severe misgivings I actually really like it. Have bought Davidoff Game for him for christmas.

Clarins Eau Dynamisnate during the winter months
Clarins Eau Ressourcante during the summer

I also love Jo Malone (esp. Lime Basil and Mandarin) but always get compliments when I wear the Clarins stuff, so tend to stick to them

Has anyone had a whiff of Marc Jacobs for Men?? if so is it nice?

sammac · 20/11/2006 18:33

Spykid, I am in complete agreement with your choices. Am wearing Be delicious right now.

All time favourite is Lauren by Ralph Lauren which has been impossible to get here for years, and I think has been discontinued. Luckily I have a wee supply stashed away

This season, I am mostly wearing Max Mara

but I also have my eye on Flowerbomb, Etro Patchouly (my inner hippy makes a vague effort to surface now and then) and in the summer I always go back to O de Lancome (it's just so lemony)

I am always searching for that elusive perfect perfume!!
