I love that bag too Lib, I saw a Lanvin one the other day that I loved, a new one to add to the list.

MarshaBrady · 18/06/2015 11:55

Mara I know! I think you'll have more stuff. I've got away with it so far but one day I might need to take my laptop.

OneLittleLady · 18/06/2015 12:23

i wore body shop oceanus as a teen as i didn't like most of the fruity ones. they've stopped making it now but just before they did, Ds with help from my mum, got me a tiny little bottle of it as a perfume oil. it's one of my most treasured possessions

mazj4cks · 18/06/2015 12:43

Haha Grin it feels nice to feel young again!!
amber I had Tommy girl when I was a teen. I also used to use the body sprays, think it was, Charlie red!!? And any impulse too! Grin
Ck1 reminds me of my sister and old spice reminds me of my dad!!

mazj4cks · 18/06/2015 12:45

shop we'll have to arrange a get together. Whenever dh is in the country...he's away loads with the new job role! Boo!Sad
Although every time he goes away he asks if there's any duty free I want (makeup springs to mind every time!) ..so every cloud and all that!

MarshaBrady · 18/06/2015 13:22

Oh yes to the Impulse! We took the decision on which one seriously Grin

mazj4cks · 18/06/2015 13:29

On another non "scented" note Grin

Love this look. I'm not too keen on "big" splits on skirts (on me) though, only because I'm so conscious of my legs!

Still waiting for my Asos delivery too. Envy desperate to try the stans and dungarees on!

shopafrolic · 18/06/2015 13:45

I like that Maz although apparently I am best suited to mini or maxi and nothing in between (not sure I can stick to that rule TBH).
YY to a catch up with DH's and kids. PM me - August is looking ok at the moment......

I have solved my t-shirt issue with these bad boys. Brilliant Winter colours (perfect match for my swatch book). Lovely and soft and a good fit. Phew!

One I was having a bit of a clearout the other day and found a barely used spray bottle of Oceanus! It's yours if you want it! I can bring it to the MU, or post it if you aren't sure if you can make it? Then the oil your DS got you can last a bit longer :)

I've never been one for perfumes really, but do wear Coco Mademoiselle sometimes. When I was younger I loved Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet and still have a massive bottle an ex got me when I was 18. I've never really owned any others.

Topshop skirt arrived yesterday and is perfect. I wouldn't want it any shorter, but think it sits high as I expected. I have an all-day work do tomorrow, so going to wear it with the snake lace up flats.

Love all your NAP buys mara, I can see you in them all so hope they are keepers.

shopafrolic · 18/06/2015 13:51

I can see you in them all too Mara - love the one shoulder for evening. Will look gorgeous on you. Hope the packing goes ok.
Look at the tee packaging

Shop lovely tshirts, that has reminded me to order, what's the sizing like? I'm a 10--12 top so thinking a medium??

shopafrolic · 18/06/2015 15:06

I'm a 12 but with a big bust and got a large. Medium should be fine. They are v lovely.

Stokey · 18/06/2015 15:15

Loving the perfume memories. I dabbled with Ysatis in my teens Shop, DM had a bottle, and my best friend had Rive Gauche which I thought was very sophisticated. In my 20s I used Paloma Picasso chiefly because I loved the bottle and later flirted with Issey and Kenzo Flower. Now I love Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady but it's a bit eye-wateringly expensive for day to day. I think I'm a perfume tart, I can't stick to one!

Thanks for the short info MyVegas, very useful as I'm a similar size. I think I may just have to go and try some on... Or wait till the last in case I manage to get more shredded?

MyVegasBaby · 18/06/2015 15:32

All ordered Shop only small and medium left so glad your post reminded me! I've not had my colours done by they are definitely good colours for me.
Stokey I remember having Paloma Picasso too! I chop and change perfume a lot and do like to buy before a holiday for the reasons mentioned up thread. I was trying to think of another one in late teens as I drove to work and it was L'Air Du Temps from Nina Ricci!

MarshaBrady · 18/06/2015 15:46

Love your NaP stuff very much Mara. It is all so gorgeous. Would love to hear what you think of the floral dress.

Shop great ts and branding

AmberNectarine · 18/06/2015 15:49

Went to buy a birthday present for MIL and accidentally came home with these. Whatcha gonna do? They'll be very useful I think - I don't actually have any nude shoes because thus far I haven't found a pair that didn't make me look like Carole Middleton. These tick that box, mercifully.

MyVegasBaby · 18/06/2015 15:53

ASOS order arrived yesterday and had a try on last night. Keeping French Connection top, lovely colours, very flattering and looks good with both denim and black shorts for holiday but also with jeans/trousers for after. Also got this little gem, really nice and a bargain as I got the 20% off Black Top
Love the Dune sandals but not sure if too dressy for where we're going on holiday and still hankering after the illusive black patent Gigis! I found some on Nordstrom for £47 but they didn't have my size, so the search continues......

MyVegasBaby · 18/06/2015 15:54

Stokey the god news with Gap Shorts is there will always be a discount whenever you buy them!

QueenCardigan · 18/06/2015 17:34

I think I joined you about 18 months ago to ask about a handbag. Can't imagine life without you guys now.
mara lve the madewell.
Glad the tees are keepers shop
cranagh I prefer the marcie to Anya.

Cranagh · 18/06/2015 17:59

I've cancelled the Marcie order, I got cold feet as it still hasn't been dispatched and I wanted it for Sat night. I think I may need the medium size so need to save more.

Amber, great accidental shopping!

Love everything you've bought, Mara.

Cool packaging, Shop.

OneLittleLady · 18/06/2015 18:20

oh blair that would be fab! if you could post it,that would be great as i'm still not certain about the MU as Dp doesn't know if he's in the country or not yet, have to wait to hear from his boss. thank you so much Thanks

ugh, it's turned so cold! i'm almost, almost tempted to put the heating on again! instead i've wrapped up in my 'house' wrap/poncho/blanket

AmberNectarine · 18/06/2015 18:48

Bloody baking here one I'm hanging around in a t shirt and mini. Meant to say if you want to meet up for a coffee when you're visiting DP just give me a shout.

cranagh I do find I'm quite accident prone...

OneLittleLady · 18/06/2015 19:07

amber that'd be great, i'll be free all through the day weds-fri as dp has to work so if any fo those days are good for you, i'll meet you at one of the coffee shops Smile i'll drop you my phone number if you send me a pm Smile

it's really turned cold here, it was lovely and sunny but windy all day but nwo the temperature has dropped massively

really pleased though, as we've had a couple of really nice days, that the strappy sundress I got in america fits really well and I don't even need to wear a bra of any sort with it because of how well it fits. hoping to get more wear out of it soon if the sun sticks around

shopafrolic · 18/06/2015 19:34

Boiling here. 24 in DS' room
those tees are so good I've had a totally Voguette moment. I decided I wanted them in the black, white, grey colour way too. But I didn't want to pay £7.50 delivery. So I text the lovely Sleep who lives near an Anna, bought them and put them on hold, she collected them at 4pm and will give them to me at the MU. Love being a Voguette - no-one else would understand the burning need!! Grin

Oh Shop Flowers I'm a coward too but can tell you it will go so quickly and you'll forget it in a flash.

Can't remember when exactly I joined....just kind of snuck in Smile. Have loved it so much here.

Perfume is soooooo evocative:

"Dune" my sister aged 18
"Paloma Picasso" reminds me of my year in France as a student.
Body Shop "white musk", uni first year
"Femme De Rochas"my mother when I was young makes me emotional
"L'Air du temps" my Italian Teacher
"Beautiful" by Estée Lauder makes me feel sick because I used to work with a woman who sprayed it every hour and EL perfumes have an ingredient that makes me feel weird.
"Charlie" brassy, blingy, Bently driving neighbour circa 1979
"la Perla" my first work placement 1989 when it was being launched
"Eau Jeune" French eau de cologneme aged 12
"eau Sauvage" my DF

DS came back from a school trip with a fist shaped bottle of aftershave called "Only the Brave" by diesel for goodness sake!!!!!!

My goodness.........."My life through my nose" Grin
