Love those pink sandals, Amber.

I would do the interview and see how it goes first.

Great shopping, Happy.

I have bought several pairs of Gap jeans, a couple of Goldsign and two pairs of gigis over the course of the thread.

Liberty, lots of MBMJ bags on sale at Monnier Freres.

I have ordered this AH small maxi zip to compare with the Marcie. Though have this already, which is a similar colour to the AH maybe should cancel the order. And the Marcie would be better for night time, probably. Dilemma!

HappyGirlNow · 17/06/2015 19:42

Really like the Burberry you have cranagh

shopafrolic · 17/06/2015 21:14

Haven't done this for a while but I need inspiration so have a question for you all.
Tell me:

  1. your favourite perfume in your twenties
  2. your favourite perfume now

For me 1) Ysatis by Givenchy and 2) Chanel Chance
Go!

20's - Chloe or CK One
Now - Diptyque 34

libertychick · 17/06/2015 21:27

Cranagh, thanks for the Monnier Freres tip - I'm dithering again! Hoping to have a chance to pop into selfridges and Liberty on Friday and take a proper look at them and then decide. Also last night while browsing on Pin I became aware of the existence of the Celine trotteur. This may be my dream bag - so gorgeous! I have no clue what it costs blissful ignorance

Lib that's a beautiful bag.

Cranagh really love the mini Marcie bit think the AH one is v similar to your Burberry and not as nice. A good predicament to be in though! Smile

Well my early 20's! Grin was Hugo boss deep red...and it still is my favourite although haven't bought it in a while and it's very much a winter scent!

QueenCardigan · 18/06/2015 06:45

I don't really wear perfume but a favourite of mine has always been Anais Anais.

shopafrolic · 18/06/2015 06:48

Love these! Thanks guys.
Christ Maz how old are you? Smile

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 18/06/2015 06:49

In my 20s it was Anais Anais
Then went through an Issey Miyake phase

I don't really wear any now.

MarshaBrady · 18/06/2015 06:51

Big wave to Mara great to see you. A bag which will easily hold note books and books sounds a good idea.

LinusDKD · 18/06/2015 06:53

Oh Anais Anais was the first perfume I ever used. I must have been 14 or 15 and DM bought it for me when I had my first period as "I was becoming a woman" Hmm

MyVegasBaby · 18/06/2015 07:04

This takes me back, I had Anais Anais and Rive Gauche at some point. I remember Lou Lou and Paris were also popular then too, as were Opium and Poison. Showing my age!

mazj4cks · 18/06/2015 07:44

shop I'm 29! My last year of my 20's! ConfusedGrin

Drywhiteplease · 18/06/2015 07:52

Teens-Anais Anais
1.Twenties-Coco Chanel
2.Now- Chanel No19.
Wear perfume every day. Love the stiff.

Theatre last night. I wore my Asos Sophia laced heels with dark wash Jimmies, cream top and the fitted black blazer I never wear and have rediscovered. Gucci hobo of course. Felt good. Didn't feel good when I discovered in the car that I'd bought 3 instead of 4 tickets Shock

shopafrolic · 18/06/2015 08:02

Shoot me now Maz Grin I had conveniently wiped that from my memory!
Teens I wore Body Shop White Musk and the other one - was it Dewberry?
Then LouLou and Paris, then Ysatis for years.
Smelling certain perfumes reminds me of holidays - when you bought your perfume in Duty Free and then wore it for the first time away. My memory is shot usually but scent and or music always brings it back.
e.g. Learning all the words to Careless Whisper at school, dancing at a disco to Karma Chameleon, pulling an all nighter with friends and singing Ian van Dahl Castles in the Sky loudly to each other on the way home to stop the driver from falling asleep. etc. etc.
