i honestly find primark tights better than M&S ones which cost 3x the price. I wear tights almost all year round and can hand on heart say the primark ones are just as good as many of the ones two or three times their price, including M&S, boots and BHS ones.

AmberNectarine · 16/06/2015 23:13

I'm actually enjoying M&S underwear as I have recently gone back to wearing thongs (least irritating option when distance running) and theirs are very good, I find.

Forgot to say I ordered this skirt on a whim last night after seeing it on a blog. It is coming from China though so I hope the sizing isn't too random - have ordered a small which should fit according to the measurements...

OneLittleLady · 16/06/2015 23:56

i love that skirt amber i'm tempted to get one myself tbh i do love flamingos

MarshaBrady · 17/06/2015 08:00

Morning wearing the Lanvin flats today. First time, very bright! Will have to adjust to having brightness in peripheral vision.

This is the third lot I've bought with you guys. It's a moment Grin. Is there anything you've bought a few times over 60 threads?

MarshaBrady · 17/06/2015 08:01

Or perhaps I should say over the 60 volumes / editions.

shopafrolic · 17/06/2015 08:05

Jimmies Marsha my Paige Jimmies :)
I love that we've lasted this long :)

Fedupnagging · 17/06/2015 08:16

I wonder if we'll get to 100? We will definitely need to have extra special MU if we do.

What are you wearing with your flats Marsha?

I can't immediately think anything I've bought repeatedly - probably my maison scotch skinnies - have them in black, navy and denim.

Am late to the pencil skirt party wore them loads in the 80's but all this talk of t shirts and flats to wear with is making me want to try some on. I can't remember who linked some yesterday Justa?, but I loved the tropical one.

AmberNectarine · 17/06/2015 08:20

I think I may have bought, ahem, one or two pairs of shoes over the course of these threads.

Fedupnagging · 17/06/2015 08:27

I like this look although maybe with pointy flats. ignores fact that pointy flats are not the most comfy style for wide feet

LinusDKD · 17/06/2015 09:14

Jimmies here too shop! I think I'm on my fourth pair now and all the others have found a loving MNV home. Grin

I am joining you in brightness marsha as I am wearing my nano today.

The last time I wore it must have been at last spring's MU as I found some GBP coins in there this morning. Smile

QueenCardigan · 17/06/2015 10:59

marsha gap jeans for me, navy blouses and of course cardigans. I'll still be buying them by vol 100!

We had the same trainer again this morning. Lots of abs work. I will definitely be suffering tomorrow.

I'm going to write my cv today so if you see me back on here tell me to bugger off Grin

AmberNectarine · 17/06/2015 11:03

Have ordered a card holder from Aspinal that I had my eye on - I hate my cards rattling around loose in my clutches. Half price in the sale AND free personalisation. Gotta love that.

Also thinking I may get these for no other reason than I don't have pink heeled sandals in my life.

mazj4cks · 17/06/2015 12:11

fedup I love that look, cool casual is quite me! I tend to panic more for "dressing up" occasions!!

amber those pink sandals are lovely.
Smile

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 17/06/2015 14:08

Sandals are nice Amber. I had a look on aspinal, love the turquoise colour of some of the sale bags but can't justify them!

I have just switched bag back to my Reed Krakoff, after reading the news that he has closed his line. Such a shame, and of course the remaining bags in the NAP sale are still way out of my league!

I can't think of anything I've repeat bought, except Goldsign Virtuals but that was in a different colour.

Hope the cv is going well QueenC. I have been tempted to do mine lately.

LinusDKD · 17/06/2015 14:12

Gah, I have finally found a pair of Stan Smiths in my size ( and the right coloured sole, bright white) but they don't suit me.

They were ok I guess but not worth spending £80 on. I just love them on other people but I don't think I'm cool enough to pull them off. waisted months trying to find a pair for nothing!

QueenCardigan · 17/06/2015 14:34

Advice needed ladies. The cv and covering letter is almost done and it needs to be emailed. I'm going to call first to express my interest but do I be honest and say that I'm still unsure whether I want to work and whether it'll fit in with the kids etc?? The job really appeals but I don't want to waste their time if I'm unsure realises that I should have phoned them weeks ago but I'm scared and crap at the sort of thing

maradesbois · 17/06/2015 14:43

Hello All,

Thanks for shiny new thread Shop.

QueenC I wouldn't express your hesitation at interview, don't think it will endear you to them. Maybe you could see how it goes and let them know afterwards if you're just not interested?

Love, love your orange Lanvins Marsha. Have my eye on some Tod's ballet flats but not sure they'll be in sale. Hoping to have a Mayfair shopping day on Sat despite being mid-move. Would like a new bag for starting my uni course in Sep. Had been thinking maybe large Pashli but not sure it's right for me. Will look at Smythson sale and Amber has prompted me to look at Aspinall too. Am a sucker for a bit of personalisation!

Haven't bought anything for ages except for this Equipment dress which absolutely love.

Fedup yy to special mu for 100th edition Smile.

Stokey · 17/06/2015 15:29

Happy 60th MNV

It's tricky QueenC. I would ask if there is any scope for flexible working as you have a young family. So you could raise flexibility issues but not whether you want to return to work or not as otherwise you're unlikely to get through to interview stage. What kind of job are you applying for? Sorry I think I may have missed it. Also when you ring them, you may just be talking to an admin bod who is processing applications rather than someone who will be making decisions.

What's the sizing like on the GAP cut-offs MyVegas? Do you find they're loose round the waist - my perennial problem with GAP jeans.

Has anyone got anything for Father's day? I was thinking about maybe buying some swim shorts or flip-flops as we're off on holiday soon (and a bit skint!) but DH has size 12 feet so is always tricky to buy for.

Drywhiteplease · 17/06/2015 15:29

Jimmies (3 pairs), Gigis (2 pairs), Gazelles (2pairs), favourite MV black slim ( but look skinny) trouser (2 pairs) BR Sloane fit ankle slimmer (3pairs), when I like something I stock up Grin

HappyGirlNow · 17/06/2015 16:04

Ooh love the skirt in the pinterest link fedup - do you or does anyone else know where it's from? It's the detail at the bottom I love, I already have plenty standard jersey pencil skirts..

I've just had a bit of a Zara splurge..

Love this

Adore this

Loose blazer

Think this will be nice if the 'v' is low enough on me..

And pretty cotton top and dress for my holiday to Greece in a few weeks Grin

HappyGirlNow · 17/06/2015 16:06

Amber I LOVE those pink sandals! Beautiful shade. I'm tempted actually...

MyVegasBaby · 17/06/2015 16:13

Stokey I got size 27, I have a 26 in their Always Skinny jeans but wanted s slightly looser fit for wearing them when it's warm (and I've over indulged for 2 weeks!). I'm generally a 10 in most normal sized brands if that helps!
Will catch up later!

maradesbois · 17/06/2015 16:50

Stokey I thought about getting Supergas for Father's Day. Dh has mentioned wanting a pair but they're a bit outside his comfort zone of Tod's & similar. Holiday footwear sounds a good plan. My bil who also has size 12 feet is always in Havianas in summer so they definitely do big sizes.

AmberNectarine · 17/06/2015 17:00

My DH

mazj4cks · 17/06/2015 17:42

I find it hard to get things for dh.
This year I'm going to put together a little box of all his favourite "sweet" items. Smile
