Or get it in green Dancer, and pretend to be a Pacer!

noddyholder · 07/04/2015 22:04

Tesco one nice but not me think its the belt! Am going to order the grey one to try I suit that shape

RonaldMcDonald · 08/04/2015 01:43

Some of these dresses are too formal for me
I like the tesco..like an asos I wore to bits, actually, last year
I've never tesco'd before...but that's great and useful

ScrambledSmegsMP · 08/04/2015 09:35

Navy not-quite White Stuff dress arrived from Amazon today. I like it - it's slightly more of a casual throw-on dress than the red one I have, as it's a little shorter and has a bit of an invisible stretch to the waist at the back.

I like that Tesco dress. Wish it came in a lighter colour though.

Bakeoffcake · 08/04/2015 09:59

My not quite White stuff dress has arrived too. I haven't tried it on yet but like the look of it.

Are all the labels cut out of yours Scrambled? Do you think they may have fallen off the back of a lorry?Grin

BabyGanoush · 08/04/2015 10:31

Like the Tesco dress, but... PolyesterSad

ScrambledSmegsMP · 08/04/2015 10:47

Yes, they've been cut out of mine too Grin. However the quality, fabric and style is very similar to the red broderie one I have from this season, so I hope think it's legit.

Broderie is funny stuff, isn't it? Looks like it should be a heavy fabric, but is in actuality really light and breathable, thanks to the holes. I'm glad I've got it, last year I had a lot of loose t-shirt style dresses in cotton jersey and despite looking like they were cool and floaty they were a bit on the warm side. Looking forward to wafting around feeling fresh and cool this year.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/04/2015 11:32

Tesco one would be good in a light jersey - it's useless in polyester.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/04/2015 11:34

Has anybody seen a black or grey cotton shirt dress anywhere?

SwedishEdith · 08/04/2015 12:19

It's probably considered a crime against S&B but this dress is really easy to wear and well-made and...cotton Probably not for hot hot days though.

Can you look out for boring but potentially useful t-shirt

And if they have any plain cotton jumpers - white or navy or grey, ideally. Website not revealing much.

Also relaxed skinnies in grey I suspect will be awful though.

ElizabethHoover · 08/04/2015 18:34

Love a list! yes i can. Had to wrestle this gig of H so am pleased

I like that school run dress (although I dont do a school run anymore)

Im 4ft 11" though so would look like a sack of shit

noddyholder · 08/04/2015 18:37

I prefer the next ones

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/04/2015 18:37

I wear rolled up skinnies a lot in Spring, but wondered if the looser ones might be cooler/more comfortable for slobbing days. I can't 'do' chinos etc, as I look hideous in them.

noddyholder · 08/04/2015 18:39

www.marksandspencer.com/pure-cotton-half-sleeve-t-shirt-with-staynew/p/p22391809 can you look at this for size and neck as our shop doesn't have it and I love that shape

ElizabethHoover · 08/04/2015 18:42

agree sometimes that skinnies seem too much for messing around.

I got the Next skinnies ( non relaxed) as an impulse buy the other day when getting s3 summer shorts( aged 12 in size 15) and i like em. Slight wear detail to pocket.

Sorry and I meant to say they are a nice loose skinny. just' jeans' you know.

But god my arse is flat and middle aged. has anyone ever had bumlift jeans?

OP posts:
RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/04/2015 18:44

Noddy - I looked at those the other day. They were a 'No' for me. I think they'd lose their shape and go baggy on the neck - need some Elastane in them.

ElizabethHoover · 08/04/2015 18:44

wil try the t on, nod in a 12 and a 'tits ahoy' 14
its only cotton... might need a soupçon of lycra

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/04/2015 18:45

M&S do 'Lift' jeans. I have a pair but not convinced they make a huge difference.

noddyholder · 08/04/2015 18:46

Thank you! I like the colour its a facelift on a bad day
