I bought some peopletree dresses last year which are perfect. All pure cotton as well.

Everything in Oasis is a knicker flashee.

lurkingaround · 06/04/2015 10:43

I mean knicker flasher.
Turns us all into knicker flashees.

Ah, , I have a friend who is a SAHM to three DC and lives in a warm place and does indeed spend afternoons in her big garden in her bikini or shorts/vest top. She puts on a denim dress to pick up DC or go out - it is strappy, though, due to the climate.

I am loving reading this thread and looking at the dresses; only at page 5 though. I work, so no need for a school run dress.

lurkingaround · 06/04/2015 10:44

Agree with the Finery comment. Loads I could order on it. Some lovely things.

RonaldMcDonald · 06/04/2015 11:02

I like this shirt dress

RonaldMcDonald · 06/04/2015 11:07

this fella for Heidi moments but unsure if the coral would wear me and not t'other way round

NoPsipsinaChocolateOrange · 06/04/2015 11:23

Just looked at Finery, most of the dresses look like they don't fit properly - awful. There are a couple of nice jumpsuits though.

ElizabethHoover · 06/04/2015 12:34

not so convinced on Finery for me. its a bit drapey and I look kerackers in that

Am sure it would suit drapey angular drifty types though

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/04/2015 23:35

Just found these sandals perfect but so expensive.

ElizabethHoover · 07/04/2015 07:43

Dresses look fine Ronald. Just not my thing. The ethnic stuff. Order

I've bought another broderie anglaise dress in red. It's perfect - light, flattering and is surprisingly un-dressy for the colour it is.

I don't think it's the MN school-run dress, but it's got the potential to be mine.

This is my school run dress of the moment. Bought in the closing down sale of the UK Marimekko shop (sob!). Just when I find my label, they close down.

NigellasGuest · 07/04/2015 13:46

Ronald I like the coral dress you linked to (although it's not my colour personally) - if it's your colour then go for it! It's a lovely dress.

I am waiting for these to be delivered today
