I got a cheapo Asos one but the fabric isn't right. A super soft terry one I could get on with.

Very tempted

LinusDKD · 19/03/2015 11:01

Yay! Love that jumpsuit! Am tempted as well but as I'm so short I might be better off wearing a playsuit.

Ooooh now I want some carrot cake! Please send me a slice marsha as proper carrot cake is hard to find here.

maradesbois · 19/03/2015 11:14

Morning,

Blimey Santa you do react quickly in times of adversity, seem to remember a similar situation with leather trousers. Glad all ok. And pls stop with the Craig/Putin comparisons, I love DC!

Marsha cake was a nice idea. You are a good project manager.

Shop love the jumpsuit, very you.

Amber nice but sooo high.

Am channelling Dry today, crisp white shirt under grey jumper with jeans. Feels so fresh and clean apart from sweaty gym trainers as forgot my shoes

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2015 11:19

That sounds nice Mara

Ok final rant. No one is taking responsibility for the cock up. Can't move the radiator without pulling up my lovely new Fired Earth wood floor - not happening. Means all the tiling won't get down. I am so deflated.

Kitchen people washing hands, fitters blamers the kitchen design - Arseholes the lot of them!

Back to square one

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2015 11:25

(Ok take that back a bit, fitter owner of co still trying to help.)

maradesbois · 19/03/2015 11:30

Oh no Marsha. It must be the designers' fault, what a crappy situation to be in. Dh gets really cross about building cock ups and shouts at everyone to sort it out, find a way and not bother us with the details. A bit Blush but effective.

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2015 11:35

Yeh I think it's the designer's fault as much as they say their fitters would have spotted the mistake, changed the placement and not followed the plans they supplied.

maradesbois · 19/03/2015 11:38

Can you get the designer to come out and talk to the fitter, tell them you're not looking to blame so long as it gets sorted out?

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2015 11:46

The kitchen is in, so no where to go with it, without removing big built in items. Sad

And even I reckon that if you get to the point where you have to build around an appliance to get it in, then someone has fucked up somewhere.

santamarianovella · 19/03/2015 12:51

Oh god marsha , that's a nightmare! I guess, it's no use blaming the designers as they have delivered their bit and its the fitters turn to take the blame,as they should have gone and asked the desginers before starting anything,or they should have done a mockup atleast to see if it fits, if they had any doubt when looking at the plans. TBH, if it were me and if its something that will bother me no matter how tiny it is, then I'd sort it out, even if it means pulling out some built ins, sorry! I know how terrible it is, but the fitters should take responsibility of that bit, and pay for the damage,
But dont be too hard on yourself, It happens very often, its usually more a case of lack of communications, between the two,

And thank you all, I'm much better today,I just re read my posts, and Its obvious, i was high on painkillers! , did go back to have my foot checked, as they glued the cut, but it was still seeping blood this morning, and it burrrrrned like hell when I took a shower, no trace of DR spooks this morning, he was in a Jane Austen adaptation too ,I couldn't bring myself to watch it, no matter how good looking he was in regency clothes and all that, due to the actress who played the lead role, her hair was driving me insane! It was all over her forehead, detto Jamaica inn, I couldn't get myself to watch it any more , lady Sybil hair was all over and it looked horrible, I have a strange case of OCD,

I love that jumpsuit shop,

linus, I remember you were looking for cropped black trousers, I bought one a few days ago from Stella ,the cut is fab, and the fabric is not too heavy,

santamarianovella · 19/03/2015 12:53

Omg! What happened to NAP? Did they change the format? my log in details are all in Chinese

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2015 12:57

Thanks Santa. It means cutting up the beautiful wood floor. They have offered to do it but I don't know if I can, because it might look shite and it looks so good now.

The designer admitted that she did close the gap, after the owner denied it. But yeah there's no way they are going to care beyond well you have the kitchen. It is a design fault though. It should have been raised at the time and we would have moved the radiator easily before hand. EASY. Do you want to close this gap or not?

I don't blame myself I blame them! Such bad service from the kitchen people. At least the fitters are trying.

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2015 12:59

Mine's ok here. Might have switched countries bizarre when some sites do that, Asos does that sometimes for me.

Glad your foot is feeling a bit better.

bettykt · 19/03/2015 13:57

Marsha argghh not good. We had a new kitchen 2 years ago, luckily enough dh's brother fitted it, there were problems with the design and some very small adjustments had to be made due to the design plans. Obviously yours sound like major problems. Hope they pull their finger out with little/no additional cost to you Flowers

Mara I channelled my inner Dry too yesterday and wore a white collar bib which outwardly looked like a shirt, charcoal Tippi, jeans and Pistols.

I've also copied Dry and bought some RI flares, again an itch that needed to be scratched, I got the Brookes ones, they were surprisingly flattering on thanks to a bit of weight loss

shopafrolic · 19/03/2015 14:00

Marsha grrr for all the issues you're having. I'm with Santa it needs to be perfect though.
I can see Blair rocking this

Fab jumpsuit, Shop!

Ouch, Santa, poor you.

Marsha, hope they resolve it.

One, hope you are on the mend. I think your lecturers should be more understanding.

Fedup, nice dress. I have a 20% discount code for the White Co - ad439 valid until April sometime.

Karbea, Marcie and I could be so happy together! Will have to wait until bonus time and see how it goes. Think I really want that poncho I linked to yesterday!

Went to the Kings rd this morning to do a return but time only for that and coffee, no browsing unfortunately! Ok, time for third school run of the day.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 19/03/2015 15:20

AmberNectarine · 19/03/2015 16:26

Gotta love bonus time cranagh it's when never seeing our DHs slightly pays off Wink. I won't get a bonus this year - damn career break.

AmberNectarine · 19/03/2015 16:28

That's so cute Ellis - our DS was guest of honour at our wedding and wore a T-Shirt with a bow tie printed on it. He was very cute.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 19/03/2015 16:59

That's adorable Ellis :) I've got a couple of boys' bow ties coming from Etsy for DP's nephews for the wedding - in coral, to wear with these. DNs are 8 and 3 and apparently can't wait to get dressed up! Hoping the cuteness factor doesn't make me broody

Drywhiteplease · 19/03/2015 17:11

Blair ds and my nephew were dressed like that at DSIs as wedding, with mini converse trainers....looked grea.

Loving that I'm being channelled today, made me Grin....am very into shirt under jumper at the moment, MD Stan smiths wonders whether to wear them to parents teachers tonightHmm

Found this on my back doorstep today had been there 2 days Blush thanks Stokey for the recommendation, it's a great basic, lovely fine cotton, but not for long waisted.

Santa and Marsha sending love and strength.Smile

Ellisisland · 19/03/2015 18:03

Blair those outfits are adorable ! They will be so cute. If you start to get broody feel free to borrow my two who never EVER sleep through the night. Despite DS1 being 3 years old .... Shock
I guarantee all broodiness will disappear within 24hours! they are very cute though so they get away with never letting me sleep

santamarianovella · 19/03/2015 18:41

Awww! ellis, he will look so cute,

NAP is driving me mad! I need to check something, and I can't access it through my iPad! I've called them and they said they updated the site and maybe, it will take time to figure itself out, why why !!, did you have to do that! It was perfectly fine, and now all I can see is kate upton and that's it! ,

Topazandpearl · 19/03/2015 19:08

Oh Marsha I hope it gets sorted soon. How frustrating for you.

That sounded so painful Santa. I hope your foot is ok today.

I hope you are feeling better One.

Blair the wedding really is coming together, isn't it?

Great jumper Dry and Stokey.

I love all the Dry looks!

OOTD was the black with spots uniqlo silk shirt that I wore to the MU with black cropped trousers and Ash leopard skaters (bare ankles-brave cold) and my old black leather biker, along with a cream BeckSondergard scarf and the black Radley Grosvenor. I was a bit optimistic with the crops and bare ankles though.
