Fedup - Lovely bag.

QueenCardigan · 17/03/2015 19:49

I have the swimming costume version of that fedup and it's great on isn't it. I love all the ruching. Actually quite tempted by a tanking myself for the holidays. Glad you got the bag. I've got my eye on a fossil bag too. I'm returning the coast top so I may just be able to justify it with the money I have left over.

QueenCardigan · 17/03/2015 19:50

Meant to also say welcome back to remus. I vaguely looked at your white shirt thread but got fed up with people being rude about it. Did you find one in the end?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 17/03/2015 19:55

Thanks, QueenC. I haven't found one yet and may still go back for the TS one. Tbh I don't care if people are rude about it - if I decide that I like something, I'll wear it. I'm old enough, ugly enough and wise enough nowadays to make my own decisions! :)

LinusDKD · 17/03/2015 20:10

remus I haven't read your thread so I have no idea what kind of white shirt you're looking for but if it's a classic white shirt, I really recommend the Brooks Brothers no iron shirt.

I think they call it something silly like 'miracle' shirt but it's great quality and fits well. I got one in NY after reading the autobiography of Betty Halbreich, Bergdorf Goodman's oldest and best personal shopper.

She said it was the best basic white shirt in the world so I got one the next day. Wink

AmberNectarine · 17/03/2015 20:44

I love my Uniqlo white shirt. Best buy ever.

dry I was ropey on Sunday. And DH flitted off on business leaving me with the kids. NOT ideal.

one feel better soon!

mary - welcome, and those boots are divine!

Something in this house smells damp and it's really annoying me.

Cranagh · 17/03/2015 22:38

Dry, I had two delicious glasses of Saumur! Hope you did not drink that Guinness, Linus!

Lovely bag and tankini, Fedup.

Amber, is that the same shirt Hopefully has? I really like it.

One, hope you get a good night's sleep tonight.

LinusDKD · 18/03/2015 07:28

Morning!

No cranagh I didn't drink the Guinness! I went for a lovely Malbec instead.

dry you can switch off predictive text if you go to settings/keyboard. It's the first thing I did after an update as it drives me bonkers.

Wearing my white shirt today in honour of remus with a grey J Crew jumper, black (-ish) Leigh skinnies and Tod's loafers with NO socks.

I have been thinking of maybe getting some black cropped trousers as I like the way they look with bretons (Audrey Hepburn style) but I haven't see any nice ones yet.

OneLittleLady · 18/03/2015 07:32

morning all

didn't sleep great last night but better than the night before so that's something. going to brave my class this morning, should be okay so long as everyone understands i won't really be talking and i keep dosed up on painkillers!

shopafrolic · 18/03/2015 07:52

Morning all. Ellis I have just bought separates from Boden. They do good swimwear. Freya (at Bravissimo and Figleaves) also do good separates.

Thanks linus have switched off Smile

shopafrolic · 18/03/2015 07:54

One if you have tonsillitis and are on antibiotics you should be at home resting. Your classmates won't thank you for sharing and you need to take care of yourself.

I think J Crew are doing a cropped version of the pixie pant Linus - think you like those?

MarshaBrady · 18/03/2015 09:25

Morning. Having a browse on Matches, I think flats will be my first buy this season.

It's great that they take new designers on regularly, but the skyrocketing prices are crazy. Just goes up each time there's a new designer added.

LinusDKD · 18/03/2015 09:35

Wow marsha that's steep for a pair of jeans!

amber I just checked and they don't have the Pixie in a cropped version but there's two other styles that might work. Will add those to my shortlist.

one stay in bed today! You need to rest and get better, especially since you're traveling soon!

Had two very strong cups of coffee this morning and I am very jittery. I never drink that much coffee but I was checking out a new cafe using their free wifi and felt obliged to order a second one. Hmm

MarshaBrady · 18/03/2015 09:40

Oh Linus I'm exactly the same with two espressos. The only saving grace is that it's early and it might wear off before bed time.

Stokey · 18/03/2015 10:38

I obviously have very low standards .... was going to tell Linus you should definitely try the guiness Grin. I blame it on my Irish father Shamrock
NO socks - brave. I think J-Crew did a cropped Minnie too last year that were quite flattering.

Bernice I like those cobalt skater shoes on the last thread... no idea if the trend has flown but can see them being very handy.

Hello Mary , lovely fringed boots.

Hope you're feeling better One.

Agree about the coffee, more than one and I'm a state. I'm trying to drink a green juice in the morning instead. Feels a bit too healthy though.

I'm wearing my new stripey Cos jumper and a yellow a-line skirt. Slightly worried it's a bit boobtastic - possibly need some flares to balance it out.

Ellisisland · 18/03/2015 10:58

Thanks shop will try Boden and Freya

Fedup love that bag and tankini

I have that Brooks Brothers miracle shirt and i love it.

We were in bed by ten last night. My irish husband said he can never tell his family as the shame of an early night of St Patrick's day would be too much ! Grin

Cranagh · 18/03/2015 11:38

It's not so tempting to have another drink when it is not a bank holiday here! Next year we will, we are moving there in a few months.

Marsha that is a ridiculous price for jeans, I could almost get a Marcie for that (new obsession).

Boring old jeans and tee shirt here today, I spent the morning making sushi with my DD1's class. Surprisingly easy, may attempt it again!

maradesbois · 18/03/2015 12:04

Morning,

Cranagh you could get a mini Marcie and have enough left over for at least one nice pair of jeans. This is my kind of self-enabling that drives dh crazy!

I have two espressos every morning then another in the afternoon. At home the nespresso gold or pink one, not very strong.

Love the sound of Brooks bros miracle shirt.

shopafrolic · 18/03/2015 12:31

Love your logic Mara - very similar to my own :)
So lovely to be out in the sunshine with the dog today. Sunglasses on.
Went across to St Albans earlier and picked up these finally - very happy. Thanks again Amber
Still waiting for the dress and jumpsuit on here
Ellis 20% off at Boden until midnight tomorrow

Fedupnagging · 18/03/2015 13:07

One you really should be home in bed today! Flowers try to take it easy.

Fab shoes Shop.

Have just realised I need a couple more day/beach dresses as I threw a lot out last summer. Love the Grecian dress and the panel maxi at the bottom of the page here (can't open individual items for some reason atm) but they will be far too long and my dressmaker has gone away for 2 months. Will spend some time later dress hunting.

Shock at the price of those jeans - that's more than the cost of our 2 flights to Spain in August! Or indeed, a marcie plus jeans Grin Mara.

OOTD is plain and simple today as am doing lots of chores - blue supergas, j brands, grey hobbs l/s t, giant multi coloured scarf and blue fleck GAP biker jacket. No socks here either even though the weather is rubbish.

Cranagh · 18/03/2015 14:22

Lovely dresses, Fedup.

Those shoes are fabulous, Shop.

I had a look at the small Marcies, do like them. Obviously I'll also need a new purse to go with it as my wallet didn't fit inside. :) Come on, Matches, do one of your £100 off codes!

MarshaBrady · 18/03/2015 14:25

Cranagh do you know which colour you would like?

Cranagh · 18/03/2015 14:37

Either the blue or the pink but darn it, they are already sold out! The sales assistant told me on Sunday that they fly off the shelves. I'd prefer the larger size really though. Also looked at the Chloe scalloped edge flats, I think you like them? Gorgeous.
