Hello all well I attended the ballet gala last night. I enjoyed it and wasn't as emotional as I thought I would be. It was black tie so wore this dress

Sadly I don't get to keep the dress. It was a one night only dress thanks to a friend but it was gorgeous to wear.

Exhausted after solo day with kids, had a moody young man telling DD2 off for being annoying in Cinderella - she was fidgeting and asking loud questions. I did turn around and say "Who do you think universal films at 3 in the afternoon are for?" but seething a bit inside. Still hot Rob Stark as Prince Charming eased the pain somewhat.

Have discovered that Stan Smiths only look good on me with certain ankle grazing length trousers. My jeans today were too long and I ended up looking like a frumpy granny with very white trainers

We went to the Tower of London today as ds wanted to see a castle. It worked, he loved it, expensive day however.

I've driven myself insane today. I want to book a holiday end April/beginning May and I can't work out where to go :/ we want some sun, dh wants all inc, no more than a 10hr flight. Any recommendations?

karbea Caribbean is normally between 9-10 hours flight I think? I went to Cuba in April 2 years ago and it was seriously hot. Had a fantastic time though. Have you got a shortlist of places you fancy ?
