Well, it's not really One - tonsillitis is usually caused by the same virus hat gives colds, not everyone is infectious in the same way, so you can't really pass it on per se. I would go to work with a cold - in a high stress professional environment it's not really an option not to - so don't feel too bad!

I completely understand why you went in - it's a shame your tutors aren't more understanding with regard to your compromised immune system, it's not like you're not working hard!

Take it easy and get well for your fabulous holiday!

AmberNectarine · 18/03/2015 22:33

Not everyone is affected not infectious. Brain has clearly gone to bed before me!

santamarianovella · 18/03/2015 22:52

marsha its a good thing the fitters are willing to help, and I don't think its their fault, some cabinet makers/kitchen designers even big names commit huge mistakes, but because they have their own fitters things are done discreetly, or fitters discover it way in advance and correct them, but boy did I witness some serious mistakes ! Very very expensive mistakes, and you should bill the designers the cost.

And all builders love cake, not cupcakes, I once brought a carrot cake, a big one, to mark the end of a project, and seriously it was devoured in an instant! I was only left a tiny slice, and I was really hungry! Was delicious though!

Had a bit of an accident this morning, was moving a small side table, the legs had a pointy edge that needs bronze caps fitted on and it slipped from my hand and hit me smack in the middle of my feet, I was wearing flats! So bare! Yikes, blood spurted everywhere,it was like a scene from a horror movie, I've never seen blood gush out that high! I instantly kicked my new chanel flats off, didnt want to ruin them Grin, I tried to sneak out of the storage area, unnoticed but I was leaving a big trail of blood so everyone around , panicked and rushed me to the hospital, I was examined by a cute dr who looked like the spooks guy,the blonde one, but with a thick german accent, he told me thankfully I've missed a big vain or otherwise I could have lost alot of blood. , I think my other pair of flats is still in the storage area, I've sent a message to my colegue to keep it and not discard it!
Was happy with my Outfit , plain black cashmere top, white marant straight leg jeans, rick owns jacket and Stella grey python scarf, and my yummy chanel monochrome flats they were the highlight of my outfit, ,I'm starting to believe they are jinxed, second time something bad happened to me while I was wearing them

OneLittleLady · 18/03/2015 22:56

I'm very strict with hand washing and not coughing into my hands but into my arm and I always cover my nose/mouth when I sneeze and use anti bac gel so i feel slightly better about diminished chances of passing the virus on to other people, I just genuinely didn't know it was something that is contagious like a cold essentially is. I had absolutely no idea at all and I've never been told I could pass the virus causing it on. Feel a bit of an idiot that at 32 I had no idea what caused it and stuff

Undecided90 · 18/03/2015 22:57

There you all are. I haven't had time to read through everything but will do that over the weekend. I just wanted to pop on to say I have found a buttoned denim skirt - Its not my style but I have seen a few people mentioning them so wanted to link as it maybe something you want the skirt

OneLittleLady · 18/03/2015 22:58

OUCH Santa hope you are okay! I'd have been a mess, I can't deal with blood. I hope you are getting appropriate amounts of tea wine and sympathy after your accident, it sounds like it will bruise spectacularly

LinusDKD · 19/03/2015 07:10

Morning!

How's your foot today santa? Ouchie! I was wincing when I read about your accident.

I used to love that actor in Spooks, I think his name is Rupert Penry-Jones.

I'm a bit bored with my outfit today and I've only just put it on. Painter tee and Leigh skinnies so I might change in a minute.

shopafrolic · 19/03/2015 07:54

OH! Santa you poor thing - how frightening! Good save on the Chanel flats Grin Hope you aren't in too much pain.
Yes Rupert Penry Jones
Glad you found us Undecided

Shock Santa! What a terrible thing to happen. I'm so proud of you for kicking off your Chanel flat so quickly though. You poor thing!

So I've had three phone calls this morning and everyone is being polite tg, no ownership from designers. But they say that their fitters would just resolve at no extra cost, who knows. Nearly there though so feeling better, going to go and get the cake. Carrot is exactly what I was thinking, for some reason.

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2015 09:21

Undecided that skirt is Ace. All Saints is doing well atm

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2015 09:22

Argh the capital A on ace not sure what happened there!

OneLittleLady · 19/03/2015 09:30

santa how's your foot this morning? hope you are taking it easy

enjoy your cake marsha and get those designers whipped into shape!

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2015 09:32

One it's not for me Grin It's for the birthday builder here on his day off. Might not get time to eat it though he's stacked!

bettykt · 19/03/2015 09:34

Santa ouch, how's your foot today? Glad the Chanels were saved though

Marsha hope Kitchengate gets resolved pretty quickly, I cannot imagine how frustrated you must feel.glad the fitters are saving the day though. Carrot cake, yum, one of my faves

Undecided I really like that skirt, thanks for pinning

My OOTD is pretty boring but functional, dark wash skinnies, new Boden, white and yellow Breton, massive departure from black/white/grey uniform, and previously owned by Shop yellow bangles. Tan petty and NF parka for the sr as it's brrrr here.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 19/03/2015 09:44

Mmm love carrot cake. Especially the Costco ones.

santa ouch, hope you are ok today. Love your storytelling though, and so glad the Chanel flats were unscathed Grin I'm sure the fit doc helped too.

I feel better today thanks everyone. Meal out was lovely, got home a bit late though. I always forget to take into account how long my skincare routine takes now!

One get some rest today and feel better soon Flowers

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 19/03/2015 09:47

Undecided that skirt is fab, and good value for All Saints. I already bought a similar one from River island though (front slit, without buttons) or I would really be tempted! buy it betty!

shopafrolic · 19/03/2015 09:51

Yes fab skirt - good find
the jumpsuit has finally arrived! What a find Linus love it Thanks

OneLittleLady · 19/03/2015 09:54

love the jumpsuit Shop I bet your legs look a mile long in it Envy. I saw an emerald green one and I thought the colour would be fab on you but discounted it as it was very shiny satin material which i thought made it look cheap.

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2015 09:57

I really like that too. Is it quite soft? Had a quick look at tencel on google, I imagine it's towel-like

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2015 10:43

I have found a builder that doesn't eat cake Grin

AmberNectarine · 19/03/2015 10:44

Got the major horn for these babies - may have to scratch the itch.

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2015 10:48

Nice

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 19/03/2015 10:49

Love those Amber

Shop jumpsuit looks perfect for you, love Splendid.

Marsha oh no! More cake for you Cake

shopafrolic · 19/03/2015 10:50

Really soft - like a thick soft jersey fabric. It is brill. Would suit you Marsha if there's any left.....

OP posts:
AmberNectarine · 19/03/2015 10:51

I have a jersey jumpsuit from Baukjen and I absolutely love it. Always wear it when I'm hungover - socially acceptable PJs.
