Haha Lib I know that is my fear Grin. I can't do it again. As I said to Shop I can stuff up my life but not the nanny's (who has given notice to her current family). So no climbing out 2nd floor windows to escape. I'll be doing some mindful breathing or whatever.

shopafrolic · 02/04/2015 20:08

Mindful breathing and the Starbucks run Marsha. Everyone loves the one that brings coffee Grin

Ha true Grin make mne a decaf don't want every minute to feel like an hour

LinusDKD · 02/04/2015 20:31

God, I miss the Starbucks Run!

When I first moved to London 10 years ago and got my first job there we would go to Starbucks every morning (at Canary Wharf) and that's where my love for Chai Tea Latte's started.

LinusDKD · 02/04/2015 20:32

Lattes

LinusDKD · 02/04/2015 20:33

Btw, wearing Nars Schiap tonight. Too chicken to ever wear it outside the house.

bettykt · 02/04/2015 20:35

I bet you can't wait to get started now Marsha sometimes the waiting is the worst bit.

I'm most looking forward to wearing unsought Swedish Hasbeens with a denim skirt, I may get the All Saints one, with a Breton. Bare legged of course.

Lib I haven't spent much on clothes since January, still on my less is more plan and will try and continue it. I think I may need The Book about decluttering Grin

Queenc great colour sandals and fab heels.

Item(s) of clothing that I mourn, my ancient Miss Sixty denim jacket I gave to charity shop last year, I've lost weight and it would probably fit me now, they're everywhere in the shops atm and was trying one on today, not Miss Sixty I hasten to add. Oh yes bikinis, used to wear them pre dc, now I wouldn't dare Shock

MarshaBrady · 02/04/2015 21:33

I am quite looking forward to it, there's a gym very close which I'm going to join for daily exercise inc swimming etc. Plus friends who are close by who I can easily meet up with, hopefully everything will be good.

bettykt · 02/04/2015 22:15

Sounds great Marsha work and cramming in some social stuff is an absolute bonus.

QueenCardigan · 02/04/2015 22:26

I'm pissed Grin Easter Grin

Drywhiteplease · 02/04/2015 22:40

Evening all.

Have just thawed out after a freezing day at Chessington World of Torture. Stans not appropriate footwear, will have Pettys and socks on in London tomorrow day out with DH, art galleries, lunch etc can't wait

liberty DO NOT leave us!

Marsha you'll do great, funny the widow bolting image though.Grin

My no spending not going terribly well, but hey ho. Botox still not making a difference Sad think I need more.

Have spent the day thinking about the 2 fashion questions:

Regrets........a really lovely sky blue, 3/4 sleeve, boat neck, fitted top that just was perfect fabric, colour, fit.....it died through over wear Sad
Skinny boot cuts....the only jeans that make my legs look long.
My work wear wardrobe Sad when I had my "proper" job.

SS ...........just wearing no socks, no tights, no long sleeves, no coat and being WARM!

Who wants to borrow my Queen of Hearts costume? A fashion high light NOT

Ellisisland · 03/04/2015 07:35

Sounds great Marsha esp that your friend is nearby

How is your head this morning QueenC ? Grin

Dry I swear that Chessington has its own climate. Anytime I have gone there no matter how warm or how appropriate I try to dress I end up freezing cold.

Drywhiteplease · 03/04/2015 07:54

Thinking I might risk the Stans again I love them so .....Hmm

Blair is your big day this weekend or next?
Shop not long now Smile

QueenCardigan · 03/04/2015 08:11

The head is sore ellis Grin

Drywhiteplease · 03/04/2015 08:13

Worth it though QueenC sounds like a good night

shopafrolic · 03/04/2015 09:48

Raining here Dry - might be heading your way........
Morning all. Good night QueenC
Marsha sounds good - gym and friends. You'll be fine. It's the right job this time so no need to bolt. :)
No plans today - family lunch tomorrow and then holiday prep on Sunday - excited now!

MarshaBrady · 03/04/2015 10:05

I'm excited for you! Sunshine and warmth - how lovely.

shopafrolic · 03/04/2015 10:18

It's 4am there right now and 27 degrees!

OP posts:
QueenCardigan · 03/04/2015 10:19

Ugh, hangovers and painting a room don't mix.

bettykt · 03/04/2015 10:44

What I wouldn't give for 27 degrees right now. Am so cold and it's wet and miserable outside Sad still got the heating on. OOTD so far is my dressing gown - still, having a sloth morning, will get dressed at some point.

muddlingalongquitenicely · 03/04/2015 10:53

On my way to London! Wearing a rose pink jumper i picked up in H&M yesterday with indigo blue skinny jeans. Couldn't find any flat pumps yesterday so heading to westfield in stratford first then off to the hotel as cant book in till 2pm

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 03/04/2015 12:36

Have fun muddling!

Hope you feel better QueenC, you are being punished Grin

Marsha well done on the decision, it sounds like the right one. when do you start?

shop not long, exciting! 27 degrees sounds sublime.

Dry it's next weekend. :)

No plans for Easter weekend here, I need to download some music onto an ipod for the ceremony and drinks reception and meal. Does anyone have any ideas for background music? I was thinking of just downloading a playlist of piano type stuff (like you might have in a hotel bar), how would be best to find such a thing?

Also I have realised that I need to pack for honeymoon (5 days, beach hol) in HAND LUGGAGE... I wanted to take 2 outfits per day so that I could dress up for dinner each night, but I don't see how I can now. What would be a good capsule wardrobe? I wanted to mainly wear dresses and cover ups. Might have to wear some things a couple of times.

shopafrolic · 03/04/2015 13:54

Blair the 11th?! That's our wedding anniversary :)

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 03/04/2015 13:55

Key in piano wedding music into iTunes. There was loads when we got married...

OP posts:
QueenCardigan · 03/04/2015 13:57

Simples blair-you take up half of dh case! It's suprising how much you can fit in hand luggage so you might fit 2 outfits as toiletries won't take much room as you'll only have little bottles.

I'm not great with music but you should be able to find piano music or jazz type stuff on iTunes i should imagine.

I can't believe its only a week. I need to finish our outfits pin board. Some of you may have to go to the wedding naked Grin

muddling have fun.
