Novice I just clicked through on your link again (for the 100th time at least) and there was a size 12 back in stock for that jumper in John Lewis. Have purchased and it's now winging it's way to my local waitrose. Yipeee!!!

QueenQueenie · 29/03/2015 12:01

IM on the Outnet!

BrandyAlexander · 29/03/2015 12:06

That's fantastic Lib! Think it will suit you. Where is your mustard coloured top from? Wouldn't suit me but just curious but this is no exaggeration at all....you looked really stunning. Your dh's tongue must have been hanging out when he saw you.Grin

Oooh Karbea I would love both cats and dogs.Envy Dh not a cat person, I told him no cat = no dogs. This is in long term stand off!

libertychick · 29/03/2015 12:45

Ah thanks Novice Blush. The top was this Zara long sleeve t-shirt layered over uniqlo sleeveless silk blouse. DH does give me a lot of compliments these days Wink

DD and DH would love a cat and/or dog. I'm not a huge fan of either TBH, I like dogs but detest 'doggy' smell so wouldn't have one in the house. I'm not crazy about cats but at least they don't smell. As we think we will emigrate we have decided to leave it until we move as relocating an animal to Aus or NZ would be horrible for them.

BrandyAlexander · 29/03/2015 12:50

Wow Lib. Honestly that Zara top doesn't look anything special in the picture but just looked amazing on you. That's the benefit of such a great eye!

Karbea, I forgot to say, I hope you get well soon. Oh and get the White jeans. So much more "crisp".Smile

libertychick · 29/03/2015 12:53

Dry personal maintenance is a shocker - I don't think I am high maintenance but hair cut and colour, teeth, glasses, threading and / or ipl for facial hairs and the odd manicure and pedi soon adds up.

libertychick · 29/03/2015 13:12

Thanks again novice. It almost jumped off the rail the day I bought it. It's a good colour and the material is nice, 100% cotton. I'm hoping it washes ok...

Karbea I agree with Novice on white jeans and I think they look great with the autumn colours especially the greens.

MarshaBrady · 29/03/2015 13:19

That mustard is a gorgeous colour, fantastic or autumns.

Taking it easy today, dc at swimming with dh then out to lunch.

Had a great chat with Shop who made me laugh in a good way Grin and I sent the email. Am switching my decision. Eek

Hopefully will all work out!

MarshaBrady · 29/03/2015 13:20

libertychick · 29/03/2015 13:53

Good stuff Marsha good to have the decision made. Shop's a good un when a chat through is needed Smile

Karbea · 29/03/2015 13:58

Shop was that a water app you downloaded? I need to drink more water. Which app was it?

Horrible weather here, raining, so am flicking through the Sunday Times and drinking too much coffee. Wearing comfy clothes today, charcoal Hush lounge pants and a grey slouchy Uniqlo sweat.

Karbea hope you feel well soon. Flowers Also I'm a fan of white jeans/trousers.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 29/03/2015 15:21

Hi all! My sisters have just left. Those of you that are friends with me on fb will have seen the photos Grin (if anyone who's met me wants to, or for wedding pics, add me on fb or pm me!)

We started off with afternoon tea in a private room in a Marriott hotel (with bottomless champagne, goody bags and a naughty pass the parcel), then I was surprised by a Hummer limo (!!! thought it would be so not me, but I loved it!), drove around for an hour drinking more fizz, vodka and shots and hanging out of the window and ended up at a lovely restaurant in Covent Garden, where we had a cocktail making masterclass followed by dinner. It was amazing and I can't believe the effort my bridesmaids went to :) everyone got on so well, and that was the nicest thing really because most people only knew a few others beforehand.

So now the final countdown really is on!

I feel ok today considering, which is a bonus. big fry up helped!

Glad you had a good time last night Dry, sounds lovely and so does the outfit.

Karbea · 29/03/2015 15:31

blair that sounds fab! I always think those limos are cheesy but such fun when you're actually in them! I've not met you, but d love to see your wedding pics hopefully you or one of the other ladies will attach one to here after the big day! It's going to come around super fast now!

shopafrolic · 29/03/2015 16:34

Betty it's called Aqualert . Seems pretty good.
Glad you had fun Blair the Hummer looked awesome

santamarianovella · 29/03/2015 17:39

Yay! blair desperately wanted to hear updates! Sounds fab, I'm not on facebook or any social stuff,

I'm like karbea, I find I'm low maintenance now, i stopped having facials, used to have them every month, I just see my dermatologist 2-3 times a year, and the results are much better, i no longer waste £££ on beauty products, what I use is specifically suitable for my skin and it works, I also don't cut my hair that regularly . my makeup is another thing that I've almost abandoned completely, I wear much less, sometimes nothing, and I don't miss it,and people always say that I don't need it,

I really wished I did that in my 20s, I used to wear makeup all the time,

But the one habit I've acquired is having a PT 3 times a week, I used to just join any class in the gym, but now I need a more personalised workout plan,
Maybe it's my metabolism slowing down now that I'm 31,or my body is not as resilient as it was, but I feel I need it, at least I can express to him my concern areas and he makes a workout based on that, to me its totally worth it,

dry, yes give it some time. maybe it needs a few more days to settle, or maybe you are still bruised from the needle, I know someone who had fillers and it took around a week for results to show, but wow she really looked great,

mara wow! Are you making the crust too? My parents made it a couple of times and they always bought ready made crust, But they never made a salmon shape, more like a loaf! And that was a team effort that took hours!

shop its much easier to have someone you trust completely, telling you what to do,

karbea I've tried a pair of current Elliot fling white trouser, in sugar, they are not white white, but size down a couple of sizes, to get a slimmer fit, as they are boyfriends. But the colour is I think what you are looking for,

marsha , sounds like you've made the right thing.

Raining here too, really looking forward to watch the imitation game later when dcs are in bed, Its going to be the highlight of our weekend.

Karbea · 29/03/2015 18:06

santa I was seeing my pt 4 times a week at one point!
I'll have a look at those, I think winter white might be what I'm after too.

Karbea · 29/03/2015 18:11

santa I've found these but they aren't in my size :(

Karbea · 29/03/2015 18:16

A review on the Saks website says they come up big, I might order the 24 to try.

BrandyAlexander · 29/03/2015 19:02

They look good Karbea.

Completely off topic, but if anyone is doing an Easter Egg hunt for their dcs, can you let me know what rhyming clues you're using?

I have gathered a collection but always on look out for more.

LinusDKD · 29/03/2015 19:08

Evening!

What horrible weather! It's done nothing but rain here today.

karbea I hope you feel better soon, the flu sucks!

blair sounds lik you had a fab time.

novice I was going through all the DC's baby stuff this afternoon to decide what I could give to DBIL and his GF who are having a baby later this year, and I really got quite emotional.

I know I am very lucky with my two little monsters (especially as we struggled to conceive) and I know rationally a third child would not be a good idea. But all those teeny tiny pj's, bodysuits and rattles just made me all broody again even though DH has made it clear another DC is out of the question.

I definitely spend more time and effort on my appearance now that I am fast approaching a significant birthday. As a student I didn't even moisturise on a regular basis and a bit of kohl pencil and mascara was all I did make-up wise.

I don't wear tons of make-up now but I do try and take care of my skin a lot better than before but I would like to find a dermatologist to advise me on what products to use that suit my skin best like santa.

I'm still not spending in anticipation of my upcoming holiday but I did order another Boden Sorrento swimsuit as it was 25% off and I loved mine from last year. And a pair of navy chino shorts might have accidentally fallen in my basket as well. Grin was it cranagh who recommended them on here?

Cranagh · 29/03/2015 20:36

Glad you had a fab time, Blair.

Yep, those shorts are great!

I have no desire for another, my DDs are almost 7 and almost 4 and get on really well (at the moment anyhow).

I don't spend a massive amount on maintenance but maybe I should up it. Wear SPF30 every day though.

No shopping this weekend but think I will order a pair of Elia B silver ballet shoes.

Get well soon, Karbea.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 29/03/2015 20:48

Thanks everyone! Feeling more knackered now. Can't believe it's almost Monday again already.

As I get older I'm definitely more aware that I have to spend more on grooming and maintenance. Lately it's been my skin, I've spent loads on prescriptions, products, new makeup and on seeing santa's dermatologist (thanks again for the recommendation Flowers). I spend the bare minimum on my hair because I detest the upkeep, but that will have to change at some point. Other than that, it's waxing, the occasional manicure, and yes, opticians (not an option!).

Karbea hope you feel better soon.

Mara how did the salmon go?

shopafrolic · 29/03/2015 20:52

How much does it cost to see a dermatologist? Do you only go for problem skin?
