I'm in hairdressers getting colour done. I usually come on a Saturday when it's an older clientele. Today it's full of 20 year olds getting blowdry's. It's so LOUD, everyone gossiping and shouting at the receptionist to turn up music, singing along and one of the hairdressers has just got out a guitar and sang a very funky version of Bob Marley's 'redemption songs' between appointments! It's hilarious and i'm doing Friday afternoon apts from now on

Mara on phone so can't link. The hippo bag is like mini skip but it's a very large yellow canvas bag that the company leave outside your house. You chuck all your junk in and then call them to come and take it away. Good for when you have small scale DIY work going on or a declutter and you can't be faffed with multiple runs to the dump.

Linus DD finds the inhaler very amusing plus she gets stickers for doing it properly. It comes with a mask thing to make it easier for children.

I went out yesterday and bought the best pair of jeans ever, seriously, I'm a new converter to these I think it was sleep,who mentioned them, and I had a code that expires on Saturday,so bought a pair of these and some undies, really pleased with them,

lib after 6 years I still haven't found my favourite hairdresser. Last time was ok but for that price (nearly £100 for a cut and blowdry ) I want it to make me look like Gisèle Bundchen

this denim dress arrived today - very disappointing. Fabric thin and colour rather nasty. Ho hum. Would really like a good denim dress - want it knee length with sleeves and not ridiculously expensive... is like trying to find the holy grail.

Justa, I've got really into spin, the instructor said it is good for your upper body too as your arms are holding your own weight up for an hour. Or how about Pilates? Good for your posture too.

Thanks for all the exercise suggestions. Planking seems like a good option. Is it a case of holding the position for as long as possible? how many times should I repeat it? Spinning sounds effective may look into that for when ds is at school in sept. No child free time at the moment as I am at work when ds at nursery and dh gets home too late in the eve for me to go to a class.

I have had a hankering for a pale blue fine knit jumper since seeing this one from me and em but would be too short for me so I got this one from whistles www.whistles.com/women/clothing/knitwear/mai-asymmetric-hem-knit-18806.html?dwvar_mai-asymmetric-hem-knit-18806_color=Pale%20Blue#start=1 it is not as nice a knit as me and em but it is a better length. I had to size up in it as it is quite stretchy. Was defo not worth the original price tag. Whistles prices are cuckoo.

Linus I was in your neck of the woods yesterday. first time I have been there when the weather has been good. wow. just beautiful! would have got in touch but arrived at 10.30 straught to meeting 11 til 4.30pm. Took off at 6.15pm, back home to do bedtime stories!
