I'm not doing Stans Betty. Went cheapo and bought some £20 off white plimsolls with a kakhi trim in Next for £20.

Dry I am very interested in your botox updates. Really want to see a picture. Mara I am impressed at how cool you are about yours. If I did it I would probably decide not to tell DH and then it would all get too much for me and I'd blurt it out.

Poor DD has asthma Sad she has been coughing at night for a few weeks so DH brought her to GP today. She has been prescribed an inhaler so fingers crossed for some sleep tonight.

maradesbois · 26/03/2015 22:59

Stokey I've 5 episodes left to go, no idea how it will go just how I hope it will go! Lucky childminder with the j brands btw.

Cranagh like your shorts too & loved the comptoir jacket you linked the other day.

Blair glad you're feeling well and all the wedding stuff is coming together. So exciting. I put a bottle of our wedding day white wine in the fridge to have with dh when he's home tomorrow, will raise a glass to you [white]Wine. Ds's spots have pretty much dried up so should no longer be contagious but going to keep him in over the weekend just to be sure.

Night all.

Drywhiteplease · 26/03/2015 23:02

Stokey and Mara 2 episodes of HoC to go. Not at all riveting but need to finish. Really don't like any of the characters Sad

maradesbois · 26/03/2015 23:03

Oh no [lib], poor dd but hope the inhalers helps. My sister had asthma as child but grew out of it, think that can often be the case.

Dh doesn't even understand fake tan so no chance with injectables Grin.

shopafrolic · 26/03/2015 23:42

Just a quickie as just got in from pub and am merry. Marsha any job news? What did you decide?

Glad chickenpox us clearing up mara

So close Blair how exciting !

Ended up taking the kids to the zoo yesterday. Figured it will be busy next week with Easter holidays so to go when it's quieter. There were a few school groups there and one was a group of girls around 16 years old I think. All I could think was how glad I am not a teenager now! They were all fully made up and retouching their make up at the cafe and carrying designer bags. The school they were from is a local comp so similar to one I went too and I would never have been able to afford one at that age. Seems so much more pressure on young girls now than when I was one (15 years ago)

Sorry emma I have reported your messages. If you wish to join for chat you are very welcome, but not for advertising.

Fedupnagging · 27/03/2015 07:41

Also reported for the same reason Emma

Now is not the time to notice a fake tan fail on feet aaagggghhh. Oh well, too late to do anything about it now and hopefully it won't look so bad by the time I reach the final destination.

Hopefully I'll find time to pop in every now and again but have a good Easter everyone and Blair have a fabulous, fabulous day Wine Smile Flowers and am looking forward to the post wedding MU for the photos!

MarshaBrady · 27/03/2015 08:05

Morning, I have been stretched by my decision. I accepted one, but the other came back to me and now we're talking again and I might switch.

They are chalk and cheese and my experience / direction is in the middle. Hard to decide. But now leaning towards the one that has more current thinking, and from which I can learn more.

Tricky. I keep switching in my mind!

Have a great holiday Fedup

Morning all - head hurts. Why do I get hangovers now? Oh to be 20 again.

shopafrolic · 27/03/2015 08:20

But how fab that they are fighting for you Marsha :) Have you got a deadline?

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 27/03/2015 08:25

Shop I thought I had to rush it due to someone going on holiday, but I shouldn't have. They are both keen to start soon, but I probably can't until after Easter holidays which are crazily long.

I have the call this morning with the other agency, will have a frank chat about it all.

Will be back to normal posting soon and catch up properly when I stop thinking about it too much. Also the kitchen is done. So that's the other thing finished. It looks nice. And the kitchen fitter sent me flowers for my patience!

shopafrolic · 27/03/2015 09:07

Good stuff about kitchen. Go with your gut on the job. Flowers

BerniceBobsHerHair · 27/03/2015 09:40

Hi all

Don't think am going to be able to catch up but waves to all.

Dry wow very fast work on the botox. I am like most on here and would consider it for 11s. £200 doesn't seem as much as I thought it would be. DH would be very anti.

Lots happening here in the next few weeks. Blair I didn't realise your wedding was so soon. Very exciting. And One (if you are reading this!) and FedUp hope you have fab holidays. Shop yours must be coming up soon too?

Those joggers are definitely up my street, thanks for linking. I have some leather ones from Topshop, DH always mutters about DFS when I wear them.

He must share a sense of humour with Mara's DH Grin

Good luck with the job decision Marsha I am bad at making choices like that when there is no clear obvious 'winner'.

Linus I was thinking of getting that shirt as it looks a good colour but I think it will be a bit too classic looking for me.

Ooh Lib I was going to share my musings about comfortable shoes but it seems that the Gabor ones and the ones Cranagh suggested are working out for you. I have bought some from moshulu some nice ones mixed in. I like the doughnut boot.

Today am wearing my superstars (I have navy Stans), burgundy leopard print jeans, white top and trying out my blazer for outside which I am STILL umming and ahhing about.

libertychick · 27/03/2015 11:03

Thanks for the links Bernice. Comfy shoes are going to be 'my thing'! Bookmarking all recommendations for future reference. Burgundy leopard print jeans sound good

Lots of Brew shop. Age and booze just don't mix do they? I risked a glass of wine at a business lunch yesterday and was shattered all afternoon. DD is fine thanks. Enjoying the novelty of the inhaler and it has made a difference already. Only one coughing fit last night.

Have a great holiday fedup.

Marsha good news on the jobs! Definitely take a bit of time to take the decision.

OOTD navy cropped Whistles peg trousers, peach Gap shirt semi tucked, trench coat, brown Missoni scarf, new leopard print loafers. Love it! Was bouncing along thinking I look great then remembered that I am ovulating and I always think i am gorgeous at that TOM Grin. Anyone else do that?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 27/03/2015 11:23

Lib I got a Baukjen catalogue yesterday and noticed they sell those Elia B shoes. That outfit sounds fab! I never realise I'm behaving differently at different times of the month until after the event... no idea how old I will need to get before I realise that sort of stuff.

Marsha how nice (but stressful) to have a few offers to choose between. I agree with shop, go with your gut and the one which offers the right work life balance. Great news on the kitchen!

Have a great time fedup, I will be sure to update lots!

My hen do is tomorrow. I know nothing about it Shock except that we are catching a train to London at midday. One of my sisters is staying over tonight and the other is coming over tomorrow so we can get ready together. Going to wear my Zarita and cobalt Aquazzuras.
(I stretched them the other day, using the socks and hairdryer method and was amazed, never tried it before!)

maradesbois · 27/03/2015 14:01

Hello,

Have a fabulous holiday Fedup.

Marsha how exciting to be so in demand. Take your time to decide what's right.

Bernice haha yes, as in one that's not always a laughing matter Grin.

Lib love the sound of you OOTD. Never noticed effect of ovulation on mood either way but I do feel more attuned to when it's happening, the small pain, never used to notice that. What is a hippo bag btw?

Blair enjoy your hen do, great outfit.

No fashion news, have Elle magazine to browse though this afternoon. Also menu planning for big family pre-Easter lunch on Sun. For main course am going to do salmon en croute in the shape of a fish!! Never attempted it before, sounds fiddly rather than difficult.

LinusDKD · 27/03/2015 14:07

Hi!

Your poor DD lib! How is she coping with the inhaler?

fedup have a great holiday!

blair your hen night is tomorrow already?! Have fun and your outfit sounds great.

shop hair of the dog tonight? Wink

marsha good news about the kitchen and good luck with whatevef job you decide to go for.

No interesting OOTT from as as I'm stuck indoors with a poorly DS.

I did see some gorgeous Chanel heels in VogueFrance but I can't find them on their website so here's a teeny photo.

Not practical at all as they are mainly satin but I just adore the shape.

Hi all
I would love to know what the sock and hairdryers method for stretching shoes is. I have a pair of Tory Burch flats (not the ones with the massive logo disc) that are a bit too small. I have been wearing them round the house to stretch them but no good so far.
Hope you have a great hen do Blair so exciting only 2 weeks!!!
Love the sound of your outfit Lib I might try some EliaB shoes.
Marsha well done on job offers.
Mara glad ds is better. I don't notice that TOM either although I do know when I am premenstrual pretty much straight away due to the bloat and general greasiness.
I think the time has come for me to do some proper exercise. I badly need to tone up. Can anyone recommend something that will tone me up esp tummy, arms and shoulders? Don't need to lose weight as I am 5 ft 7 and weigh about 8st 5 which sounds really low but is normal for me. I don't think my slouching helps matters but don't suppose much can be done about that now.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 27/03/2015 14:41

Nice shoes Linus, they remind me of these Valentino pumps.

justa I'd only read about it before, you put on socks (I started with 1 pair and then put on another, that was enough) and then put on the too-tight shoes. Heat up with the hairdryer and wiggle your feet around. My shoes are sandals, and it was just the front strap that was too tight. They really loosened up! I think suede stretches better than leather too.

Re toning up, what about something like the 30 day shred DVD? It is aimed at weight loss but probably wouldn't make much of a difference if you don't need to lose any, especially if you didn't do it every single day.
