My DC aren't really old enough yet to realise but they will have to divide their loyalties between my country of birth, DH's country of birth and their country of birth.

I think they'll just choose the sportsperson/team most likely to win that's what I would do anyway Grin

Wearing black Paige Hoxton skinnies and a J Crew chambray shirt today. This morning with bikers as it was raining but it's clearing up now so I'll probably wear them with ballet flats later.

Stokey · 25/03/2015 11:46

I tend to support Sri Lanka in the cricket (DM) and Ireland in the rugby (DF) and England everywhere else - but if I'm honest I do really feel more English and will never feel as elated by an Irish/Sri lankan win as England.

The one rule we have is never support Australia Grin where all my SL family now live.

I've won a pair of JBrand Lovestory's on Ebay and am waiting for delivery but they've been cut to 28". A bit concerned they may be too short so will happily pass them on if they are.

Hello everyone, had a lovely weekend away with DH and DD2.
First day back to work this afternoon and having a what to wear dilemma. Obviously want to make a good impression but still have issues with wobbly baby belly. Should have thought this through earlier but wanted to enjoy my last day of freedom yesterday and went walking in the sunshine. Bedroom looks like a jumble sale I have far too many clothes that don't work together. Right rant over I'm refocusing and starting again wish me luck.

santamarianovella · 25/03/2015 12:01

liberty have you tried geox? They have some nice comfortable shoes,my mum buys some of their shoes,

ellis I live in Germany, and although you can find pubs, and English inspired eateries here, its just not the same,

We are the same when it comes to loyalties in sporting events, I come from two countries, dh parents and grandparents do too, but we just cheer for Netherlands as they are ACE, sorry linus Wink,

It's 12c here today woohoo! No coat! Wearing Stella M navy sweater with black skinny trousers, and my faithful trench!

bettykt · 25/03/2015 12:23

Good luck with back to work Mary hope it goes nice and smoothly for you. Come back and tell is what you wore

Me and dh both come from different countries and dc have mixed loyalties whenever they play each other. They generally opt for dh's team.

OOTD black cigarette pants, black crew neck jumper, leopard print belt on trousers, R&B black ballet flats.

Have a great trip One

Some great links on here recently, especially the Jil Sander bag.

shopafrolic · 25/03/2015 12:35

Good luck this afternoon Mynameis - I hate outfit panics so feel your pain. Keep it simple and comfortable. Hope you enjoy.
Selling off my Autumn coloured wardrobe on local Facebook pages. (no fees unlike EBay). Wept as I handed my khaki Whistles dress over..... Would love to find that in black.

Good luck mynameismary!

Karbea · 25/03/2015 14:13

shop couldn't you dye some of your clothes.

Karbea · 25/03/2015 14:19

fedup agree the flight will be very hard for the crew and many of the passengers. So heartbreaking watching the news. I've flown with germanwings hundreds of times and they are very German efficient, I guess it must have been a very bad technical fault.
My male dog drives me nutty when dh is out, he's definitely man of the house. Any little noise and he is barking, he walks around on patrol. Bless him!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 25/03/2015 14:27

Hope it goes well Mary :)

MarshaBrady · 25/03/2015 14:34

Good luck Mary!

I've spent the day negotiating flexibility for the job I choose. Has to happen, I'm used to it!

libertychick · 25/03/2015 14:52

Well done Marsha. Get what you want agreed upfront!

Good luck Mary Smile

Santa I have bookmarked geox - they seem to have nice ballet flats.

I love my new Gabor shoes!!! Have done a lot of running around today and they are a winner!

Karbea · 25/03/2015 15:26

Do you think this shirt would make your boobs look huge?

Ellisisland · 25/03/2015 15:31

I think it would depend how you wore it karbea if you did it up I inagine it could do. I am big boobed though and have a few marant shirts that don't make me look matron like.

Question for everyone ; what do you wear as a cover up in spring evenings when it's too warm to wear coats but light cardigans / shawls are not enough ?

QueenQueenie · 25/03/2015 15:53

A coatigan Ellis... like this one I bought recently.. it's good.

Karbea · 25/03/2015 16:06

Normally a blazer or I've a thick linen jacket that I've worn three times, as the weather is never quite right!

Fedupnagging · 25/03/2015 16:58

Did I miss something Marsha?

I think you would have to try the shirt on karbea and it would depend on how you style it.

Ellis it depends on what I am doing and where I am but I have a couple of jackets to choose from, a blanket cardigan thing(sooo cosy) and a couple of capes. During the day I have been known to wear a gilet Blush

shopafrolic · 25/03/2015 17:03

Zayn has left One Direction - my niece is going to be devastated Hmm

libertychick · 25/03/2015 17:06

Trench coat, leather biker jacket or a knitted biker jacket Ellis. I would love a poncho or a coatigan.

Karbea definitely need to try the shirt on. I think it wouldn't suit someone very busty but depends on the placement of the pockets.

libertychick · 25/03/2015 17:07

Ah your poor niece Shop dreading the years when this stuff will matter to DD

Ellisisland · 25/03/2015 17:31

shop I remember when they set up helplines for fans to call when Take That split up !

Love that coatigan Queen I need something like that I think.

Cranagh · 25/03/2015 17:33

DD1 was shouting "Engerland" during the world cup, Liberty (she gets it from school!), DH's face was a picture, I was in stitches.

Hope your first day back went well, Mary.

Sale at Comptoir today (you may need to sign up to their website to see the discounts) so ordered this jacket. Very tempted by Shop's dress and loads more but no money left!

Cranagh · 25/03/2015 17:37

Have a great holiday, One.

shopafrolic · 25/03/2015 18:01

Cranagh - I've signed in but can't see reductions. Never received an email..... how does that work? Is my dress reduced by much? :(
