For dry

I think I will get both nasolabial lines and marionette lines looking at my DPs. Sad

MN Vogue - volume 56
LinusDKD · 24/03/2015 20:25

kenzo sweater

It just feels so snuggly IRL.

santa I love British food as well! Full English (sans baked beans), sticky toffee pudding, British cheeses, fish pie, etc etc.

LinusDKD · 24/03/2015 20:26

I've just realised that sweater is the same icy pink like the shirt I ordered. I just love that colour.

libertychick · 24/03/2015 20:27

Oh Santa you have me craving a full English now!!

Karbea it is hard to find white jeans that are not see through - puts me off them too.

libertychick · 24/03/2015 20:28

I like that sweater a lot Linus Smile

maradesbois · 24/03/2015 20:41

Karbea yes, the doc told me that some people actually ask to look botoxed Hmm which I really don't get. Pointless aside- imagine not being able to do a Hmm face! He tells them no so as not to damage his reputation.

Fedupnagging · 24/03/2015 20:42

The September Issue was very interesting but I found AW a little strange, don't know why and a bit rude at times? Also hadn't realised just how powerful she is within the fashion industry. GC seems lovely and it was fascinating to watch her at work.

Santa glad your foot is better.

Queen get the bag!

What great description of your Botox - am now not tempted AT ALL. Linus I have marionette lines but haven't got to the stage of hating them yet. Am sure I will though in the next few years. Be interested to hear how your consultation goes tomorrow Dry.

Mara lovely brogue links. Can you take ds to the park/playground first thing when it's empty? Hopefully it will wear him out and you'll have another quiet day.

Lib those Gabor shoes are ok - not as bad as I thought they would be. Definitely try some brogues. Love the leopard print too.

Blair the gold sugar is a nice idea but where on earth will you find the time to sugar the rims of x amount of glasses?!

MarshaBrady · 24/03/2015 20:52

She did do a look that was completely bored at times. Must be awful as someone who puts in everything to be at the receiving end. The scene where she says to the girl everything looks the same change it, made me squirm for the girl.

If you are creative, I can think of other places that would be better.

santamarianovella · 24/03/2015 21:09

Anyone watching poldark? Do you feel it's a bit boring or is it only me? Does it get better? I've just watched it and thought it was meh,

linus yes sans baked beans of course, its just vile,

Regarding the sweater, its a really beautiful colour,

liberty, as soon as I'm in London I'm having one!

This English food love topic, reminded me of the first time,I read on one of those black boards outside of pubs "today's special etc etc and for pudding spotted dick" I thought it was a joke! That maybe aregular messed up with the board and was being crude, I was surprised to find out its really a dish,

marsha oh god yes! Imagine putting all your effort into a presentation knowing that it will be criticised . I always look on to people expression, even if I'm not the one presenting, any minor detection of losing interest, can really be deflating,

AmberNectarine · 24/03/2015 21:43

Linus I have that Eiffel Tower print on a t-shirt. Have had it a year or two but still wear it relatively often.

Cranagh · 24/03/2015 22:10

Liberty it's a full Irish! Love all the leopard print.

I didn't order the shirt, Linus, must have been someone else.

I will be taking action if I get jowls, wrinkles don't bother me (not yet anyway - I may change my mind!).

I love pink bags, QueenC, go for it

Cranagh · 24/03/2015 22:12

I've been watching Poldark, it's not amazing but watchable and beautiful scenery.

justasecond · 24/03/2015 22:17

Poldark is a bit meh but watchable if just to drool at Aidan Turner so pretty

Lib I like those EliaB shoes, hope they work out for you. I went to a podiatrist recently to get my feet seen to and it has made such a difference. Corns (sorry!) on my little toes were making any shoe really uncomfortable. I had tried all the home remedies to no avail. As mentioned before I share Marsha's foot phobia so for me exposing my feet to anyone was a huge huge thing but I was desperate. I told the podiatrist I hated feet and she said mine were the best she had seen all day Wink
One Hope you have a fabulous holiday!!

justasecond · 24/03/2015 22:21

I am getting jowls and maroinette lines. Everthing else is not too bad atm. It is worse when I put on a few pounds as it goes on my face first. I saw a youtube video about facial exercises and do them when I remember. I think you have to do them a lot and regularly for it to make a difference.

Drywhiteplease · 24/03/2015 22:35

Well, thought AW rude, bored, horrid woman. Grace was lovely. The bloke was hysterical playing tennis with all his LV., love Jean Paul G, hated how the YSL designer just pulled the model over to show the stitching on the garment, fashion shows were the best bit.......really not such a nice world.

Poldark, Poldark!!! I have to agree sadly, AT is fab, Damelza is strumming, Cornwall is beautiful but it's a bit cringey in places and predictable ....still, can't wait for next episode.

libertychick · 24/03/2015 22:58

Ooops sorry Cranagh I've been here too long!! I was laughing the other day when you said about getting your DDs to cheer for Ireland in the rugby. My DD has dad urging her to cheer for NZ and me telling her to cheer for Ireland. She quite often gets stubborn and tells us that she is English!

justa I hate the idea of a podiatrist but you are right I should do it. Both my little toes have corns and no amount of home treatment is going to sort it.

one I should have said earlier hope you have a fantastic holiday. I can't wait to hear all about it.

LinusDKD · 25/03/2015 05:14

Morning!

cranagh sorry, it was bernice who ordered the shirt not you!

amber, good to know you still wear the tee. I'll put the sweatshirt on my wishlist as I've got other things I 'need' to buy first.

One of them is a black belt to wear with white jeans as I have been watching too many pics of French Vogue editors

one have a great holiday!

Ellisisland · 25/03/2015 06:23

Morning all up at the crack of dawn again

Really tempted by these j brand jeans. Love that flares are coming back in again. denimology.com/2009/03/still_in_progress_denim_trend_for_spring_light_denim

lib my DH is irish and is always getting DS to cheer for Ireland. Quite funny when he goes to nursery and tells all his friends to cheer for them as well. I got told by his teacher one of the other parents had asked why his son had come home saying that he has to support Ireland and never England Blush

Haven't watched any Poldark but have heard good things. Am doing a phased return to work from mat leave so end up watching Netflix a lot on trains and planes instead!

santa where abouts are you living? I lived in the Middle East for a while pre-DC and there where times when I would have cheerfully sold an organ for full English / Irish breakfast !

Enjoy your holiday one

Fedupnagging · 25/03/2015 06:58

Ugh, I've been awake since 5am when dh left to catch a flight (Germanwings so guess crew will be very somber) at which point the dog started howling for some reason. He then went back to sleep and I didn't Hmm

Ellis those flares look great for spring. I definitely want a pair of flares but not found any yet in a short length. Will look properly when I get back after Easter and have more time.

shopafrolic · 25/03/2015 09:01

Morning all - freezing cold today. Ankles are out but may have to change. I have Poldark recorded but haven't got round to watching yet as we are on the Good Wife and will then hit season 3 of HoC.
Have a great break One

maradesbois · 25/03/2015 09:15

Morning!

Fedup the plane crash was probably at the back of your mind stopping you sleeping. What a tragedy, seems to be a freak accident.

One have a wonderful, wonderful holiday, hope the change of scene does you good and you come back refreshed.

Ellis like those jeans. I have the mih skinny marrakesh but still need to get them taken up. What I miss most food wise in the Middle East is a glass of wine in a non hotel restaurant!

libertychick · 25/03/2015 09:20

Morning all. Tired here too. DD was coughing all night and wide awake since 5am.

Ellis that's funny re nursery. I sing Irish songs to DD and she apparently sings them to her nursery group. One of the Indian Dad's told DH the other day that his child is now baffling their grandparents with garbled versions of 'Danny Boy' Grin It made me review my mental song list to make sure I am not singing anything anti English Blush

Ujjayi · 25/03/2015 09:21

Morning all Smile
Freezing here too. Am wrapped up in yoga layers ready for a session later this morning.

Fedup - always strange taking a flight day after a crash but particularly with the same airline. On a lighter note...my dog goes on hyper alert when DH is out too & will growl & bark at every teeny tiny movement of grass etc in the garden. Drives me nuts!

Also have you tried the TS Jamie flares? They come up quite short in the leg. My legs are short & I could have easily worn them with flats without them dragging on the ground.

Ellis - my DCs have always had confused friends when it comes to supporting national teams too as they support Netherlands. DH is dutch & has always insisted that DCs support NL. He even dressed them in orange babygros during matches. They did support Team GB through the olympics tho - which was funny as we had tickets for the mens hockey which turned out to be NL v GB! DH was a vision in orange (he even wore orange espadrilles!) & we were all red white & blue.

Fedupnagging · 25/03/2015 10:39

Mara you are probably right-I know plane crashes are rare but it still doesn't stop that niggling worry when one has just occurred.

Ujjayi hadn't thought about TS jeans so will have a look.

Have done a huge pile of ironing and started to pack my case - having said I needed more dresses, I actually seem to be taking far too much. I will go back later to cull; I need space to bring new clothes gifts home.

Am off to meet up with some friends soon and ootd is skinnies, white shirt and navy sweater with bare ankles . Oh and supergas.

Ellisisland · 25/03/2015 10:44

Glad I'm not the only one who is raising kids with divided sports loyalties Grin
lib I have had to warn DH when he was singing songs once that we may not want DS repeating certain lines!

Ujjayi that's funny! DH gets both our boys dressed in green everytime Ireland play

fedup Hudson jeans come in short and they have really nice flared ones as well.
