Was out last night and had about 20 lychee martinis - feel shocking today!

Going out with DH tonight so need to recover quickly. No idea what I'll wear! Going for tapas and karaoke! The lovely man sent me some beautiful flowers as well :)

My favourite body part is my waist - a tiny 24.5ins. Also have good shoulders from years of swim training. I will definitely be getting botox this year and would consider surgery in the future - 5y of bf has taken a bit of a toll!

OneLittleLady · 14/02/2015 11:13

I'll be on skype later with Dp as he couldn't come up this weekend as he has to work today Sad it's not so bad I guess, I can have a dinner of my choosing and slob in my pjs so theres an upside

Amber where are you thinking of getting the botox? you are gorgeous as you are IMHO

Ujjayi · 14/02/2015 12:34

Currently walking around house with one knee high boot & one ankle boot trying to decide which works best...please say I'm not the only one who does this!

shopafrolic · 14/02/2015 13:05

If it makes you feel better Ujjayi I've just got back from Schuh where I had a black Adidas Superstar shoe on one foot and a white on the other.
Then I tried the wedge version v the flat version. And in the end I couldn't buy what I wanted instore as I needed a 7.5 and they don't stock half sizes. So i've ordered these in white with the black stripe. Love them.
Have you made a decision?

OP posts:
Karbea · 14/02/2015 13:26

Yes I definitely do that, I've even been known to wear two trousers one leg in one, one in the other...

MarshaBrady · 14/02/2015 13:27

Yes I do that for sure, and I make dh decide. Anyone else make their dh decide?

shopafrolic · 14/02/2015 13:32

Not on outfits Marsha but I often ask his opinion on stuff I've ordered and am unsure about.
love the look in this pic. Who says Autumn colours can't be cool?

Not on outfits really here, just the two shoe thing.

santamarianovella · 14/02/2015 14:06

I do that almost on a daily basis ujjayi yesterday I wore a cream vanessa bruno shirt dress that goes well with knee high boots and ankle ones, took me forever to make my mind up,and when I put my coat on I decided that it looks wrong, and need to change boots again!

We have no valentines day plans whatsoever But we did go out for run this morning, and had a quick breakfast afterwards , was freezing, but sunny, so refreshing to sit out by the lake with coffee after a run, so calm at that time , skipped the cafe's dubious looking muffin and had Greek yogurt and banana instead, feeling virtuous ,

marsha i can't ask dh to decide,as he has really classic taste, plus he hated my chloe loafers and made silly juvenile remarks about them which made me feel awful , so I know better than to ask him about shoes stuff, Wink

amber I don't see any need for Botox too, you look great.

santamarianovella · 14/02/2015 14:18

And good news about your cholesterol levels, eggs are good for you, but not daily

Karbea · 14/02/2015 15:00

I've just asked dh if he thought the cashmere jumper fitted ok, he said it's a non descript sludge colour, so that needs to be returned too...
So of my large order it's only the Tracksuit bots, bikini and maybe the red MK dress (which I'll try on tonight) which I'm keeping... Will need to try harder next week ;)

Fedupnagging · 14/02/2015 15:30

Never mind the fish knives Dry I think you may need to hide ALL knivesGrin

What footwear did you decide in the end Ujjayi? Sorry your dh is in the doghouse. I believe that you can get posts removed from FB so could you ask him to do that?

We left ds1 babysitting the other 2 from 14yrs if we were out locally. Once we were confident about that, we left him in charge if we went further afield too. We used to spend a fortune on babysitters; thank god those years are over!

That's a fierce outfit Shop.

Sounds like you had a nice start to the day Santa.

We are in tonight with a waitrose valentines special. Dh is watching the rugby, beer in hand and doesn't intend to move until both matches are over whereupon he'll probably fall asleep Hmm.

libertychick · 14/02/2015 15:57

Pure Collection skirt order has arrived.

This pencil skirt is a keeper. Beautiful kingfisher blue, perfect length (below knee but not midi) and really good fit.

Also keeping this A-line skirt. Great colour, again good length (knees well covered without being frumpy). I had ordered both 12 and 14. 12 fits but catching very slightly on saddlebags attractive. Keeping the 14 and will get it adjusted to get the fit right.

Cord skirt and velvet skirt both going back. Was disappointed about the velvet one as it's a great colour and it actually looks a bit like suede IRL but the positioning of the pockets is all wrong and just made me look wider than I am.

Ujjayi you had asked for report back on them - I would definitely order from them again, the skirts all seem good quality, arrived very quickly, everything nicely wrapped. Sizing a bit generous IMO, I'm usually a 12 but 14 on hips ATM and the 12's just fitted me.

LinusDKD · 14/02/2015 16:09

I love that A line skirt lib!

ujjayi I just followed you back on Pin. Well, I think it's you anyway. Smile

Whenever I ask DH advice on which shoes to wear he always goes for the ones with the highest heel. Hmm

amber you don't need botox!

I have been considering botox for my 11's but I haven't really looked into it as nobody I know has had it done and I would only do it consider it if I knew a really good dermatologist (who wouldn't freeze my face)

Same with my boobs, they aren't as firm anymore as before I had the DC so I googled that procedure where they use your own bodyfat to 'plump them up' (so no implants) but, again, I haven't taken it any further.

I guess those things bother me but not enough to actually do something about them.

I am happier in my own skin now than when I was in my twenties when I weighed considerably less, had magnificent boobs, a flat tummy and no wrinkles.

OneLittleLady · 14/02/2015 16:11

well, my suitcase is now packed, just need to put my sandals and toilettries in it and then it's done. six weeks until i fly but i like to be super prepared, i don't want to get in a last minute panic and be rushing around the morning i lave for the airport trying to find last minute things

lovely skirts lib especially love the kingfisher blue one

libertychick · 14/02/2015 16:19

Wow that is organised One!

OneLittleLady · 14/02/2015 16:27

I'd rather have it ready now than be chucking stuff at random into the suitcase the day before im due to leave haha! there's a couple of bits to go in the daybefore i leave as i wear them often but other than that, its just shoes and make up etc to be put in. I've only got a small case so packing is strict, not too much but not too little either as I'm away for two weeks and my medication makes me perspire something awful Sad

libertychick · 14/02/2015 16:30

Linus I am struggling to figure out where they would take the body fat from for your boobs!!

LinusDKD · 14/02/2015 16:57

From your thighs or belly or bottom I would imagine lib. They wouldn't have any trouble finding enough fat on me in those areas Wink

I think it would be a good solution for me as I don't want bigger breasts (very happy with my B cup) but I do miss them being perky and fuller.

But, as I said, it doesn't bother me enough yet to do something about it.

Fedupnagging · 14/02/2015 17:02

Wow, One you are super organised. I go away in 6 weeks and so far,
this is all I have bought!

Will dig out my summer clothes tomorrow to see what I need to buy. Definitely sunglasses as I broke yet another pair a few weeks ago.

Lib I like both the skirts you have kept especially the A line with exposed zip.

Linus I'm not sure you actually have any body fat. However, I'd be willing to gift mine [grin

OneLittleLady · 14/02/2015 17:04

where are you going Fedup?

linus I'll donate you some body fat, I have plenty to spare! Wink

Karbea · 14/02/2015 17:09

I think I saw that Op on a plastic surgery programme I was watching the other day. The girl had liposuction from her thighs and tum and then had the fat squirted into her boobs. She was happy with the result.

OneLittleLady · 14/02/2015 17:20

Right, bikini is int he case. don't know if i'll be brave enough to wear it but it's there as an option if i feel like i can bare that much flesh

just had macaroni cheese with loads of black pepper, it was so good but it's not something i have often as it is so chock full of calories

Drywhiteplease · 14/02/2015 17:25

liberty I saw the Pure collection zip a line skirt in our local shop before Christmas, thought it was really lovely then, still do.
Ujj I have an animal print flat pointy shoe on one foot, a silver pointy flat on other......love both, prob won't ask opinions as I'm feeling that I might keep both Shock I'm under a LOT of pressure you understand!

Ok....have located fish knives.

shopafrolic · 14/02/2015 17:36

I don't even know how long it is until I go away! Easter. Whenever that is. Need to go through all my summer stuff too. As I bought a lot new last summer but it's all in Lib's wardrobe now Grin
I hate the ads at the top of the MN mobile page. It keeps showing me Adidas Superstars. I feel like screaming "I'VE BOUGHT THEM ALREADY!!!!!"
