Ujj you really should go to the MU if you can make it. The ladies on here are lovely, I wentnto the last one and was the only 'newbie' and everyone made me feel really welcome. It did make me chuckle being called Betty Grin unfortunately I can't make this one Sad

Well done Shop on the boots, what a good feeling

Karbea hope tomorrow goes well. Do you have an idea of your style already?

Blair hope you manage to finfd the right bra.

My MD bag turned up, I haven't opened it yet. It's a shame TS don't use Hermes Ujj as the delivery drivers just seem to throw my parcels over my side gate, they did it with this bag and also with a Nespresso machine Shock regardless of whether I'm in.

maradesbois · 25/02/2015 21:15

Blair I would practice wearing it before the day to check the staying power. I only had one once to wear with a green backless dress from ts, god I loved that dress, burnt it with the iron. Like someone else said (fedup?) I had a slight feeling of unease all night but it didn't fall off. Does your dress really need a bra?

Watching Brits, Paloma is indeed fab. Kanye is coming on, here we go he'll do something stupid but at least it'll shake things up a bit!

Ujjayi don't be nervous, everyone is lovely and would be fantastic to meet you.

bettykt · 25/02/2015 21:16

Fogot to say I really like that top Fedup

Blair sorry to gear you're feel rough Flowers

libertychick · 25/02/2015 21:19

Poor you Blair. Can you take a couple of days off work sick and try and rest? It might be worth seeing your GP, stomach pain for a week should probably be checked out.

I've talked about this on here before but I really cannot recommend Headspace highly enough. It has made a huge difference to how well I handle stress.

Ujjayi · 25/02/2015 21:19

Am properly LOLing at Blair GrinGrin. Sorry my lovely, but I really had to think "woah tights & vest only to a MU??!!"

Justa - come on, we can do this together GrinWink

justasecond · 25/02/2015 21:20

Blair I was bloated like that last week mainly due to eating too much crap in HT. I have started taking high strength accidophillus (sp?) supplements and I feel so much better.

justasecond · 25/02/2015 21:23

Ujj - just checked and my friends are coming on the 21st so I suppose I could make it.....but what would I wear???

Drywhiteplease · 25/02/2015 21:25

Blair lovely, it's stress . Right, you need mint tea, no caffeine, and gargle with diluted TCP revolting, stinks house out, DH won't want to kiss you, but it's miraculous and kills any germs. Whenever I get a sore throat beginning of a cold I do this and it never develops vitamin C, early nights if poss after a relaxing bath.

Karbea · 25/02/2015 21:25

I have just eaten a whole one of these, I'm bloated fat and feel sick now.

And please would someone mind giving me ideas of what to wear on top with my leather skinnies for evenings that cover my crotch Shock and derrière. I need styling ideas.

libertychick · 25/02/2015 21:29

Gah I am so annoyed to be missing this MU. I would love to meet Stokey, Karbea, Ujjayi and Justa.

Everyone always looks great but never intimidating and all very different styles.

LinusDKD · 25/02/2015 21:35

I'm annoyed too lib, I would have loved to have made the MU! and gone on a shopping spree in London

Drywhiteplease · 25/02/2015 21:38

Me too...more than you know. I'm in need of a weekend away from being an adult.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 25/02/2015 21:38

Lol Ujj I didn't realise it would have read like that! That would definitely have been an ice breaker.

I can't take any time off unfortunately lib, I'm committed to something for the next couple of weeks with a deadline soon after. I have downloaded Headspace but have yet to set up an account Blush

shopafrolic · 25/02/2015 21:41

Evening all. Second pilates class in two days. I hurt.
Ujjayi booze + nerves + heels have landed me in difficulties tis true. Nods knowingly with Marsha Grin
Everyone is lovely. Some dress up, I usually dress down - skinnies, tee. We're a really friendly bunch and all v different, it's great fun.
Dry I've worn mine with chunky long sweaters, untucked silk shirt, J Crew tee part tucked. With my Joseph ones (the traditional leathers) I always have crotch and bum covered. With the more suede like ones (Helmut Lang) I don't have to worry so much as they fit better.

This Reiss top Dry?

justasecond · 25/02/2015 21:41

Oh that's a shame Lib and Linus would have loved to meet you too!

shopafrolic · 25/02/2015 21:42

Whoever was asking about dresses.... No purchases yet. DH and I were talking about going to Bicester in a couple of weeks to see what's there. He wants to get some TODs - do they still have a store there? I haven't been for a couple of years.....

Fedupnagging · 25/02/2015 21:47

maradesbois · 25/02/2015 21:56

Blair great advice from auntie Dry. I feel soothed just reading her take charge like that!

I nearly cancelled coming to mu earlier, it was really awkward with dh's travel schedule but so glad I'm coming now. Will miss those who can't be there but hope to meet lots of newbies.

Shop yes, tod's still at Bicester.

Fedupnagging · 25/02/2015 21:56

What about this Dry? I have it in both cream and black and wear either under a cropped jumper or on their own with a long necklace.

justasecond · 25/02/2015 21:57
