queen I think I have that Hobbs dress from last year but with thick blue and white strips. lib if you like it! I can recommend it.

QueenCardigan · 22/02/2015 09:39

any good for you autumns?. There seems to be loads of autumn colours around.

Ujjayi · 22/02/2015 09:42

Morning all.

Love that dress Linus. Not sure that my deflated C cups would work in it sadly.

QueenC that clutch is gorgeous.

Agree that WIT was swamped by yesterday's outfit. Imagine, Harvey Nicks agrees to dress you for LFW & they send you those trousers Confused.

I ordered the Rag & Bone chukka boots yesterday so hopefully they will arrive on Monday.

TS flares weren't delivered yesterday despite receiving a text to say they would be. This has never happened before so DH thinks PDM is avoiding him or wants to see me alone. It makes me shudder. Am considering a complaint since I am not prepared to have to deal with him anymore & I don't see why my Next Day Delivery should be late because he is a cowardly letch.

Feeling crappy with a cold, all headache & sinus pain & shivery. DH is the worst nurse & has to be pleaded with to make tea (he's a 30 second Nespresso man vs my kettle on the hob & proper tea leaves in a properly warmed pot gal Wink). You'd think after 16 years together he'd have gotten over the trauma of it. I just like life's little rituals Wink

QueenCardigan · 22/02/2015 09:43

karbea there's an emerald colour that may be good for me but I think it's probably too dressy. I've got a couple of parties in May/June time but not sure if it'll be overdressed.

QueenCardigan · 22/02/2015 09:45

Oh ujjayi that's not good. I would speak to topshop and get your delivery charges refunded and ask them to find out why they weren't delivered on time.

shopafrolic · 22/02/2015 10:27

Morning all
QueenQueenie I haven't seen any A line denim skirts I'm afraid - will keep my eye out though - anyone else spotted anything?
I do love my Paige Jimmies Cranagh but if I'm honest they are a bit short - can get away with it in Spring / Summer but not so easy in AW.
Ujjayi complain. You paid for delivery - it should come when promised. If it still that guy it needs dealing with. Hugs and get well soon.
Still feel rubbish here too - the 40 a day smoker cough just won't shift. Not a good sound in a public place Grin
The last day of DH being off today so we are off to a roaring fire gesture pub this evening with DS. Think it may be the first outing for my Adidas Superstars. Am thinking leather skinnies, Warehouse oversized grey knit. They are super bright white though :)
What's everyone else wearing today?

No idea what to wear shop. Walking to the pub for lunch but it's likely to rain and we walk across the park so needs to be sensible. That counts out the flares!
ujayyi did you say you had gap real straight in 26r for sale? Are they dark wash? If so how much do you want for them. I didn't really need any new straight jeans but have just noticed that I've ruined the knee on one of my pairs when I fell off my bike Grin.

BrandyAlexander · 22/02/2015 11:15

Morning all! What a gorgeous daySmile woke up with the sun streaming into our bedroom and it was lovely. Dh being a godsend and taken the dcs outside into the garden and finally feeling more like me so just painted toe nails and have a hair mask on.

Am wearing black jeggings. A TKMaxx legendary buy for £12.99. Fit like a dream and washes well. With a Desigual top. And a hair turban.Grin

BrandyAlexander · 22/02/2015 11:33

Oh forget to mention my late night shopping!

Nissa red draped dress was £16 from Brand Alley. Original price was £110 so not bad!

Hoss Intropia red draped dress. Original price £210 and got it for £45.

I then did a warehouse shop. I had an accident this week and lost my top shop cream hat so replaced it with this one but it was so cute I also got in pink too. I got this jacket with hood which is for running around on Weekends with kids when it's too warm for my jack wolfskin coat but is rainy. Oh plus animal print crew top which I bought in a size 8 but is too big so have bought it in a 6 to try.

AmberNectarine · 22/02/2015 11:41

Love that leopard top novice

Today I am wearing a pale grey oversized chunky knit jumper by Alexander wang, a red tribal print mini from American Apparel, black suede over the knee boots and black shearling snood.

I just want to buy all the shoes at the moment. Not good.

OneLittleLady · 22/02/2015 11:58

Love those two red dresses novice

amber outfit sounds cute

Uggh, I feel rotten today, sore throat, pounding head and itchy eyes

shopafrolic · 22/02/2015 12:03

So the shoes are BRIGHT white Grin

you look great Shop I'm so [envy} at how long your legs are!

OneLittleLady · 22/02/2015 12:22

Envythat should have been!

Drywhiteplease · 22/02/2015 12:39

Love that outfit Shop ..... I'm still in gym kit. Infact I must make more of an effort on weekends to get out go smelly gym kit and wear my nice stuff during the day because it's getting me down. Really fancy a pair of those trainers, next month I think.

MarshaBrady · 22/02/2015 12:41

Me too Dry, in running kit. Got to decide whether to join the others for lunch first or not.

LinusDKD · 22/02/2015 13:44

dry you are a 26 in your Jimmies, right? Mine are currently a 26 as well but I haven't tried them on in ages so if they are too big you can have mine.

I think I bought my last pair from Shopbop but I'm not sure. I'm always on the lookout for a good deal on Jimmies as I've never paid fp for them.

ujjayi that's just not acceptable, I would complain as you have paid for next day delivery.

Great outfit amber!

Mine is pretty boring, uniqlo merino jumper and skinnies.

We had some lovely homemade chips and homemade steak tartare at lunchtime, ate waaay too much.

Ujjayi · 22/02/2015 14:19

Shop love the outfit.

Novice love that first red dress.

Complaint about delivery is going ahead - both to TS and courier company. As DH said, horrid delivery bloke cannot be only rep for that particular courier company for where we live so hopefully it can be sorted.

QueenC yep I have dark wash Gap Real Straight in 26R. Will PM you :) What shape & wash of denim skirt are you after?

I am currently rocking a pair of cosy flannel pj trousers with a marl grey slouchy v neck tee (Gap) and an oversized cream arran cardigan (Mango). I shall not be blogging/instagramming/pinning this particular look. I was going to get dressed but have decided to have a sofa day instead and wallow for a while in a self-indulgent fashion.

Reflective of my current mood, I have been looking at cosy clothes. I want to have this kind of outfit or here . Comfy & chic so you wouldn't feel like a slacker going to the shop in it - or even to the pub for lunch after a walk with the DCs. For me, it is exactly what I want to throw on on a sunday. I just cannot find the right kind of joggers though. They are all either too baggy or too tight on my calf Knit-wise I have found this which looks gorgeously cosy and the right shade of grey - I need that clean, pearl grey rather than darker marl. And I have a huge slate grey oversized cardigan from Antik Batik that would look great as an alternative to a coat (I already wear it a lot with my black pleather skinnies).

Karbea · 22/02/2015 14:33

Oh I'm having a nightmare!!!!
I've just returned from Bicester I got two nice jumpers from prada. And I found a pair of IM Andrews in green, for £285, they are a size 35, I'm normally a 35.5 but I think they'd be ok, I was about to pay and my credit card wasn't accepted (I've been buying loads of rubbish for the house (light fittings etc)) plus I've two large outnet orders that need to be returned, so I've hit my limit! Anyway the boots are on hold... I could go back and get them tmr after I've found some cash... But I don't know if it was a big hint from the destiny gods that's I shouldn't get them... Bear in mind it's my style day on Thursday...

AmberNectarine · 22/02/2015 14:53

I saw a pair of snake print superstars while I was out that almost made me weep at their sheer beauty shop. I love yours btw.

Finally tracked down the H&M black skinny dungarees in my size - yippee! Am going to wear with cropped tops underneath to flash a little flesh. DH not impressed by them - he hates dungarees, but I LOVE them.
