Karbea could you wear this dress? I keep looking at it but it's too short for me.

I have ordered two dresses from the Outnet...

Tory Burch
Raoul

I so hope the Raoul is a keeper as it looks absolutely perfect for work.

Thanks lib, I'll try the tongue exercises and have had some ibuprofen. As for dentist, will see how long it continues. Apparently chewing gum before bed can also help work out the tension (according to my sister's orthodontist).

Like all 3 of those outnet dresses! And the KM ones novice. I know what you mean about not finding anything in there usually.

I need some styling advice (I will probably have a few wedding dilemmas in the next few weeks). First up, bridesmaids and what jewellery to go with their dresses. They are all wearing pale gold sparkly fabric shoes and will have their hair half up, half down and curled. So I'm thinking small/simple earrings and a gold pendant necklace (probably part of my present to them). What do the Voguettes think?

Next I will probably need to discuss my jewellery and hair accessory and my mum's outfit!

shopafrolic · 08/02/2015 18:23

Blair jewellery sounds lovely. I would keep it simple as it is these things that can tend to date photos in years to come.......
Waves to all. Took DF out for a birthday lunch today at our favourite restaurant. Nice for him to have fun in the midst of his health worries. Hope everyone has had lovely weekends. x

MarshaBrady · 08/02/2015 18:30

Blair yes to simple, gorgeous dress, I'd be tempted to not have a necklace and very small earrings.

Lib lovely dresses. Esp love the Raoul.

It was a lovely day, I had a great run and it felt like early spring ignoring the masses of people / dogs now clogging the path and the part where I opened the gate the wrong way and now how a big lump on my leg.

Just had chicken, asparagus, lemon, flat parsley and ginger stir fry, it was yum.

Karbea · 08/02/2015 19:21

novice I'm a 28ff, I need to order some undies tonight.
I've never got anything from KM my body seems to be the wrong shape.

Karbea · 08/02/2015 19:24

lib don't you think the dress has too much black? Otherwise yes it might fit me. I love the shape of the Tory burch dress.

blair the dresses are gorgeous! I agree with the others something simple and classic, although I think I'd just have earrings as there is already interest on the neckline.

AmberNectarine · 08/02/2015 19:26

I bought only razors and veet strips so the finances are intact for now. I did take delivery of this ridiculous item this week though, which I am very pleased with.

QueenCardigan · 08/02/2015 19:31

bafta dresses

QueenCardigan · 08/02/2015 19:36

blair I would just go for earrings and no necklace as I think there's alrady enough detailing on the dress.

OneLittleLady · 08/02/2015 19:41

I LOVE that Amber

Suitcase packing has sort of begun. Do you think 2 swimsuits and a tankini is enough for two weeks? I do have access to a washing machine in the villa

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 08/02/2015 19:41

Interesting, thanks shop Marsha and Karbea :) you're right, the dresses definitely need to be the centrepiece.

That's lovely shop, glad you had a good time despite the worries.

Amber I have no words but that is amazing Grin

Ooh thanks for link QueenC...

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 08/02/2015 19:46

Reese Witherspoon - LOVE it
Tom Hiddleston - Yum
Kristin Scott Thomas - classy
Natalie Dormer - No
Douglas Booth - Swoon

MarshaBrady · 08/02/2015 20:13

Looking now, Blair who is Douglas Booth? I must have seen him in something but can't think what?

MarshaBrady · 08/02/2015 20:17

Lace gloves - horrible

A couple of nearly theres
Rosamund Pike, looks lovely but not keen on the top of the neckline
Léa Seydoux - yellow one, she would look amazing without the cut out part
Julianne Moore looks glorious in red, but not keen on plunge

Reese W - incredible colour on her

libertychick · 08/02/2015 20:27

Blair I agree with the others. Earrings probably enough. Those dresses are really fabulous. Lucky bridesmaids!

Karbea the item description says the dress is army green so I am assuming that the bits that look black are really very dark green.

Just another thought karbea. Outnet CS is very good. If you like the dress you could email them and ask about the colour. I have emailed them before about an item and got a very fast and detailed response.

Douglas for Marsha. I think I've only actually seen him in one thing, which was the BBC's Great Expectations last Christmas. Wouldn't mind seeing more though!

:) lib they are going to look beautiful, I can't wait to see them in the dresses on the day.

shopafrolic · 08/02/2015 21:50

Can't believe I missed the link to their dresses . Just earrings. Stunning. What lucky ladies to have a bride with fabulous taste! :)

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 08/02/2015 21:58

Thank you shop! I just really want them to look stunning - my lovely sisters and SIL to be :) (they all really suit coral as well!)

shopafrolic · 08/02/2015 22:06

Smile Smile Smile

BrandyAlexander · 09/02/2015 09:07

Morning!

Blair love the dresses, the style is similar to the one my bridesmaids had but minus the detailing in the middle. My bridesmaids wore glam jewelry because the dresses were simple so it wasn't too much. I agree with everyone else that your bridesmaids just need earrings. However, depending on how traditional your wedding is, will depend on how ostentatious the earrings are. Eg I could see a marvellous gold and Swarovski number going really well with the dress but not so if its traditional church wedding. Hope that is making sense!!!Grin

Karbea · 09/02/2015 09:16

Morning all,

I've ordered 2 bras and 4 matching knickers and my bobble hat (went with the oatmeal one from the company bum40 Kat used).
Right off to do my volunteering, then might go to westfield... Are there still lots of sales on?

BrandyAlexander · 09/02/2015 09:24

Hi Karbea I was thinking of you earlier as I was rechecking my bra size. 28ff is such an awkward size, that must be sooo annoying! There are sales on still but (as I discovered on Saturday) it's real dregs stuff so don't raise your hopes too much. Have a good time!
