We finally watched gone girl yesterday, and it was so and so, Ben affleck was very good, but I had trouble hearing and understanding rosamund pike, if you've read the book don't bother, I think.

I felt exactly the same about Gone Girl. Couldn't understand her very well, and it just felt like it was going through the paces wrt the book.

He was good, but I love him in stuff anyway.

fedup yes the tops are nice. I really need to have a proper look and work out what I really need. I've never really had long sleeved t shirts before, I've tended to be more fitted. I still really need to work out what I want to look like ;)
I think the main problem is, I'm panicking thinking I need everything (which I do) and just flitting from boots, to jeans, to hats, to blazers and not actually buying anything. Which is why I was thinking maybe I should follow that "build a wardrobe from scratch" thing I was looking at yesterday.

So I think I'm going to look for a really nice pair of tan trousers this week, maybe the leather ones from massimo dutti? But ideally just a pair of nice trousers I could wear anywhere (try and get me out of jeans, baby steps!).
Then next week I'll look for boots/shoes to wear with the trousers....

I hated the end of gone girl, film and book.

I enjoyed Gone Girl book but agree the film was a bit meh. Loved Rabbit Proof fence but spent most of the film crying. I am a shocker for crying at films, TV, books etc. I was sobbing so much during the Kite Runner I nearly had to leave the cinema! I had read the book first so it's not like I didn't know what was going to happen.

Am just wearing jeans and a grey hoody today - both Gap as doing some clearing in the loft. Woohoo, living the life in the fedup household!

fedup I'm back in slob wear! god knows why I'm bothered about getting any nice clothes! I wear scrappy stuff so much.
I need to do some housework, dh and I didn't move yesterday and my parents were here on Friday doing little diy jobs and now the place looks horrendous. I really need to decide whether to get a cleaner but every time I think about it I just feel bad as it's not as if I work really, or have children, I should be able to keep the house tidy and clean...

Wedding meeting went ok, it's going to be nice to have a clear list of what still needs to be done. They wouldn't let us in the spa though :( gutted. And now something is wrong with DP's car. Stress all round. The last 2 nights I have been kept awake with awful jaw pain, I think I must be clenching it in my sleep. It went away quickly yesterday, but today I still can't close my mouth properly as my bottom jaw feels all wrong. That's going to be fun if it happens every night for the next 2 months.

I loved Gone Girl, but I had forgotten what happened in the book before I saw the film, which was handy.

Dp has gone home so it's just me and OneCat again. Wearing my newest dress today, the black and floral sale one I got earlier in the week, it fits beautifully and makes a real show of my waist, showing off my best bit really

I'm going to go and sort out my underwear drawer. I'm feeling really fed up with everything.
I feel like I'm trying to boil the ocean with everything (home, clothes) just procrastinating and not actually doing anything. Hurumpf!

Blair google TMJ exercises. I get this a lot, most effective exercise for getting the joint back into place is to just curl your tongue back against the roof of your mouth. If you are clenching your jaw every night it might be worth getting a mouth guard. Also maybe get a good head and neck massage, the muscles, joint etc in that area are all connected and it's very common to tense up your neck when you are stressed and then that can lead to jaw pain too. my dentist also recommends using Neurofen as the joint can get inflammed so it needs a rest and to avoid hard foods for a day or two.

I have a new piece of autumn clothing today thanks to the wonders of Dylon! I dyed this cardigan with Dylon sunflower yellow and it has come out as a really lovely mustard marl effect. Wearing it with the Hallhuber floral blouse, Paige skinnies and knee high tan boots.

Hello everyone! I managed to have 2.5 hours to myself on the high street yesterday! I found success in Karen Millen. Don't think I have ever bought anything myself in there but 2 of my sibs always get me stuff from there. I think this dress will go well with my black lkb knee high kitten heel boots. I also got this dress for dress down Fridays at work. Other than that, the high street was a total damp squib. I got home and saw this warehouse animal print top on the JL website. They had it in every size possible before I pinned it. . I can see myself wearing it with leather leggings. Longstanding MNVers will know I like a nice pair of snugly slippers (yeah, dead chic I am!, snort!) so I got these joules slippers. I meant to get the helmut lang cashmere snood when it was reduced in the sales. Never got round to it so I got this john Lewis cashmere cable snood instead. I feel somewhat guilty because my scarf and pashmina section of my dressing room could be a shop in themselves. Oh also bought myself some new underwear. I think I have put on fat in my boobs and might now be a 28F. I really hope not as it's not exactly a popular size! Not for the first time, it has dawned on me that I have too many clothes and I need to do a major declutter!!! Hope you're all having lovely Sundays and MrAmber isn't in the doghouse for too long!!
