Its a thoughtful tattoo shop go for it.

I love that Breton top, that's really terrible regarding your dh's work.

liberty that's very impressive, and you really sound positive, love the shirt too,

I try to go to bed early, but I can't! I should try.

Love that VB tote betty.

queen glad dcs are well now.

novice take care,

Since we all are still on the flare topic how will you wear yours? I tried to wear mine with a striped red Breton top,and shrunken chanel black cardi, but it looked odd as the top is a bit loose and cropped, so wore them with a silk shirt instead, but when I wear them with my trench I look like Jane Fonda circa1970s.

justasecond · 04/02/2015 14:49

You lot have been busy! Lots to catch up on.
It has been so cold that I have had to get my down coat out, it only comes out as a last resort against the cold. Otherwise I am loving wearing my new whistles coat (I decided to keep it) It is just a perfect fit and comfortable to wear despite being quite fitted www.polyvore.com/whistles_irene_slime_collarless_overcoat/set?id=143515564
Queen glad dc are better hope you feel better soon too.
Lib love that shirt, you should defo keep it. Impressed that you are being so disciplined. I am going to try to go to bed earlier and read more books instead of being online.
Santa those shoes are stunning, such a gorgeous colour.
Ujjayi how amazing re TS using your pic. I would love to see your blog too if thats ok?
Shop thats crap re your dh's targets. It just seems that the good, most effective workers are always flogged for more. Love the pink Boden jumper, your leopard pumps will look great with it.
One lovely dress and hope you get the help you need with the pain.
Dry love that jumper. I was thinking of getting some navy stan smiths as the darker colour makes them not so stand out. I saw these the other day and thought of you www.toryburch.co.uk/greenwich-suede-pump/31148305.html?start=14&dwvar_31148305_color=529
Betty love that VB bag.
Not sure re flares, its always the footwear that puts me off as I don't like wearing heels during the day and I think they do need a bit of height with them. What will everyone else wear on their feet with them?
sorry if I have missed anyone

justasecond · 04/02/2015 14:55

Oh and good luck Novice with your work project and hope you feel better soon.
Shop re tattoo I am a bit with Linus on it as they are so permanent but as tattoos go that is v tasteful and subtle and on an area of your body that will not wrinkle or sag Smile. Ouch though..

AmberNectarine · 04/02/2015 15:01

Early night for me.

Turns out daquiris followed by Sauvignon followed by martinis all on an empty stomach is NOT the recipe for a productive day.

OneLittleLady · 04/02/2015 15:21

I've got so so much work to do. I'm taking it one thing at a time though, trying to finish one before I start another so everything's done to the best of my ability. Getting some flack for being off this week but my health comes first right now. I'm committed to my course and to the groups im in but this week, I've been off on doctor's orders. I'm not happy about it and I know other people aren't either but what can I do? I'm doing as much as I can from home but I don't have access to everything so there's certain things I can't do unfortunately. I wish I was there, I really do, anything but the injections etc but it's not been possible this week, it just hasn't Sad

shopafrolic · 04/02/2015 15:27

Lib that is two people's wrists on the Pin - husband and wife with their wedding date..... I'll just do one if I go for it. But need to find someone who does good clean lines.

QueenCardigan · 04/02/2015 16:00

And so it continues....nursery called to pick up dd who was falling asleep,ds has come home and has another temperature and I feel bloody rotten again.

justa I haven't worked out the shoe thing yet but I agree they need a bit of height.
one you can only do what you can do. If the doctor signs you off then so be it Flowers
Go for it shop. What does dh think?

shopafrolic · 04/02/2015 16:03

Oh no QueenC - hugs for you. Hope everyone gets over it soon :(
I haven't spoken to DH about it yet...... Hmm

Ujjayi · 04/02/2015 16:41

Why do schools think that a parent will be less panicked by a call in the middle of the day if they talk verrrrry sloooowly & go all around the houses before getting to the facts?! Youngest DS had a nasty bump to the head from an automatic door. Apparently they have doors which shut automatically as soon as noise levels get too high? So I had to rush out to get him as he was in a bit of a state. Anyway, he has an egg sized lump on his forehead and is dosed up on Nurofen now and resting. He's fine...he has been asking for x-box time...I've assured him that won't be happening today!

Will catch up on all news more fully later. I have PM'd as many people with blog details etc as I can. If you have requested info but not received could you send me a PM instead?

shopafrolic · 04/02/2015 16:51

Hope he recovers quickly Ujjayi Flowers
Linus Amazon collect the jeans and do the return FOC so nothing lost trying those Paige jeans. :)

sleepwhenidie · 04/02/2015 17:06

Sad QueenC

Ujjayi I hope DS feels better soon - doesn't sound too serious if he wants the XBox Wink. Please could I have a link to the blog too (or could someone link here if it is ok with Ujjayi?)

Quick advice please, remind me what Goldsign Lure sizing is like??

shopafrolic · 04/02/2015 17:35

Sleep I wear a 29 in Lure, 27 in Paige Jimmies, 30 in TS Baxters, 29 in most other brands so I would guess true to size. They look teeny tiny but they stretch out really well........

shopafrolic · 04/02/2015 17:35

If you've found some bargainous ones can you let me know?

Drywhiteplease · 04/02/2015 17:49

Ujj doors that close automatically when noise gets too high? Hmm NEVER heard of that! Automatically closing doors in a primary school sound like an accident waiting to happen. Well, it has. Hope your little one is ok.
QueenC you poor thing.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/02/2015 17:55

Hi all

Hope QueenC family, novice, One and UjjayiDS feel better soon. And anyone else who was ill further back!

Great news on the shirt Lib, silk shirts are so versatile.

Shop that's terrible about your DH's work. 20%! Crazy. I hope he doesn't find it too stressful if he decides to try and move.

These are my flares, but I got them over a year ago. Different wash on asos for £75 in 27 and 32 here.
Inside leg is about 35 inches so be aware if your name isn't shop or Marsha Grin

I'll be able to wear mine from tomorrow!
Was looking at tops like this from asos (to wear with), and now I feel old as I wore that exact outfit on a night out when I was 15 and on post-GCSEs holiday in Newquay!

shopafrolic · 04/02/2015 18:27

What's the sizing like on them Blair?

sleepwhenidie · 04/02/2015 18:35

Thanks Shop the ones I'm looking at are only available in a 27 and I usually wear 26, might try them anyway.

Re the auto close doors, they have at DC2/3's school, it's a built in fire precaution apparently.

Karbea · 04/02/2015 18:41

I've got some black j brand love stories, I don't actually know what I've done with the other flares...

Evening all...

shop I guess your dh is in something to do with sales, mine is too. He always gets annoyed with % breakdowns of revenue and bookings as either one drives different behaviours of the sales guys. It just seems stupid to give targets that are no way achievable.

Karbea · 04/02/2015 18:42

What sort of footwear are you going to wear with the flares?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/02/2015 19:02

shop I think mine are a 28 and my waist is 28in at the smallest part so I guess they are TTS? But then I haven't worn them yet so I don't know how much they'll stretch... maybe santa can help more.

karbea I'm going to wear mine with Pistols for now and have had them adjusted to that length. I'll need to buy some sandals with a similar heel for summer or I could wear these.

LinusDKD · 04/02/2015 19:12

Oh no queenc! I hope it's just a temporary relapse and that you all feel better soon.

DH has cleared his schedule for the rest of the week as he's still unwell Shock.

He's also traveling next week so he wants to be better by then Hmm

ujjayi hope your DS feels better soon as well!

sleep I only had a pair of Goldsign Virtuals (so not Lures) and I took two sizes down and they were still quite roomy when I got them.

shop good news about the Jimmies!

one please take good care of yourself and listen to your dr! And don't feel guilty, it's not like you have a little cold!

shopafrolic · 04/02/2015 19:13

OK well if you wear a 28 then there is no way I'll get into a 27. Thanks. Will keep looking.
Yes Karbea DH is in sales. Rough time of year.

Karbea · 04/02/2015 19:17

Shop umm I feel your pain although my dh only recently changed company so luckily all of that was sorted when he joined.

My black flares are so long, I've no idea why I had them altered to that length, if I wear them again they'll need to be re altered. I've been putting off getting boots :/ I think what I really want is a pair of those rockstud boots but I can only see them in black or burgundy... I'd like brown or green

LinusDKD · 04/02/2015 19:18

Oh and I nearly forgot to mention that M&S came back to me and agreed they were wrong in putting the original amount (pre-discount) on the customs decalaration.

So they have apologised (and apologised for not dealing with it properly in the first place) and are going to refund me the customs duties (and a littlebit more) and they are going to sort out their system so it doesn't happen again.

Result! Glad M&S came through in the end!

maradesbois · 04/02/2015 19:20

Evening,

For flares think I want ones that only go out at bottom, not wide further up so may try the mih skinny Marrakech. I think they need height but don't like platforms and also don't want the all-out '70s look.

Santa love, love the red shoes that you linked last night. Go for it! Also glad you are feeling better. Must be hormonal myself, was almost sobbing today at an art exhibition about a little boy who featured in one of the works whose mother was a heroin addict and couldn't/wouldn't raise him and his father who was famous refused to recognise him. God am welling up again just thinking about it (all this happened 50+ years ago!)

Ujjayi the door thing sounds bizarre on the school's part but glad your ds is ok.
