Grrrr Bloody J Crew! So cross. Placed an order for this sweatshirt 2nd Dec. Order finally arrived today (WTF!) and they've sent the wrong sweatshirt, so now I have to stay in for them to do a DHL collection, and the replacement will be another 8-10 days. Rubbish. Wanted to wear it on Christmas Day - doubt that's going to happen.....

maradesbois · 15/12/2014 14:31

Santa that bag is so cute! I love bonpoint but definitely better for girls.

Lib have just been in tk maxx and they had the grey cashmere coatigan we both liked a while back in clearance for half price. I didn't get it though as picked up a theory jumper instead. Grey cashmere v-neck, very classic. Love the quality of theory knitwear.

QueenCardigan · 15/12/2014 14:50

amber you are hardcore.
shop what a pain as its a great jumper for Christmas day.
New lipstick purchase cassis passion. It was recommended on the winter thread. I really like it, shop you may too, as its just a bit less intense than full on fuschia.

OneLittleLady · 15/12/2014 17:01

What a shame Shop I bet you'd look fab in it too

amber dontcha know that sparkly things make every girl look like a princess Xmas Wink enjoy your celebrations btw

Lovely links queenc

I'm still pushing through, really hoping i don't get any sicker, pretty certain i've got both infected cut and a water infection plus my chest still isnt right. Ahhh, I hate this time of year purely because of how ill I always seem to get. Anyway, one composition down, one half finished, one two thirds finished and i've got all the physical books I need to start making up my presentation. Very kindly one of the librarians helped me get the books off the shelves and to the desk so I wasn't struggling with them. Got a room reserved for tomorrow to get the rest of the compositions finsihed so that's alright.

Clothes wise, my most used item this winter has been my red cashmere cardigan, how about you lovely ladies?

Drywhiteplease · 15/12/2014 17:15

Grrrrr for you Shop how annoying!
QueenC they're dropping like flies...hope your dd gets better so she can enjoy the few last days of school DVD watching
Amber go for it and goid for you. If I had invitations every night I'd give it a go and deal with feeling awful after I will never give in to age!Xmas Grin

Mothers and daughters night out tonight. At 14 they are wuite good fun at the other end of the table .

I really don't know why I can't link from Pinterest any more. Driving me bonkers!

Shop that's rubbish service and surprisingly bad for a big US company. Nice sweatshirt as well so hope you get it sorted.

Got the email earlier from Outnet about extra 20% off & ordered this sweater dress to wear on Christmas Day. Not sure about the black sleeve but do have issues with asymmetry. With the discount and free shipping it's worth a try though.

Drywhiteplease · 15/12/2014 18:44

love this but Chloe at my work Xmas Shock.... Am looking for a black pinafore type dress like this

OP posts:
AmberNectarine · 15/12/2014 18:53

Yes santa, a dead one.

Have made the mistake of sitting down after running around like a maniac all day. I may never get up.

maradesbois · 15/12/2014 20:14

Black Chloé dress is gorgeous Dry but you're right would be less so covered in paint, snot etc...

Alas poor Oscar is no longer here to defend himself but would love to know the thinking behind the yellow monstrosity. Venetian carnival?!

Awks · 15/12/2014 20:40

That's rubbish from J Crew. I know it's not the same but I picked this up on Saturday. It's surprisingly nice and not as cropped as the photo. (search in clearance sequin star sweater £9 if this doesn't work) www.next.co.uk/clearance/?r=cs#%2Fsearch%3Fp%3DQ%26ts%3Dvision%26w%3D*%26cnt%3D16%26nxti%3D0%26nxtv%3D000%26isort%3Dbst%26sale%3DOFFERSNEW%26pfg%3D0FF3R5001%26images%3Don%26af%3Dcat%3Awomenswear+sub%3Atops%26div%3Dwomenswear%26group%3Dtops%26size%3D%26price%3D

Awks · 15/12/2014 20:42

I beg you someone tell me how to do the links properly again Grin

bettykt · 15/12/2014 21:34

Thank you for your helpful comments about APrime. Have Netflix at the moment so may just stick with that for a while. Flowers to Fedup for offering to loan HOC, it's on Netflix so I think I can access Series 2 on there.

QueenC hope ds is feeling better, bless him, I'm closely following the bags link as I think I could be tempted by a black cross body bag although I have to say the grey BV you linked was gorgeous, plus a few others too.

Dry the black Chloe pinafore is very nice.

this JCrew jumper arrived today it arrived pretty quickly considering the time of year but alas it has to go back, it's too big. Hope my Tippis fare better, went for charcoal and black although was very tempted by the yellow one. Shop I like your jumper btw PITA that it won't arrive for Christmas.

Links are converted automatically. You can also use the following:
www.mumsnet.com gives www.mumsnet.com
Mumsnet gives Mumsnet

Follow the 2nd example to have words rather than the link showing.

bettykt · 15/12/2014 21:39

Awks Bummer that wasn't supposed to happen I copied and pasted from where it says links below. Page down a bit and you'll find it Wink

Drywhiteplease · 15/12/2014 21:59

Awks I saw that dress on DP website. Exactly what I'm looking for. Looks a bit short though. BUT I'm a lot shorter than the model, so have given it a go, for that price it's worth a try.

Right.....for short links just do and with the copy and pasted link but put a word after, so.....

Awks, took me ages ages to do links properly; hope you've got it now.

Dry, that yellow dress is a bit, um, much. The ODLR navy dress however, is lovely.

Love the jumper Betty, shame it is too big. Shock at the delivery time Shop. Worse than my recent BR order.

Which reminds me - am keeping this jumper. Also this
silk shirt which I also have in cream.

Queen hope your dc feels better soon as do you One.

Amber, enjoy your 6 nights of partying.

I was heavily pregnant with ds2 on my 30th so no alcohol was involved. Dh did take me away for a couple of nights though.

How did you all celebrate your 30th?

libertychick · 15/12/2014 22:26

Thanks for all the bag links QueenC. I like the Marc Jacobs Natasha a lot and the Fossil Riley is lovely in the pink as you say. And thanks for reminding me about Longchamp - I like the understated look. I'm still deliberating but I really do like the Mulberry Lilly...bear with me folks, a decision will take me a long time. I don't know if anyone remembers how long I spent hunting for a work bag but it took me about 4 months!!

Mara I must keep an eye out for that coatigan. Is your Theory jumper one with a ribbed front? If so, snap, I have the same one! Bought it a few weeks ago and have worn it a lot. I brought it with me on hols and used it for the flights and as a warm layer every evening.

Really like that BR jumper Fedup and the silk shirt looks very useful.

Any purchases in the Matches sale? Nothing there for me

libertychick · 15/12/2014 22:29

Betty for my 30th I had the following:
Party in London
Party in Dublin
Party in home town
A week long drive around Ireland which involved meeting people from uni, travelling days etc in various places every evening and drinking a lot!

Those were the days....
