Still ill here but it's the last week of uni before the holidays so must push through to get work finished much as I'd rather be laid in bed. Have loads of work to do over the holidays as well so no rest for the wicked as they say

Have caught up with The Missing depressing, complicated, brilliant and only done episode 1 of HoC. I'm sure Tvs will become a thing of the past, I seem to watch everything on my iPad mostly because my dcs hog BOTH Tvs with their crap

It's a very misty humid day here. There was loads of mist on the fields when I went for my morning run and the fact that I didn't meet any other people (usually meet lots of people walking their dog) made it a bit creepy.

We only recently upgraded to sky hd so we could get the box sets but can't get Breaking Bad which is what I want to watch next. We don't have any movie channels either but sky have a lot you can rent. Betty I have HOC s2 on DVD - am happy to lend it to you - pm me if interested.

My parents bought a similar one from bonpoint for dd as an Xmas present, she is not into toys that much, but loves dressing up.

I've got Amazon Prime on trial at the moment Betty. They are offering free 30 day trial so thought Christmas was a good time to do it. Annoyingly the app doesn't work on our TV even though Netflix does.

Poor queencjr I hope he feels better soon. Earache is horrible, especially as you can only give them painkillers.

My DD is getting (among other things) a hideous handbag in the shape of a Dalmatian with a sequinned coat. It is really vile, but she was smitten in the shop and asked Father Christmas for it when we saw it at the weekend.

I don't know if even I have the stamina for that kind of carry on but you're only 30 once so I'm gussying up and getting on with it. Hopefully DH has bought me a spell at the priory for Xmas.
