Have you cut your fringe though? its quite long isn't it?

v happy about the bag. Am ignoring dh's mutterings!

libertychick · 16/10/2014 09:03

Morning all.
Lovely bag novice - enjoy!
Good news on liking your new hair style QueenC. Fuller fringe sounds good. I like having a fringe, definitely makes me look younger bu they are a PITA with curly hair.
Marsha how is the Theory jumper?

libertychick · 16/10/2014 09:04

Today's outfit, black Levi curve straight leg jeans and my new H&M black and white plaid shirt. It's really lovely, very soft cotton, feels very cosy. Another work from home day for me.

MarshaBrady · 16/10/2014 09:06

Morning, I just jumped on bus and thought must update on Theory jumper. Grin

So it's going back, soft but too flumpy- shape is wider at the bottom and feels like it will get baggier. It's big too.

MarshaBrady · 16/10/2014 09:07

So we can think about how much we saved Liberty Wink

libertychick · 16/10/2014 09:18

That's made my day Marsha #feelingrich Grin

MarshaBrady · 16/10/2014 09:42

Haha yes and now I go into that stage where I'm willing the pick up to happen quicky and the refund. Although the outnet are brilliant, one reason I don't mind doing premium (although it was a little - ouch at £12)

Stokey · 16/10/2014 10:54

Morning all lovely weather here, working from home typing in the sun.

Lovely bag Novice and well done one the returns Marsha and Liberty.

I bought some black leather hi tops last week but after wearing them round the house decided they weren't comfy enough so took them back. I got some Puma ones instead in the sale and picked up this sweatshirt which I like to think is Kenzo-esque.

I'm trying to buy things suitable for my soon to be SAHM wardrobe rather than work wear. Though am hoping I can wear the sweatshirt and hi tops with a penicl skirt to mix things up a bit.

libertychick · 16/10/2014 11:04

That sweater with high tops and pencil skirt sounds very cool Stokey. Sorry to hear to haven't been able to find work yet. Are you still looking or are you going to have a break?

Stokey · 16/10/2014 11:08

Thanks Liberty

I am still looking but realistically am unlikely to find something before the new year at this point.

My previous company may have an opening then and possibly some freelance consultancy work before that which would tide me over. We'll be Ok but no high-end clothes buys I'm afraid.

libertychick · 16/10/2014 11:43

Fingers crossed for you Stokey.

shopafrolic · 16/10/2014 13:23

Hi tops link doesn't work for me Stokey, I like the sweatshirt. Hope work stuff comes good for you.

Another trip to Milton Keynes today for a contact lens check at Boots, and then a bra fitting at Bravissimo as none of mine seem to fit anymore since I lost weight. Sure enough I am now a 30F so new undies required. The new fuchsia lipstick I put on this morning is fab (and got lots of compliments) but feels v v v bright so I bought a Clinique Chubby Stick in Pudgy Peony which is a bit more sheer and probably better for daytime.

libertychick · 16/10/2014 13:38

DH kept giving me weird looks this morning so I pestered him until he said what was wrong. Apparently I look like a 'farm girl' in the black jeans and plaid shirt! Changed into the Paige Hoxtons and that was declared as better but the shirt is 'all wrong' in his opinion. So annoying. I am out ATM and still have it on but really self conscious now.

shopafrolic · 16/10/2014 14:01

We should put MrMarsha, MrShop and MrLib in a room together and line them up against the wall execution stylie for verbal crimes against fashionistas. Grin
Ignore - as long as you feel great........ (hugs)

libertychick · 16/10/2014 14:04

Agreed. I was so pleased with the shirt this morning. Unfortunately I suspect he is right!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 16/10/2014 14:12

Oh god you can add MrWaldorf to that list. He hated my cape and culottes outfit last week and told me so. It's worse when you're not expecting it though. Would the shirt work better with your black midi skirt? Maybe knotted at the waist?
Like pic 15 in this useful link :)

Stokey · 16/10/2014 14:19

Add MrStokey . he started singing the Monty Python lumberjack song when I put on my Zara red checked shirt this morning.

What do they know about fashion? Love those links Blair. When I tried my shirt on, I tried it with a leather midi and it looked great knotted.

MarshaBrady · 16/10/2014 14:21

Oh that is so funny, they always have to say something!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 16/10/2014 14:23

Haha! What is it about the checked shirts?!

santamarianovella · 16/10/2014 14:55

,I'm paying homage to the 90s ,wearing Marant checked dress, choo bikers and rick Owens biker jacket, when dh saw me this morning, he told me why am I dressed like Jeff Buckley? TBh ,I didn't knew who jeff Buckley was, did a quick google search while I was pretending to get something from the fridge, but I knew the hallelujah song so sang it to him while he was having his breakfast, don't think he will comment on my clothes again Grin.

shopafrolic · 16/10/2014 16:12

I nearly bought this today But it wasn't 100% cotton and I wasn't ballsy enough!

QueenCardigan · 16/10/2014 16:34

Grin at all dh/dp comments. They don't have a clue about fashion do they?

MarshaBrady · 16/10/2014 17:05

So funny. I'm wearing MiH dotty shirt, Marant blazer and Burberry pitch pants and dh said city worker. Always a comment!

shopafrolic · 16/10/2014 17:14

Someone else's turn.......
