I was so gutted to miss out on the red HL dress that I ordered this red Carven dress from ebay new with tags yesterday (for £85, yay!). It's a size 12, but I have the top version in blue in a 10 (hence taking the ebay plunge) and it's tight, so hoping it will be ok.

Just been to hairdressers myself and I've had a thicker fringe cut in. I think I like it. Looks much trendier. As I came out a man told me he loved my bob! Ok, so he was about 60 and waiting for his wife to come out but even so it's nice to be complimented.

Yesterday I went into matalan for a Halloween outfit for dd. Some navy skinnies caught my eye as they're a lovely dark navy colour. They're so, well, skinny, I suppose. I've only just got used to wearing gap skinnies and they're fairly unskinny. I need to have a play with them before deciding whether to keep.

I ordered this Theory cashmere jumper as it came back in my size and feel a bit indulgent as I have meetings all over the shop the next two days and hard to know when I'll be home. So it's coming tonight same day premium. Will try not to feel too bad about that!

Hope you feel better soon one. I am shocked you need a doctor's note for uni. Back in the day i missed whole terms worth of modules. As long as assignments were handed in no one cared :).

Linus makes a good point, if i had needed a doctors note 20 years ago, i would have been screwed! There was one module i did, which no joking, i turned up for the first week and then the next time i turned up was for the exam. The lecturer asked me who i was!

Am wearing my new ish J brands, black ponyskin slipper shoes from Dune and this but in black with a huge purple and navy scarf. First time I have worn it and even though it looks fairly plain in the picture, I love it.

Marsha I did see about I&I discount but the burgundy sweater wasn't included - it's a sign that I can't afford it
