There's a chill in the air as we head towards Autumn. Some of us may have jetted off to sunnier spots, some of us are lounging on yachts (kind of) but we're still going strong 44 editions in. Come and join us for fun, friendly fashion and beauty chat. All welcome, any budget. :)

I can see you wearing trenches Marsha , but in your own way, not fitted or constructed loose with maybe rolled sleeves,

I still wear my older one, but not too much tbh, that's why I don't plan on getting a new one, i have an old storm system jacket that I love, and I wear more,

dry glad you like it Smile

It was really chilly this morning, and now it's raining Sad,

Drywhiteplease · 25/08/2014 12:32

Marsha trenches can look v chic and are "a wardrobe staple". Like Shop my M and S is gathering dust. I'm a blazer woman then proper warm coat. Think, like the perfect jean, a trench is hard to find but when you do it would get a lot of wear.

Linus my Chinti and Parker dress is perfect, fab quality and flattering fit. Perfect for work...pockets, skirt I can move in etc....now I need a pair of boots to go with it. Jalousies are not me but I'm liking these a lot

MarshaBrady · 25/08/2014 12:48

They're nice Dry. yep I could do with a trench. Not too classic for me.

shopafrolic · 25/08/2014 13:00

I love that Marsha - would look awesome with my Pistols......

Loving the trench chat, I agree that everyone can wear one of some sort, but that not everyone suits the really classic burberry type. I do and I have 2 - a camel Asos one and an aqua blue Paul & Joe Sister one. Both cotton and mid thigh. Love them and wear them lots. But for e.g. my sister would look rubbish in them! Agree that Marsha would suit a more relaxed style.

I have made another A/W purchase - this MMK cape. At this rate I won't have anything left to buy this season! Am chuffed though, have wanted a navy cape for aaaaaaages and was resigned to getting a high street one as I do NOT need one. Grin

The outnet has loads of nice stuff in on this rainy bank holiday in case anyone hasn't had a browse yet...

Love those boots Dry, can really see you in them.

MarshaBrady · 25/08/2014 13:15

Love that Blair!

My old one was Paul&Joe funnily enough. But it got so tatty, I had to throw it out from too much wear.

LinusDKD · 25/08/2014 13:18

Thanks marsha! Blush

All this talk about trench coats has reminded me I still have a lightblue Aquascutum trench I bought about 10 years ago that was always wrong on me. I loved the colour and the discount but it was just too bulky for me.

Maybe I can sell it (if I manage to find it)

Lovely SL jacket btw, I love elbow patches. Wink

Great boots as well dry and glad you love the C&P dress as much as I do.

I really like that cape blair, hope it's as nice IRL.

Drywhiteplease · 25/08/2014 13:30

That dress is gorgeous....Shop tempted?

shopafrolic · 25/08/2014 14:47

Yes Blush

No work or study so far today Marsha. Full on 'keep the small child amused duty' instead. I work on a laptop BTW!

Great Duffy dress for shop and I love your cape Blair. V v tempting but I have to focus on boots. And yes I am loving Santa's Mac and wearing it all the time ATM.

In soft play now. Mobbed of course. Picked up my Jigsaw dress from waitrose earlier but no chance to try it on yet.

santamarianovella · 25/08/2014 16:38

blair I love your cape, its something blair Waldorf woul definitely would wear Wink

marsha I love that blazer, I really like the YSL stuff at the moment Hedi slimane finally got t right

Yes shop that dress is gorgeous,

I love this shirt but need to size up for a looser fit,

pleeeeease lurkers have pity, spare me the size S, no APC where I live, and I still can't order anything,

santamarianovella · 25/08/2014 16:40

like this too

OneLittleLady · 25/08/2014 17:08

Can you fabulous ladies help me find something? I need a nice, warm hooded coat for winter. I really need the hood as I can't carry an umbrella with having my crutches. I'd like it to be stylish but if it's a choice between warm and hooded and stylish, I'll take warm and hooded. I'd prefer it not to be an 'outdoorsy' coat, if you know what I mean as I just don't have that kind of lifestyle so I'd feel a bit weird wearing that kind of thing. thank you Thanks

santamarianovella · 25/08/2014 17:21

Belted one?

I really like this duffle one, wow! the model really looks like the duchess of Cambridge,

It looks super cozy and stylish,

OneLittleLady · 25/08/2014 17:23

Belted would be a bonus santa but I can live without it in exchange for warmth and a hood!

LinusDKD · 25/08/2014 17:59

Is this too outdoorsy?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 25/08/2014 18:12

Mango - belted
La redoute - belted but oos in every colour except blue
Couldn't find any more with belts but give it a few weeks and I expect there'll be lots.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 25/08/2014 18:16

Oh and santa that's an ace compliment, thanks Wink

Love the apc shirt and C&P jumper. Ohh I am really looking forward to AW now! Even though I'm going on holiday next week.

Looking forward to hearing how the dress is liberty :)

OneLittleLady · 25/08/2014 18:17

not too outdoorsy linus but it would make me look like the michellin man!!

LinusDKD · 25/08/2014 18:24

this looks lovely and warm but not the cheapest option. There's always discount codes though.

OneLittleLady · 25/08/2014 18:32

ooh, I do like that linus especially in the green

LinusDKD · 25/08/2014 18:40

I love the green too and even more so because of the name 'leprechaun'. Smile

AmberNectarine · 25/08/2014 20:10

I slightly slightly seem to have bought a navy disco...

Drywhiteplease · 25/08/2014 20:12

Yey Amber Smile
