I tried this in black today and whilst I liked the style I found the fabric way too scratchy.

Such a shame but I remember trying on another IM étoile jacket last winter and I had the same problem.

Hi all! Ds was fine when we picked him up. Tired but fine. Dh had got him a small toy (and dd too) to say well done for going. I think dh trying to reduce chances of a wail tomorrow when I do the drop off alone. No chance!

QueenC I'm not mad about those shoes, I like the shape and I think it would really suit your style but I think I'd prefer them to either be in matt leather or else in patent but without the dotty trim IYSWIM.

Stokey my DC's haven't ever had a uniform (DS1 has a very relaxed one). Boys not a problem and DD not often but when she has decided to be tricky I give her a choice of 2 or three outfits or staying in PJ's (I mean it ).

Morning all,

It's been so long since I've been on Vogue it doesn't even come up on my 'I'm on' so time to rectify.

Hugs to Novice and others with school starters. I need to go out and get a few last minute bits today then sew in all the bloody labels.

QueenC not a fan of those shoes either but maybe just as not a fan of OK in general.

Our journey home started off civilised then quickly degenerated. Got home in the early hours of the morning with a grumpy three year old refusing to walk and far too much luggage to manage on my own while trying to cajole him into walking. A lovely lady helped me get our bags off the plane as I was waking him up, couldn't even talk to her properly as felt tears welling up about her being so nice! In the cab ds told me I was not a nice mummy . Life is a lot more difficult than I expected with our little family being separated due to dh's new job and constant travel. Can't wait until we're all settled and together in London.

Looks like there's good stuff on the Outnet today but too much to do and my wallet is remaining firmly closed.

Stokey glad you enjoyed your hols but so sorry about your job. Hope you find a new contract soon.

Btw meant to say am well up for MNV evening do in Dec. Weekend of 13 or earlier would suit me better, will have too much Christmas stuff going on the following one. I vote we put Marsha in charge of venue as she seems very adept at sipping fizz in the smarter establishments of the capital whilst keeping her G Rossi suede pumps pristine! .

Good luck with job hunting Stokey. I don't have work sorted yet for after end Oct but will start worrying about it in a few weeks I hope something good comes up for you.

The Outnet are going to have me marked down as a deranged customer - I haven't been able to get it out of my head and when I checked today the DVF dress] was still there and only one left in my size so I took a deep breath hit the order button and [[http://www.theoutnet.com/en-GB/product/M-Missoni/Wool-blend-mini-skirt/502039 this Missoni skirt also fell into my basket - I'm now having the post shopping nervy, anxious thing that Marsha gets

Needless to say, boots and trousers will have to wait....
