There's a chill in the air as we head towards Autumn. Some of us may have jetted off to sunnier spots, some of us are lounging on yachts (kind of) but we're still going strong 44 editions in. Come and join us for fun, friendly fashion and beauty chat. All welcome, any budget. :)

I had a fab Arran jumper that I knitted with my mum when I was a teen. Wish I'd kept it ignores the fact that it wouldn't fit

Oh if you want yellow, maybe this in canary (fab name)

Might try cable knits again this winter now I've lost some weight. They do have a tendency to make me look chunky.

shopafrolic · 30/08/2014 21:05

Oooo that is v nice Fedup.
Love the leather detail too Linus - think I'll try and find a high street equivalent for starters and see how I get on.

lovely but cotton. Nice weave though.

LinusDKD · 30/08/2014 21:09

oh this looks a bit like the jumper (P. Lim?) you loved but was too big.

LinusDKD · 30/08/2014 21:11

leather elbow patches

Fedupnagging · 30/08/2014 21:21

This is lovely in cream but it's £££ and I'd probably shrink it!

This is much more purse friendly.

santamarianovella · 30/08/2014 21:44

Lovely links fedup

shop your marant shirt was styled with the oversized kimono cardigan
it looked so good teamed with a big oversized cardigan, why don't you do that instead of jumper?

Wow what great linkage to wake up to on a Sunday morning. This is what I love about MNV. along with many other things
Shop I really like the layered/relaxed shirt under jumper look a lot, some wonderful, and tempting links from Fedup and linus.
linus I love the grey and black boxy COS sweater with black trousers (I'd wear 7/8) and brogues..that's what I look like at work a lot (when I'm not wearing a dress)
QueenC some beautiful links. Love the plum dress.
I think Xmas MU could be tricky for me. Silly season up here.

QueenCardigan · 31/08/2014 09:25

I checked the calendar for the meet up and I am potentially free the weekends of 13 and 20 December but it's likely that there will be stuff going on here. Are you thinking daytime meet up or night out? Thinking about it sober it's best that you Londoners do what works for you and then if we have nothing going on locally I could join you.

BrandyAlexander · 31/08/2014 09:48

Morning everyone! Back and relaxed after our best holiday in 6 years!Smile

I am refusing think a/w - can't we eek out summer a bit more??!!

Having said that I have got in a few buysGrin. Pink Hunter wellies, www.marksandspencer.com/petite-1-button-panelled-jacket/p/p22297262 this jacket (which is lovely and would be perfect in black) and this lkb trench coat. I tried the MS jacket in both 6 and 8, keeping the 6 but I have only ordered the trench in an 8 which I now think is a bit silly. Oh and finally made a decision on the bikers! I have ordered the RB ones.

Hope everyone is good on this sunny day! Definitely easier to come home to sunshine!

Love those Ash boots and Burberry dress queenc, such lovely colours.

MarshaBrady · 31/08/2014 10:36

Morning, love those links Queenc especially the pleated dress and the Joseph coat. Fantasy link for me too atm!, am on hiatus.

Welcome back Novice, so nice to have you back. Love the links.

Christmas dates are going to be hard aren't they? I'm still keen for a dress up, night time one - my favourite thing would love to do that.

Thanks Marsha - not surprised you're on a hiatus!!Grin

Weekend of 6/7 is out for me too. I can do the 13th or 20th though? And the Friday nights of those two weekends are currently free. If we decide which one, I was thinking of doing an Xmas party for the neighbours on one of those weekends so I will arrange it around an MNV Xmas party! It's the 31st August and my December diary is filling upShock

OneLittleLady · 31/08/2014 11:47
